YUMMY LA-STYLE Pizza. Pronto Pizza is your standard grab-n-go pizza ala Little Caesar's with a small menu and decent prices. Pronto is a bit pricier than Little Caesar's but it's definitely tasty. Do I like it better? Not sure, I think the crust here is exceptional and the cheese is great. However, it's very different so it's hard to compare the two companies. We ordered the standard pepperoni and cheese pizzas to get a good gauge of flavor, quality, and size. I'd say they're about the same size as a standard Little Caesars pizza, just a couple bucks more. I really liked both pizzas, my Pronto Pizza order smelled so good I opened it in the car! I couldn't resist! Service was a little slow and the pizza did not come out pronto. The guy at the register was nice, he was respectful with all the customers. Pronto Pizza has a large Hispanic fan base, I guess because of the name? Not only was the service poor but the lady making my pizza proceeded to tell me that i had to wait because they are short staff after mentioning I placed my order over an hour ago and proceeded to make everyone else's order. The girl working in the kitchen on 7/4/24 at 7:05 on the location off of baseline. Terrible customer service. I work in the fadt food service and understand that when you're short staff the wait is longer, it is unprofessional to tell customers on the phone that the wait is 20 minutes and have them wait over an hour. This is the first time I have every had an issue. I called and placed an order @5:30 for a 6:30 pick up. I arrived an no one could find my order. Turns out no one placed the order at all. I went to your location about 3:15 pm today. I was going to surprise my kids with pizza. I seen you had a party pack deal for $21.99. So I ask the woman if I could please order it. She gave me a dirty look and said let me see your coupon. I was confused because your advertisement in the store didn't say you needed a coupon. I asked her if they came in the mail. She said no they're online. I asked her if she could show me. She said no. She hasn't done this deal before but she knows you need a coupon and I would have to find it myself. Would like to give it 4.5 rating. Sketchy area, but damn the $5 pepperoni pizza is good. The bread crust is so soft and scrumptious! Paying with cash is a must. They charge .50 cents for any other form of payment, and after reviewing my account I learned that they charged my card an extra .60 cents for no reason. Ill have to ask for tons of crushed red peppers next time to make up for it. The Asst Manager and the Manager wouldn't help a disabled customer that had locked her keys in her car use their phone, even after knowingly reminded it was dark outside and on Baseline St. There is no Humankindness here so I would recommend CHSB and SBMC employees not to patronize this establishment because after she told them she worked at the Hospital, they said they didn't care. The management and even lied to the Security Guard that there was a combative customer that was crying. She had to walk across the street to another establishment that allowed her to make the call to her daughter to bring the spare car keys.
