First time I've tried this chain. So happy to see new places like this in the Riverlanding area. We need lunch choices! I ordered a lentil kale soup with half an Ancient Grains salad and then added Falafel to qualify for their $10 off first order with the app (fantastic promo!). All was fresh and tasty. It felt healthy lol but tasted very good. The only drawback is I do find their items a bit pricey. Hence, the 4 stars. But service was excellent and the ambiance is tranquil and clean. I'll likely be back!

Again bowl is definitely my favorite! I would call it almost my comfort foood and carrot express gives me just that. Overall though, Carrot express food is delicious! The tuna sweet potato is to die for! The service is always great and if you feel like dining in there, it's the perfect little spot to eat and relax.

Service is fast for both dine in and carry out. Massive portions that leave you full for the rest of the day. Indoor seating, bright lighting. Free 2 hour parking.

Such a great spot for a delicious, guilt free meal! I ordered the Chicken Goddess sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries which were both very fresh and tasty. The restaurant is very clean and the staff were all very friendly. Will definitely be coming back here.

Ok, so it's called a half sandwich, but this thing is big and filling! I never leave there hungry. My go to is the tuna-cado on ciabatta. This bread is delicious! Crispy outside and chewy inside, it's everything you want in a ciabatta. The tuna mixed with avocado is also delicious. Highly recommended. For the salad portion I honestly like them all. The goddess dressing is amazing and not too bad for you. If I had to choose I would pick the La Mexicana as my favorite salad. Another thing I like is that they make good espresso there. It's a perfect pick me up to get through the rest of your work day.

I usually go to the coral Gables location but I was close to this one. Immediately when i walked in i could feel the horrible vibes from the guy who walked away from the register. Then she made the change ‍ How annoying is that... if you never have been to carrot express check the picture so they don't just give you anything. I then had to watch it be made. O. The other hand the carrot cake was amazing! The salmon tarte added had way too much soy sauce

The menu has a great variety of healthy, fresh options, which isn't always easy to find when you're looking for something quick and nutritious. That said, the pricing is definitely something to be aware of. While the quality of the food is high, this is still a fast-casual concept. It's not the spot to grab a quick lunch if you're trying to stay under $20. Wraps easily exceed that price point. During this visit, I ordered the Skinny Green Smoothie, which was very good but came in at $12. My husband had the Poke Bowl Wrap, priced at $23. It did include a Cilantro sauce that complemented the wrap nicely, but drinks are not included, which pushes the total even higher. Another drawback is the counter-service tipping setup. Suggested gratuities start at 18%, which feels steep for an order-at-the-counter experience, especially when that's typically the baseline for full-service dining. I'm giving this location 4 stars because I truly appreciate having healthy, quality options available. However, the high prices and tipping expectations are what ultimately kept this from earning a fifth star

Yelp always comes through for me and I found this gem thanks to the app because Lord knows I've driven by countless times and never looked that way. Black owned, clean and offering healthier options for the community without sacrificing quality and excellent service. Pint is the most welcoming, sweetest employee in there as well as one of the owners onsite. They're offering quite a variety of healthy options bowls, quesadillas, wraps, salads, pasta and burgers as well as nine smoothies and other beverages. I knew I wanted to try one of their smoothies and one of the stir fry bowls so I opted for the chicken and shrimp steam bowl. Sitting on brown rice, the stir fry bowl is filling and flavorful and they're generous with portions especially with the protein, no skimping here. Tender white meat and fresh perfectly cooked shrimp with carrots, broccoli and cauliflower tossed in teriyaki sauce. I started humming and making all kinds of sounds when I took first couple of bites, I'm talking it was finger licking good. The passion envy smoothie made with banana, strawberry, pineapple and mango was the perfect, most refreshing and all natural beverage for the this lunch. Prices are reasonable considering the outstanding service and food. One thing I will also mention, joint is spotless and smells good. I'd definitely come back to try their wraps and a few other smoothies because I left a happy customer. I support small business and especially local black owned businesses that are doing it right and deserve some spotlight and exposure...so stop by, show some love and enjoy great food and company.

We tried the Chicken Shawarma Pita Pocket, and it clearly is better than any other sandwich option. The soft pita wraps around warm, creamy hummus (honestly one of the best in the city), pickled red cabbage, Mediterranean pickles, and that well-seasoned chicken shawarma. The mix of lemon tahini, mango aioli, a touch of spicy relish, caramelized plantains, and roasted red pepper sauce gives it a really layered flavor without feeling heavy. Everything works together, and nothing competes. We also had the Cilantro Falafel Bowl, which comes with a base of hummus and lemon cabbage salad. The falafel with lemon tahini is crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the bowl is packed with roasted cabbage, cherry tomatoes, English cucumbers, chickpeas, pickles, pickled red cabbage, and pita wedges. It's simple, very fresh, and filling in a clean way. One thing that stands out at Happeas is the personalized attention, you actually feel taken care of, and there's a good chance you'll meet the owner while you're there. The vibe is relaxed, not rushed, and they've thought about small details, like having a self-serve water machine with still and sparkling options, which is a nice touch. Overall, Happeas delivers honest, well-made food with flavors that feel intentional but not overdone. Great spot for a quick lunch that doesn't taste like a compromise.

Which can be a little sparse considering it's in a largly touristy area of "Calle Ocho". So I ended up parking illegally for a quick pick up order. Not recommended but it is what it was. It is somewhat of a small shop inside but luckily it wasn't crowded so I got to order right away. The inside is trendy but at the same time minimalistic. Similarly the menu is pretty simplistic and I appreciate that approach. I ended up ordering the Master Chicken Steak, the Corn Cheese, some Chicken Strips and a Mango Smoothie. The chicken strips were ok. Nothing spectacular to report. The Kung Fu sauce was similar to Raising Cane sauce except with a little more kick. The Master Chicken came with a spicy BBQ sauce which I was told was separate but it wasn't. I personally wasn't a fan of the sauce and it being completely coated kind off was a turn off. I heard you could order it without the sauce and maybe next time I'll go that route. The chicken itself on both the strips and Master was good quality. But overall nothing to write home about. The Corn Cheese which was similar to an elote but without the spice was good. I would order that again. But the hands down winner was the Mango Smoothie. It was so refreshing. The boba pearls combined with the Mango and coconut chunks were amazing. I was sad when I finished it and immediately had a craving for more. They have a Strawberry smoothie which I would also like to try. Overall Kung Fu Chicken was ok. I would give it another try just so I can get another smoothie but compared to other chicken strip places I wouldn't say they topped them.

The hardest part about dining here was deciding what I wanted to order. I could have ordered the entire menu it looked so good! Helpful tip... check out the menu and know what you're going to order before you get in line. Otherwise you're going to be pressured to order at the front of the line. When you walk in, you place your order and pay for it and take a table number. You need to find your own table. Our service was pretty quick, despite how busy the restaurant was. My cold brew was very good and a nice start to the meal. Our guacamole came next and it was nicely styled with pomegranate, cheese and cilantro on top. Yum!
