    Kale Salad

Happea's made me happea! (I had to) Been wanting to try this place for a while but never got the chance. Today, I was walking to meet some friends and I passed by it and I was determined to try it. I got the kale salad and added tomato and grilled chicken. So delicious and fresh. The chicken was well cooked and the kale had the right amount of crispness. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service was wonderful and the decor is cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Love the summery colors. Will for sure be back to try other things on the menu

Happea's is a healthy fast food option in Brickell located on S Miami Ave near Tap and The Vue. This location offers many quick food options that are both healthy and tasty! The counter is self service which allows for a seamless order! They offer pita pockets and bowls ranging from vegan, vegetarian, and meat options. The service is always great and the food is made quickly! The bowls are compostable and they have a water station to help yourself! [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's ample seating both inside and outside and gives a laid back feel, but I suggest coming early to beat the lunch traffic![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Chicken bowl, pita, and oven roasted egg plant side

I was heading to another local Miami restaurant but passed Happea's and thought this would hit the spot-and it did. I wanted compare it Cava but that just CAN'T compare. I took a chance and tried the oven roasted eggplant tahini side bowl. It had a creamy savory flavor. Additionally the pita--omg-- the PITA, it was like biting into a warm fluffy cloud! Definitely get the pita! Additionally my chicken bowl tasted amazing and so fresh. The hummus that came with it paired amazingly and had a perfectly creamy texture. The sweet potatoes also added a nice touch of soft creamy sweetness to the dish. Side note: NO PLASTIC dining utensils or plates were served. This was refreshing if you are mindful of avoiding plastic with the growing research coming out about microplastics. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bowls and cups were so aesthetic all metal (?) gold and silver.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely give Happea's a try if you want some fresh health conscious delicious tasting Mediterranean.

I love how the food is always so fresh here, even the hummus is made to order. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I dine here solo a couple times a week, perfect little quiet spot to get a little work done and feel like I've done something good for my body.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Nowhere else are you attended to so well, they ask you as soon as you walk in if you've been there before and offer assistance with the point of sale. I always feel appreciated here as a customer as well.

So I have been seeing Happea's all over IG, and finally got a chance to try it at an workout I went to at Studio Three. One bite of the Sabich - which is a lemon cabbage salad, roasted eggplant, and a medium boiled egg and I was already hooked. Fast forward to one week later, and I had to order Happea's again. I opted for the Chicken Power Bowl which comes with roasted mushrooms caramelized onions, roasted sweet potato, pickled red cabbage and pita. THe base is quinoa, but as I was obsessed with Sabich I subbed it for the quinoa. It also comes with grilled chicken and hummus. The hummus can be subbed, but as it says on the order it would be a BIG MISTAKE. The hummus is probably one of the best I've had in a while, and with all those veggies and pita it is absolutely divine. There is no lack of bowl / sandwich options in Miami, but one thing that stood out to me about Happea's is how delicious, authentic and homemade everything tasted. You can tell the folks here take pride in their food - it's colorful, filled with flavor, and most importantly a great value for the portion size. I cannot wait to eat my way through this menu. Will be hard for me to not order the Sabich, but there are so many mezze's, pockets, bowls and salads to choose from. Last but very much importantly not least - YOU NEED to get the Spicy Relish. They have a bunch of different sauces made in house, but this spicy relish is ELITE! I do not know what is in it, but as someone who loves spice and acidity this vinegary spicy goodness is just too wonderful not to add to everything. Can't wait to try more Happea's.

The cilantro falafel pocket was excellent. The falafel was freshly made and quite good. For a healthy option I felt like I was eating a high class meal. The only issues I had were the pocket was small for the price and it took over 30 minutes to make despite the restaurant not being busy (only 3 other customers). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Otherwise it's in the heart of Brickell and a great lunch option.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Has cute decorations and covered outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would definitely come back (as long as the service is a little quicker!)

Delicious first lunch in Miami! I got the lunch special, a chicken shawarma pita pocket (half) and a side (I got the marinated beets) and it was the perfect size and great price. The beets were delicious and so was the shawarma. The pita was warm and doughy, and the whole meal was 5/5 to me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was quick, the space is gorg, and it was the perfect temp to sit outside without sweating![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm hooked, I wish they had this in Tampa!

Chicken Shawarma Bowl.... Could be better and bigger

Was so excited to try this place and wanted to love it but I ordered on Uber eats and the portion is so small for the price. 25$ for a bowl of chicken shawarma with hummus? The bowl was half the size of the bowl I get at naked farmer for 20$, the chicken was super dry and flavorless, I put salt on the hummus and it still barely had flavor, it was healthy but a bit underwhelming....

Absolutely the best place. Healthy food cooked like in your mom's kitchen. The only thing I can suggest add a happy hour! All places around you have one. And please bring back avocado toast. It was the best

Quick stop for lunch while visiting Miami. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You Order at the counter, they have both outdoor & indoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I rarely eat Mediterranean food but my hubby does. I found something to eat - crispy chicken schnitzel. It was very good! Served fast, hot & fresh. I don't have much to compare it to but I enjoyed!

This place is so consistently good. I'm obsessed with everything on the menu and would eat happeas for every meal if I could. The pitas are so soft, veggies so fresh, and meat and other fillings so flavorful. The fries are tasty and crunchy but soft. The happeas sauce is like a better spicy mayo. Service quick and nice too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance for eating in is very nice for a fast casual place[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] but I usually order through uber eats and the food still stays good. Live love happeas.

    Chicken shawarma pita
    Meg C.

Healthy, flavorful chicken shawarma pita in a nice, fast casual setting. You order at a kiosk and grab a pager, so most of the setup is self-serve. They have outdoor seating and a water machine, which was a plus for me. It took a bit longer than I was expecting to get our food given there was only one other customer there, but the pita was worth it. The textures and flavors exceeded my expectations - I really liked the crunchy pickles and beets, and the plantain really balanced out the acidity and spice - wish there was more than one in the pita. I was impressed with how tasty and fluffy the pita itself was, and it held up well to all the toppings and sauces. They smartly put greens at the bottom to prevent it from getting too soggy. Solid spot for a quick, healthy, cheaper mediterranean meal in Miami.

    Chicken Shawarma Pocket
    Alison C.

Absolutely fabulous food!! I got the chicken shawarma pocket after reading all the recommendations on yelp, and it did not disappoint. The pita was soft and warm. The chicken shawarma was brilliantly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The hummus was light and flavorful, absolutely loved the pickled cabbage and relish, and there was a plantain on there too which added a touch of sweet flavor. I so wish there was a Happea's on the east coast of florida toward St Pete as I'm over there much more, but when I'm in Miami again I will definitely be making another stop back here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is clean, and they have tables outside which is great for people watching.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

And so I have now visited three times. Or I should say two since one was a delivery order. This is a rather long review so in case you don't wanna read the whole thing, here's the summary. This place is great. Food is great. Service is great. Restaurant is beautiful. Done. Now everybody else, please read on. I will start with the delivery order. I had a desire for falafel for lunch and found the excellent reviews of this particular restaurant and figured I would give it a try. Did the order through DoorDash and received it much quicker than expected. The falafel was exceptional. Shaped a little bit strangely because they overloaded the scooper to give you more, it was expertly seasoned, freshly made, and delicious. Definitely within my top three in Miami and being right near my home will sit at number one on my list. The fact that they were able to get the order out to DoorDash and arrive at my home still warm, gets it extra points. But the delicious flavor, crunchy on the outside soft on the inside, and even a delightful aroma was really overwhelming. Paid for six got seven! Recently paid for five elsewhere and got four. Again extra points for a wonderful portion. But then look at what is surrounding it. Excellent smoky flavored eggplant. Delicious lentils and rice. Exceptional hummus. Fresh pita. Not a fan of tabouli to begin with so I won't comment except to say it was as good as it gets. Overall, I loved everything on the plate and loved everything about it. Came here for lunch one day with my wife. She had a falafel sandwich which I didn't take note of as I should have because I was so overwhelmed by my delicious lamb Shawarma platter. Again with all the best sides and the baba ghanoush was as good as any I've ever had. But the lamb was so moist and savory and tasty. I've gotta say that their attention to flavor is evident in everything that they serve. And then my other visit. This one was breakfast. Boarded my puppy last night so that my wife and I could have a romantic evening out for her birthday and picked her up this morning and wanted to take her for breakfast. Was thrilled to see that pesto Café and Grill as outside seating. I ordered the lox omelette and a side of bacon. I had coffee and they brought her a nice bowl of water. It does not come with a bagel so there is an up charge which I found mildly annoying but I wanted to try the full experience so I ordered anyway. It also comes with hashbrowns, which I wasn't particularly interested in, but it came with the meal. They make their lox omelette with onions and capers, and I noticed some green onions as well. They also use cream cheese, which I'm not generally a fan of. Since moving to Miami, I see way too much cream cheese being used in way too many ways. What is with this Miami obsession with cream cheese? Some places even put it in my sushi. Blasphemy. Oh but that's not part of this review perfect; for this review I am going to reverse everything I isually say about cream cheese because the flavorful way that they blend this imtoy the omelette as a condiment and not something that overpowers the other flavors was spectacular. I could not enjoy it more. The bacon was a huge order and was cooked perfectly. I hate sloppy greasy bacon. It was as if they knew exactly how I would want it served. Or maybe they just have good taste and serve it like how I like it. My waitress, Kayla was exceptional as well. But the service did not end there. Multiple people from inside came out periodically to make sure that I was happy outside and had everything I needed; that my coffee was full, and my water glass was filled and my table was cleared to unused dishes. They even made sure my dog had water and kept an eye on her water bowl so that it did not get too empty. Who does this? I'll tell you, they do. Eat here I know you will get great food made from the best ingredients and cooked perfectly and served treating you like they you as a customer. Even after I paid, they continued to come outside and make sure I didn't need anything else and fill my coffee without pushing me to leave and allowing me to enjoy my wonderful breakfast. And then to relax and enjoy the beautiful day out in front of their restaurant and be pampered. I didn't just feel like they cared, I realized that they really do. I will be back. Often. I will order from DoorDash from here. Often. And I will recognizing this on social media and recommend it to everyone I know. Often. Because you do not come across a place like this very often.

It's located right across the road from campus, making it an easy win for students or anyone in Sweetwater looking for a reliable, healthy-ish meal. The interior is pretty standard--a nondescript, counter-service setup designed for efficiency. However, the outdoor seating area is where this place really shines. It is well-shaded and shielded from the Florida sun, creating an inviting space whether you're meeting up with friends or need a spot to pop open the laptop and get some work done. The amount of salmon provided was quite plentiful and the toppings are quite fresh as well, making the overall sandwich very flavorful. And lastly the size of the sandwich very much justifies the price in my opinion. The service is friendly and fast, considering I had to take my sandwich to-go. The baguette was fresh with good flour flavor and crusty crunch. There is no spread or sauce on the sandwiches because they give you a bottle of garlic cilantro and dijon vinaigrette to pour onto your sandwich as you eat it. I don't know if something was wrong with my taste buds but I honestly didn't taste much of a difference with the garlic cilantro and dijon vinaigrette besides the vinaigrette being, well, more acidic. I couldn't have told you what was in the garlic cilantro was if I didn't know what kind of sauce it was. Otherwise, the sandwich clearly had fresh ingredients and was lovely to eat with several pours of the sauces. It does make me think that someone may not like the sauces, so it would help to have a couple more sauce choices if the sandwiches are not dressed. They nonetheless know a quality sandwich with bread that the French would find acceptable. I'd return to try a different sandwich if I'm in the area!

I called back, spoke to Dennis again, and placed my order for the turkey burger (they sell out fast and I got the last one for the day) with provolone cheese (upon his recommendation) with a green side salad. the total wasn't enough for the $10 minimum, but Dennis said 'don't worry'....he then went on to explain that they would be closed for the next three days (weekend & holiday) and would I like him to throw in a cookie!? I couldn't decide between peanut butter and oatmeal so (nice!) he gave me one of each. the wait wasn't long but I was pretty eager to finally try this place. I grabbed the bag, sat at my desk, and got ready to chow when I realized there was no side salad (but the cookies were there). I called Dennis to let him know and told him not to worry, I didn't want the delivery guy coming back just for that. Dennis was gracious enough to offer a discount next time I ordered as long as I reminded him. Satisfied with the effort and courtesy he showed, I let it go with no issue and settled down to eat. now, I know delivery can never be compared to an in-house meal, but I must say I was a bit let down by the quality. the handmade turkey burgers, although somewhat seasoned and made with peppers inside the patty, was a bit on the bland side, a little dry and overcooked, and in no way remarkable. the cookies on the other hand were very tasty and delicious - although I got 2 peanut butter and no oatmeal :( despite the lackluster first experience, I will definitely try this place again. somehow I feel that my experience may have been a fluke due to bad timing (friday after lunch-rush before a 3-day holiday weekend). I hope this was a one time deal and have faith that they will redeem themselves given another chance...to be continued!

Plenty of seating inside but always usually busy. Everything is clean for the most part tables are constantly being cleared for new customers.

Part of our group showed up about 8-10 after us and was serviced their hot food before me and my wife. She got a wrap and I ordered a burger. After wait and see other customers and the rest of our group of 16 people get their food. I finally asked where our food was. We were told they were waiting for the burger to defrost. Defrost? Really even so other people in our group got burgers and before me. I waited a little longer and was finally over it. I just wanted my money back. They then brought a burger and it was not even the right burger order. Plus they had not even prepared my wife's chicken wrap yet. The outside seating is nice and food maybe good but the service is horrible. They never apologized for it just kept making excuses.
