Like c'mon! Imagine, you can have a cocktail and/or an appetizer and relax reading a book on the couch. Yes, I love this idea, I'm all about it. The place is small but seating is nicely spaced out, it's super cute and cozy, a modern rustic vibe, totally made me want to start my own book club just so I could be the cool person that hosts a gathering here! I came here for a Galentine's Day - Self Love Birthday gathering that was situated in the back room. It's a small room to the back left of the place where 12 people can sit at the three tables and there's a love seat and two chairs with a table accommodating 16 people and a couple more for standing room. We ordered three appetizers at the bar (see my pictures) and everyone ordered a mocktail. They brought the food over to our area but didn't ask who ordered the food or where to put it, they just kind placed it down and walked away. Appetizers were about $8, I was told the Buffalo Chicken Wing dip was not that good but I didn't try it. I ate the Mezza plate and appreciated it, would order again. I think this is a cute date night visit or a bring your bestie and chill kind of place. I'll definitely come back again with a friend to hang out, chat a bit and check out some books!

Staff were warm and welcoming and super nice and accommodating to our group. I would suggest stopping in for a nice drink and appetizer and maybe even pick up a good book! Low and behold, my eye spots the word "healthy" on their menu. Eureka! Dare I read closer? "Supernatural Brownie." Is it supernatural because it's healthy? That must be it! Made with something like 87% Dark Chocolate (with healthy antioxidants), this brownie must be the healthiest dessert in all of mankind. I must order it! So I did, along with a cup of coffee (it was the only truck serving warm coffee). Verdict? Each bite was indeed a supernatural explosion of sweet flavors, dopamine and euphoria flooding my brain. I gave a friend a bite and she was equally amazed and commented that "she could taste the butter." Wait. Hold on. This isn't healthy, is it? Damn. I thought..maybe it was? Well, it is. It's healthy for the soul. That's it. Yes. 5 stars for the dessert. 3 stars for the coffee. I'd love to see some Stumptown or artisan-roasted coffee brewed here with a lot of love. Our soft serve was beautifully crafted, service was friendly and fast, and the soft serve was so good! It's a shame this is in Canada but it was easy enough to walk to from the Falls. The workers serving the ice cream inside were a lot nicer though they didn't really seem to understand how to make some of the orders. It was weird. To my surprise, it was much harder than I expected to tell the cannoli, tiramisu, Nutella, amaretto, and loganberry cheesecakes apart. They all had a rich, creamy texture and a strong vanilla flavor that tied them together, which isn't a bad thing at all. My daughter declared the loganberry her favorite, while my one son couldn't get enough of the coconut slice (really it's amaretto). As for me, I think I'll just have to keep eating more cheesecake before I can confidently pick a favorite!
