They re-wired it and they replaced the socket where the light bulb gets inserted, and now it is as good as new! The whole process took less than a week, and they only charged me $17 and change. Of course, before I brought my lamp home, I asked the nice gentleman who was working behind the counter to try it out for me, and he cheerfully obliged. When I praised the excellent work, he thanked me, and he informed me that they have been doing this for years. I am so happy and I highly recommend Continental Hardware to anyone who needs to have a lamp re-wired and/or a lamp's light bulb socket replaced.

I especially wish to offer much thanks to Cathy for her knowledge, patience, and professionalism in helping us pick out vanities, sinks, tiles, and mirrors for our bathroom renovation project. We ordered gorgeous mirrors with built-in led backlight & defogger and awesome hexagon tiles in two different shades for each bathroom (see pics for the mirror and the hex tiles in the matte grey option). Cathy was responsive to emails/calls, promptly addressed any questions/issues along the way, showed us around their very nicely appointed showroom and expertly explained all the different options available - she was very easy and fun to work with.
