I had the rear chrome delete done on my Mercedes GLE 53 and the quality of the work was outstanding. What surprised me most was the pricing it was more competitive than several other shops I looked into especially considering the quality of the finished product. I'll definitely be back to have the rest of the chrome trim done and will be using them for detailing as well. If your car is already pretty clean I would use them, but otherwise I don't think it was a true detail.

Poor customer service and misleading explanation of the pricing…read more I've been a regular customer at Russell Fischer and normally use my AAA discount, which takes $4 off my car wash. Today I purchased $50 of gas. At the pump, I selected the car-wash option because doing so gives you a reduced gas price. The option at the pump was the $20 self-service wash. I didn't want the self-service wash, so I went with the hand wash instead. The hand wash was $46.99 plus the $6 large-vehicle charge, totaling $52.99. The $20 self-service wash amount was then applied toward the hand wash, leaving $32.99. When I asked for my usual $4 AAA discount, the employee refused and told me I had already received a "$20 discount." That isn't what happened--the $20 was the price of the self-service wash associated with the gas promotion, not my AAA discount. What made the situation worse was the employee's attitude. When I questioned the charge, she was rude and told me she "didn't care." That is completely unacceptable customer service. I'm not upset about $4. I'm disappointed that a regular customer was treated this way and that the employee couldn't simply explain the pricing or get a manager to clarify it. Russell Fischer should review both the transaction and the employee's conduct.

UPDATE: Updating my review since the business owner…read moreobviously likes to respond to all his negative reviews to try and control the narrative - saying customers are lying, leaving false reviews, or weren't even customers to begin with. To start, the business owner is saying I lied about my experience and I was "belligerent" over them being late. He edited his response to me four different times (see emails). To address his original comments: 1.) "you provided two different numbers" -- this information is correct, however, the business owner ONLY used the primary one (just for clarification) and never contacted the other number throughout this experience. 2.) "over an hour before arrival, we informed you our technician would be running late" -- I wasn't contacted by anyone from this company until *I* reached out first, by this time, the technician was already late by 10 minutes. 3.) "we completed your full service including the engine bay detail, which we have clear photo evidence of" -- business owner offered free wash, wax, and engine bay cleaning due to being late - the wax was not done, or done poorly, and the engine bay was not cleaned, we were picking leaves out of it and its dusty, as you can see in the picture. 4.) "after the job was finished, we spoke directly" -- no? We didn't speak directly. I spoke to your technician and thanked him for his work and tipped him - but since he showed up late, we were pressed on time and needed to be on our way and didn't check the car throughly. 5.) "I still gave you a courtesy discount due to the delay" -- for clarification, no discount was given on the initial cost of the Interior Only detail. Only the offer of free services that were not completed, other than the wash. 6.) "you were belligerent over us arriving 30 minutes late, even though we had already let you know in advance that we were running behind and confirmed before booking that you had the entire day open." -- apparently, a customer being short and annoyed that your technician was running late with no notice isn't allowed lmao. If a woman says "hi." or "no, I don't want to cancel" is considered "belligerent", I suppose that's a whole other issue you have. Again, I wasn't told in advance that your technician would be late, and I never once said I had the entire day open. 7.) "Throughout the entire process, your behavior toward our team was distasteful and confrontational." -- when your technician arrived, I said hello, and politely asked him to move his car from blocking the driveway. That was the only interaction I had with him, aside from tipping him. We let him do his work and we sat in front of the house in the sun for about 20 minutes, on our property, several feet away from him.
