And when I do get to the clinic, I am never rushed thru my appointment so the doctor can move on to his next patient. He takes the time to find out everything that is happening in my life, and makes sure all my prescriptions are up to date so I'm never without my medication. I have been a patient of Dr Birdwell for a good number of years, my mother was also a patient of his until she passed away in March 2013. I cannot imagine changing doctors for any reason. Then Katherine (nurse practitioner) entered the room with a big smile! She spent an hour and forty five minutes with me and was incredibly down to earth and thorough! I still can't believe the amount of care I received at this appointment. I can honestly say I have never experienced a doctor's visit like this one. Katherine actually listened to me in such a concerned and caring way. When I mentioned I had chest pains a few weeks ago she immediately ordered an EKG. Within minutes Kelly came in and ran the tests which showed no problems with my heart. What a relief! NO charge for the test! Unbelievable!!! I will recommend this clinic and Katherine to everyone! I asked if there was anything open later in the day as I really needed to be seen I was told no but clearly there is I wk in a clinic so I know that appts can be combined to make a longer appt. I wouldn't go back here if it was raining bricks and I needed just one to complete a house! They tell us he's next, and then another hour goes by and here we are. We've been here since 10am it's currently 2pm. Absolutely unacceptable. There's hardly any patients here as well.
