The prices where higher and the food wasn't as good as the first truck we tried. I asked for beans and rice and the very nice lady cooking and taking the orders plus money thought I wanted them on my two tacos. So yep I got two steak tacos with beans and rice on top. ( So ask for them as a side order and be clear about it) The steak in the tacos was very tasty. The beans and rice were authentic. The steak burrito was HUGE and had a sweet taste to it that I couldn't put my finger on. Wasn't bad just with every bite I was thrown off trying to figure out what the flavor was. I got one more Mexican truck to try out here. Then I'll really know which one fits my taste buds.

They also charged me a processing fee for a debit card which is illegal,they can charge for a credit card ,not debit. When I said something to the owner she said she price difference was due to their food cost,which I understand but that should told before you order the food As for the processing fee, she told me they charge that to everyone that uses a card. When I said that was illegal to do she said than don't come back again which I have no intention in doing. I'm sure this is not an isolated issue so please pay attention to the prices very carefully. This is a business owned by an elderly laady,not something I would expect from this lady but here you go. Be careful.

I love enjoying the Idlewild park beauty with the Truckee River run through the park! It's so fun to see all ages out on a Friday night! It's one of my favorite things to do in the summer! After we finally found a spot to park, we grabbed out chairs and headed to the Park. After picking our spots by the duck pond, we walked around a bit to survey the offerings. We tried three different trucks and sampled some pretty delicious bites. Some of the lines were a long wait and some were moving along pretty fine. But there's pretty much something for everyone. I would definitely hit this up again, but probably try to arrive earlier to plan better parking. It was a bit of a challenge navigating this for the first time, but at least I know what to expect now. I really wish my hometown had something like this. May try it again later this summer.

Their meal options have never blown me away, so on this latest visit, we just grabbed some sweet treats. A Dr. Pepper float, a fresh banana milkshake, and a couple of vanilla soft serve cones. The ice cream lives up to expectations. Move aside, McDonald's- Scoopers has a WORKING ice cream machine, and it's BETTER! The ice cream is so creamy, and the cones are huge. The fresh banana shake has chunks of real banana. Is there better ice cream out there? Sure. But for inexpensive soft serve in that classic diner environment, Scoopers is great.
