My daughter needed new sunglasses and there weren't any styles she liked at our usual doctor, so we decided to try this place. I can't say I'm terribly pleased with them. They charge a fee for using a credit card and essentially have no return policy for any prescription frames, only a $50 "restyling fee" for exchanging them. I didn't see any signs indicating this information, nor were these policies clearly listed on their website, so I didn't find any of this out until we reached checkout. At least for the frames we selected, there was no warranty. (If you want, you can pay extra and get a warranty for the lenses) When the glasses came in, the prescription itself seemed fine, but the person adjusting the frames did a poor job. (Frames were slightly skewed to one side, but he said to give it a few days to make sure it wasn't an adjustment period problem.) However, the next time my daughter put them on, she noticed that her peripheral vision was blurry. We asked our regular doctor about it after getting a firmer adjustment, and their conclusion was that it was perhaps a difference in frame shape/material quality causing the issue. (As the prescription itself was correct) The glasses are obviously no good for driving, but because the return policy is so lacking, we feel that there isn't much we can do besides keep them. This shop does have very convenient hours and fast service, and since we were only shopping for frames, I cannot speak to the quality of their in-house doctors. read more

I love going to Doctor Adam Maison, he's been my doctor for over 30 years. He's been out do to medical reasons and so I saw another doctor. Since I received my glasses I've had problems and can't focus. Went to eye specialist in strabismus, and the prism in my glasses is not correct. Called to setup another appointment to resolve the issue. No one answered the phone from 12 - 1 pm. Finally got through, and the customer service was the worse I've ever experienced. The young man who answered the phone was rude and unpleasant. His treatment to me over the phone was very Irritating. When I asked him to wait and let me explain the situation to him, he hung up on me. I called back and they wouldn't answer the phone. When Dr. Madison is not there I don't know what that stuff does but they are not customer friendly. read more

A small business owner can run his business as he sees fit but if you are going to require a mask to enter your business then you should tell them that when you set up the appointment. All the receptionist could say over and over was that "they require a mask for the appointment" like a parrot. Why? everyone else that I saw wasn't requiring a mask and there is no longer a mask requirement throughout the entire state. I've been with Dr. Madison for 15 years now. My family's followed him through the growth of his practi and won't go anywhere else. Drs Adam and Mitra are so personable and kind; they really care about their patients and they take time to hear your concerns and talk you through prescription options (whether frames or contacts), and treatments for any optometric issues you may face. Adam is deeply knowledgeable in the field and only recommends the best quality of specialist doctors (he recently walked me through the LASIK process with TLC and is now seeing through my post-ops) so you can get the best care possible. They don't put any pressure on you to purchase from them. They put your eye health first. All that aside, you can't put a price on people of this caliber. They are seriously the best in the business. read more

I could not be happier. I am fanatically picky about my glasses. I have a difficult prescription for lenses and I rapidly go from reading/computer/ distance all the time. They called my insurance up with ease and told me what to expect. I chose one of their more expensive frames and was told two weeks to get my lenses. The glasses came back in 8 days. It's wonderful to see how Dr. A has grown his practice out of the mall in the mid-2000s into two offices serving Fredericksburg. Dr Adam Madison is the best! His concern for the whole patient is comforting. His staff is friendly and helpful in answering all our questions about our available insurance coverage and which frames fit best within our coverage budget. This place has NO customer service, no respect for the patients, is not up front or honest about pricing (especially for frames for children). The day of your appointment you will wait well past your appointment time and then be shuffled between multiple exam rooms before finally seeing the DR. Had a great visit with Dr. Dham, she was amazing! The appointment was quick and efficient. Everyone was super helpful. I decided not to order my contacts with them and they had no issues with giving me my prescription to get them filled elsewhere. I also did the same with my old glasses to replace the lenses. They will try and price match if they can. I did order new glasses with them and they came in perfect, no issues. This eye studio has terrible service. I paid $300 for new glasses and the frames they gave me were damaged. I asked if they were able to receive a new frame that was in better condition since I paid a lot for them. They tried to argue with me that the damage wasn't a big deal and that the frames were handmade so discrepancies were bound to happen and that is just the way it is. I asked once again if I could get new frame. They said they would call me on Monday (I was in the store on a Saturday.) I got no call back. I waited a week and still not call back so I went into the store. I told them my issue and I got the same response, that they couldn't do anything for me, I didn't even get an apology for the damage or inconvenience. If you want attentive customer service and quality glasses I would NOT recommend this place. read more

I have no idea why Drs. Dham, Madison, and Fiegel put up with me. I'm an awful patient. I have astigmatism in both eyes and insist on wearing contact lenses. They go above and beyond to work it out for me and see me as often as necessary. Their staff is also accommodating and allow me to bounce back and forth between offices to ensure that I always get the best care that my schedule will allow. Exam prices are reasonable, they price-match contact lens prices, and I leave with a smile on my face every time. read more

If I could leave no stars I would! This place is a nightmare from the get go. They see you 30 minutes to an hour late for your visit always complain about being short staffed so that's the reason for the wait. Then they jack up your billing and order things that you didn't ask for then when you tell them you don't want it they want to bill you and hold your prescriptions hostage--even though they already gave them to you once!!!!! And don't ask to speak to the manager because she's just as clueless and incompetent as the rest of the staff under her. Avoid this place like the plague unless you don't mind constant runaround, waiting, balances you shouldn't have and at the end of the day still not getting the glasses and contacts you came here for!!! read more

Amazing service. My glasses had broken, (the screw fell out of the hinge and couldn't use them). So I go there to see if they could fix them for a reasonable price, but instead I got it for free. My glasses hinges were very loose too so they also fixed that and on top of that clean them. The environment was clean and organized and made me feel welcome. The people there were very nice, fast and reliable. I really recommend this eye doctor! read more

I called Maui Jim and they recommended Sight Studio to help me out. Great customer service! They heard my request, ordered the parts for me and then fixed my sunglasses on site. Don't pay attention to the reviews that gave Sight Studio less than stellar reviews, especially when you review the individuals who gave the review...no friends and no other reviews = less than legitimate reviewers. From the moment I walked in to Sight Studios and left I was totally impressed and still am. They remember you and it feels like family which is very refreshing. The staff are very knowledgeable about the service they provide. They will tell you based on your Insurance plan what will be covered in your visit, including the type of frames that will be covered under your plan, and frames WILL be the most expensive part of your visit. You can venture outside of the 'what's covered wall' as far as frames go. If you are looking for one of those cheap budget optical shops with shoddy service, then don't walk through the door, because they provide the kind of service I expect from an Optometrist. They stand by their products and having worn glasses for 80% of my life I am pretty impressed with what they have. read more

Their staff must have written these other reviews because both my husband and I have had awful experiences there now. I went to my appointment last year, then found that their glasses are so expensive that didn't have any that our insurance covered in full. So I took my RX elsewhere. When that company tried to put through the payment to our insurance they were told that Sight Studio had informed the insurance that I was only to get my glasses there and not to pay for me to get them anywhere else. I certainly never approved that at all. Now my husband has been waiting over 3 weeks for the contacts they were supposed to order for him, after his appointment. We went in today to find out where they are and were given a couple of different stories about the situation. First he was told they hadn't been ordered. Then, we asked for a refund so we get them elsewhere, they said they couldn't do that because they had been ordered. If they have been ordered, where are they? They had no response. It's never taken more than a week for his contacts to come in from other optometrists. They did not offer to try to get express shipping on them or any other form of compensation for the wait and trouble; and did not even seem the least bit sorry or apologetic! For a scheduled appointment I waited 40 minutes before the first person saw me, another 30 before the actual doctor saw me. I had to cancel another appointment due to their inefficiency. I told the doctor this and she was incredibly rude & unprofessional. I did not have time to look at glasses and would not have anyway wit their prices. I used Eyeconic online as they pair with my insurance. After receiving my glasses today.....SURPRISE, the prescription the stellar Sight Studio doctor did is wrong in 2 places so far - computer portion and reading portion. I haven't tested the driving portion yet but have no faith and yes I have worn no line trifocals for years. When I called Sight to let them know I need the prescription looked into, I was told I will pay a fee for that.....WOW. They are overpriced and because they think they are a 'boutique" salon, you will pay the price literally. I would NOT recommend. read more

The absolute worst experience I have ever had for eye care. This company cost me so much time and money. Billed my insurance for products not received. Cost me over $300 in insurance premiums and $180 of contact lenses I had to throw in the trash. No one in the office can get their story stright. The officer manager wanted me to pay for another office visit to refit me for the lenses. I asked for the owner to call me several times. Nothing. THE WORST EVER.
