1 Star Unfortunately, this review is based entirely on the service and ordering experience, as we ended up returning all of our food and did not eat there. I ordered two Cuban sandwiches and one ham & cheese sandwich. I was told they were out of pork for the Cuban sandwiches, so I specifically asked if they could make them the way they normally do, just without the pork since they had none available. Instead, I received three sandwiches on croissant bread -- not what I ordered at all. I even checked the display photo, and what we received looked nothing like the menu item. To make matters worse, one of the sandwiches was completely burnt. At $16 per sandwich, this felt completely unacceptable. I did not order croissant sandwiches, especially not burnt ones. Separately, my sister ordered a chicken and avocado arepa. Before preparing it, the woman kindly came out to ask how she wanted it prepared. My sister simply asked how it normally comes. When onions were mentioned, my sister said she would prefer no onions, only to be told they couldn't do that. We later found out the "chicken" was actually chicken salad mixed with onions -- something that was not made clear on the menu. To her credit, the employee offered to make an alternative with breaded chicken, avocado, and an arepa instead. My sister felt bad because she was clearly trying to accommodate her request, so she accepted. However, once I returned our sandwiches because they were incorrect and one was burnt, my sister decided to return hers as well. We had also ordered two juices and told them we were happy to keep the drinks. At that point, the woman became visibly upset and rudely said: "No... you're not getting anything." She took offense to the return and refused to let us keep the juices we had paid for. I understand food service is hard work, and I appreciate that effort was made to accommodate. But at the end of the day, we were served food we did not order, one item was burnt beyond acceptable, the menu descriptions were misleading, and the response to a reasonable return was unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. Paying $53 for croissants you didn't order and then disputing with me and making me feel ridiculous because they didn't get it and served me different items is absurd. We left and went to Au Bon Pain, where we got three sandwiches for $35 and had a far better experience. Would not return. read more

Quick little health conscious food spot on the campus of Jackson Memorial Hospital. Hospitality by the owner was great. She asked many questions to make sure my wrap was made to my liking. Lots of premade/pre-wrapped options also. Costs are a bit high compared to the complexity of the food here due to the relatively captive audience of healthcare workers, students, and patients. Tasted fresh and smelled delicious once they're putting it together I would like to go back and try their gyro, panini and honestly I would like to try almost everything on their menu. I was craving a salad and this was unfortunately a very disappointing experience. The place was empty when I walked in and I perhaps should've seen this as a sign. The only good thing about this place was the staff.........the woman serving me was super lovely! Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. The salad was incredibly small, there was hardly any chicken at all, the broccoli was past its use-by date, and it turned out to be perhaps one of the most expensive salads I've ever had. While staying at the Hilton Garden Inn found the Walgreens. It is sunny, bright and clean and simple. Staff is friendly and helpful and Can help you in Spanish or English. Can Our salads were freshly made with fresh ingredients and easily adjusted for our preference. It was a cheery atmosphere with pleasant Latin music. The only downside that I can think of is that the prices were not clear on the menu, so if you are concerned about price just ask. I would definitely return. Pronto Salads is a hidden gem in west Miramar! If you are looking for high quality healthy food, this is the place! Where do I even begin to explain how great this place is? First, yes they do serve salads and yes they are delicious, but they serve a wide variety of healthy dishes. I love food in general but try to eat healthy. Having this near me has been a life saver for my very hectic lifestyle. This is a family owned restaurant and the owner gives EXCELLENT service. Seriously she goes above and beyond to give you a special treatment. At one point last year I was restricted to eat a lot of items in her menu and she went out of her way to buy new items for me so I could continue to enjoy her meals. While it may not be perfect, it definitely is a go-to for a good salad. The inside is small. A few tables both inside and out. A few people came in and left because they had no seating available. The menu is hung up above the salad bar area. I decided to create my own salad because nothing else was jumping out at me. They give you six toppings to choose from, what I didn't pay attention to is that meat and cheese and egg were all up charges- only veggies were a part of that option so my $8 salad became over $13. What I found bizarre is that the menu had this large listing of veggies, however, it didn't seem like they had that many options on the actual bar. I felt like I was pacing to figure out what I wanted on my salad. I've got to say though, they give you a huge amount of food. That salad would really feed two people. The veggies were fresh, especially the lettuce. Nothing worse than a salad full of wilted lettuce. They only have cans of soda, bottled water and some random tea/juices. I always yelp first before I go to any restaurant, and I saw the Mediterranean panini was the most loved. Excellent light salad. What was exceptionally noteworthy was the fact that the Romain lettuce pieces I had we're super light. If fluffy could be used to describe salads then I would say this was the tastiest fluffiest salad I ever had. That being said, the reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because I believe they are overpriced. I don't know if it's the market price that has changed or it's just their high price but paying over $12 for a rather simple small salad seems ludicrous. The people who work here are always very nice and willing to accommodate whatever changes you want to make to a food item. I see some people in the comment section complaining about the food pricing and quite frankly I think they are very realistically priced. Quite often even a run to Chick-fil-A or McDonald's will run you about $10 for lunch. So I think honestly the price for getting something fresh and being from a local business is quite reasonable. I literally went with a salad the employee recommended (Greek With Falafel)- not only were they out of one of the toppings that comes on it, but the falafel was not the crispy balls I'm used to; instead it's a soggy sponge-like patty that they quickly warm on the Panini press and chop up. A lot of the greens in my salad were wilted and I'd noticed some of the topping options behind the counter did not look fresh at all. Boy was I disappointed. The ingredients did not look fresh at all (yuck) the tomatoes were sitting in their own liquid and were a soggy mess. Small family business with good intentions , average food and poor customer service . I visited this afternoon for lunch with a coworker . The total for a panini and a small salad was 20.00 . I figured it's the cost of eating healthy , you either pay for it now or later right ? We get to the office to enjoy our meal . The salad was great , as good as you would expect a salad to be . The panini as my coworker put it was TRASH. We've had better . And for it to be a deluxe shrimp panini it was rather blah . The lady didn't ask whether I wanted a small or large but when I paid I assumed it was a large, which is even more upsetting based on the amount of food I was given. I asked for kale as one of my three toppings and I was only given three pieces. Not only that but I also asked for cucumber and she completely forgot.
