Found out after a water loss that additional damage resulted from them not removing the linoleum and just placing the laminate flooring over it. Yet they got paid and we didn't find out until it had to be pulled up. Shady. They don't stand behind their warranty either. The flooring installation in the upstairs bathroom was installed incorrectly and they didn't clean the debris from before installing. We tried to get them to fix under warranty and they claim we need to pay for their installer to come out and if he agrees it was the installer fault they'll reimburse us. This isn't how a reputable business should operate. If you're going to hire them you better watch them the entire time or they will cut corners. Spending time in small claims court wasn't how I wanted to resolve this, but since they won't do the right thing we'll have to see if a Judge agrees with us.

They left supplies everywhere for me to clean up. I still cannot open my oven drawer. The floor was cut around the stove so grease etc falls UNDER the flooring. It was built up so drawer does not open. Left nails, screws flooring chips on my Proform treadmill. It has not worked since. They sent a guy back out who did not speak English to 'fix the problems' he looked them never returned. The flooring transitioms began coming up 10 days later December 2025. It's September 2026. My flooring and treadmill and Oven drawer is terrible. The center of the floor looks good in the middle of the room. You trip over transition going into bathroom and bedroom. I even had another room to do when they fixed those problems. No Harv, no fix, no treadmill. The guys drove from Charleston and were exhausted. I requested at least one person being extremely fluent in English. Did not happen. I am very sad to write this review. I only wanted a nice, safe floor for friends and family. I had to stop payment after 7 months, they told me if I called the bank and cancelled it they would then come out (after 7 months) We had a fix it appt in May which did not happen. Floor and Decor is also at fault in this transaction and takes no responsibility as Harv (is a third party) Floor and Decor gave them White quarter rounds for a brown wall which looks ridiculous. The quarter rounds from 60 years ago which lasted and looked good are better than these. The NEW ones already look bad. I am not even sure how that is possible. I would go anywhere but Floor and Decor for advice. I was so excited to finally save money to create a better space. I went to the store about 6 times. Only one manager seems to care but do not follow through. Maybe they did not have to, it would certainly have brought repeat business. Use a local local local company for your floors. Harv specifically told me they were in Columbia when I asked them sent a tired team from Charleston.

Working with this company has been an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE on every level. The quality of work of…read morework and the quality of service would make your head spin. They were very nice up front but it became abundantly clear that you get what you pay for. There was absolutely no attention to detail and I literally had to provide oversight through every step of the process. I tried to give them the benefit of doubt all throughout the process but it wasn't just one thing. 1.) They failed to cover anything with plastic: There was wood dust on every surface, in all the electronics, and even on the dishes. I ended up having to have the house professionally cleaned. 2.) Zero communication and oversight from the lead man: I saw him once throughout the entire process. I literally had to watch the entire process and continuously point out areas missed and even HAIR that was coated into the poly coat in multiple places. 3.) Literally Hair. 4.) I was forced to take days off of work because the quality was that suspect. They didn't even show up one of days and the lead man was rude about it too. 5.) Trim pieces: I literally have enough spare trim (that they charged me for) to do an entire house. A typical contractor would measure and purchase about 20% extra for overage. Definitely not the case and they didn't even finish installing all the pieces! I literally found 2 pieces that weren't nailed in and one that was never even installed and still isn't. 6.) Left all the old trim in my drive way for me to dispose of. 7.) It's now 3 months later and the floor coating is flaking away. 3 MONTHS!!!! That just blows my mind. Not only did I have to have my wife and newborn out of the house for two weeks but now we'll have to do it again. 8.) After the process was complete I discussed my displeasure with the owner hoping he would make it right. He didn't and I should have followed through with my review then but I didn't. Now that the floor if literally flaking away and no one will return my calls or respond to emails over a 3 week period, it's time to share this with all of you. If you get anything from this review, PLEASE do your research and look for recommended source. Not a pretty website and a few good pictures.

I thought for sure that it would end up being a bit more, but I figured it's still a good deal considering I wouldn't need to spend my day lugging a machine over to then clean the carpets myself. Ben showed up right on time even after I changed the time of our appointment the day before. Moving is stressful and he was completely understanding of my timing predicament. I had myself and a small team finishing up some cleaning while they were there. I hated to be in their way, but I was handing over the keys in a couple hours. Ben and his assistant pre-treated any stains and high traffic areas and got to work. The wand machine they use seemed to do an amazing job compared to any standard carpet cleaner I've encountered in the past. They worked very quickly, but were thorough. In less than 2 hours, they finished the job and were on there way for a total of... you guessed it, $69. Not a penny more!
