I was in the mood for pizza and I just so happen to be coming that way and decided to finally give it a try even after reading all the bad reviews. Correct they don't wear uniforms, but let me tell you how great his customer service was! Very well spoken, and food was finished quick. And to top it off, the pizza is soooo delicious! So delicious I ate 4 slices in one sitting, let a few mins pass before a grabbed a 5th slice! And I never eat that many slices at once! I will def go back! We were trying this for our first time and so excited to have a deep dish Pizza. Went in there asked multiple questions about deep dish pizzas. How long is it gonna take is it can I add things to it? Must have said deep dish at least four or five times when I ordered. We waited and found out they had not done a deep dish Pizza. The best feature of this location is a drive through, which I have never seen for a pizza place. It serves as a quick and convenient way for anyone to quickly order and pick up items from the convince of their automobile. For my first visit here I utilized this feature and was able to quickly place my order and pick it up within 15 minutes. I do appreciate the work helping me understand the price of my items and being transparent about a large order ahead of mine which could cause a slight delay in my order being prepared. He was also very friendly and did point out I could leave and come back when my food was ready via the drive-through. When it comes to the food itself, I ordered 1 large, stuffed crust pepperoni pizza ($14.99 + tax), it was well worth the price and time. The most noticeable difference is oil residue, it was little to none. Many other place I have ordered from leave a lot of oil on the dough which take away from the overall quality of the product. There was also a great balance of sauce, which added a sweat and savory touch, to the light spice added by the thin and crispy pepperoni toppings. The dough to cheese and topping ratio was perfect, allowing me to favor the flavors and freshly made dough. Each slice was light and fluffy, with the cheese providing a milky texture. Attention management. Your pizza is delicious and your drive thru is super convenient. However, I've noticed some customers assume it's okay to park in drive thru for 15 minutes while their pizza is being cooked. This prevents those who have phoned ahead from efficiently picking up their order and receiving the freshest food possible. I witnessed this causing friction between customers in the drive-through again tonight. I'm sure this could be easily resolved with a friendly sign at your drive-through window stating that the window is for ordering / pick up only and to please wait in the adjacent parking lot while your pizza is being prepared. I placed an order an online that said the order would be ready in 30 mins. When I got to the store an associate told me they had just received the order and the would need another 30 mins. Fine, decided to go across the way to staters and then home for really quick. Ended up going back to the store about 45 mins later. And another associate tells me they hadn't made the order. Actually, he didn't even greet me. He told me the they couldn't take anymore orders they were too busy. I let him know I had already ordered a pizza. Turns out they never made the pizza... straight up offered a refund or I would have to wait another "10 minutes". Immediately I just said let's do a refund. Major disappointment. I was initially looking forward to having another pizza option in Grand Terrace. The food/prices are decent. The main draw is supposed to be the ease and quickness of this place compared to better/more expensive pizza like Mazzullis nearby. I've called in orders here 3 times. Each time when I arrive they have forgotten to put the order in. They say 20 minutes on the phone then act surprised when I show up in 25 and give them my name. They then won't admit making a mistake and blankly tell me it'll be an additional 15-20 minute wait. I then watch them find where the order was written and start quickly making the order. The young guys working aren't apologetic and don't seem to care they messed up. Terrible customer service. It's on me for giving it 3 tries. Should have known better. My sister went here tonight to get us dinner. The customer service was subpar. If you know anything about Grand Terrace there isn't many places to eat. This is the 2nd attempt to eat here. The first time I went they had no wings. I left. This time they had wings but said they couldn't cook a pizza. So my sister ordered us wings. After she ordered the guy told her she could order a pizza if she wanted. Seriously! No. The wings barely tasted like lemon pepper or garlic Parmesan. They were decent. It didn't taste bad - just very thin not a lot of ingredients were used . Little ceasars I would say would be a better choice.
