Their flight blocks are cute and fun and made out to resemble a little train cart. They have 9 taps for beer and have quite the selection. Currently they have 'good grief charlie' a brown ale and 'wheat in the knees' which were all amazing. They have a tiny kitchen with a small but heart menu of salads, chilli cheese dogs and flatbreads (and a few other things). The staff are absolutely amazing, knowledgeable and will do anything for you, as someone who prefers a root beer to beer - they went out of their way to get me a sprite (which blew my mind). My partner absolutely enjoyed this lovely time. They also have a few games to play! Highly recommend this little brewery, it's small but it is mighty delicious.

Love this place!…read more Been going since it opened last December and it's always a great experience. Follow them on Facebook and Twitter and I think Instagram too - so you know their hours, what's new on tap, what's on the guest taps (buy local!). Trivia night #2 was a success! We ordered pizza this time from Rocky Lake Pizza across the street and omg that was the perfect meal paired with the perfect Off Track brew. I had the Sessional IPA on tap 8 (I forgot the name) and it was soooo tasty that I had two (not like me). The rest of my party went for the Damn Skippy (peanut butter mmmmm - you have to try it). Flights are a way to sample several brews - usually I do that. Love the merch! Normally, I don't buy this stuff from places but I have several items already and I'm most definitely getting the zip up hoodie next time. Lots more I can say, like... Dog friendly establishment. Projector for watching "the sports". Clean. Friendly faces - who will explain the various brews on tap. No kitchen - but you can bring your food there - ask the guys, they'll be happy to help.

The Hunky dory is a pale ale made with some interesting stuff like citrus zest and green tea? What? But it works light fresh at 5%. Then they have the Temptation red mmmmm a rich yet very drinkable red beer they say on the bottle it is like a sultry jazz singer in my glass. I did not see her because I sucked all the beer straight out of the bottle. Temptation rings in at 6% yum. Now may I introduce to you a real heavy weight mans man kind of beer whatever that means? I hear people say that kind of thing all the time? The vicars cross double IPA it is 8.5% yet even my wife said "I like it" then I told her that is an 8.5% and she seemed surprised. This double IPA has punch but you do not really notice it as much as you would expect at this % and style of beer. The only thing I did notice was on the double IPA bottles which are sold in the 650 ML size is that the fill lines are really all over the place. I got one where the fill is at the bottom of the bottle neck and one near the top and some are in the middle of the bottle neck where you would expect it. Here are some places I found this beer. It was a bit of a hunt so this info may help. Call ahead before heading out to get some if you can to make sure they have it in stock. NSLC Barrington has Hunky dory in a 6 pack $12.99 Bishops cellar has Hunky dory $13.00 and temptation red $13.50 in the 6 pack Boxing rock booth at the seaport Market on Saturday has the Vicars Cross in 650 ml bottles $5.00 + growlers and tastings all three beers.

Quality/Quantity - A slow welcome, but once we all got warmed up, it was an amazing visit. It helped that I have been drinking the whole day today, lol. Sampled ALL the IPAs, and then ordered a few. Settled for the Blur Hazy IPA or two, lol. Food is available, but I am on a liquid diet today. Ambiance - Small local brewery. Almost no customers, so I got full attention. Indoor and outdoor seating. 3 clean unisex toilets. Open 7 days a week. Had the longest and best business hours of all the breweries we visited! Thank you. Just not enough day drinkers or Happy Hour drinkers in this part of Canada, lol. Service - 6 stars. Not sure if he was a manager or owner...? Or just a very passionate team member. Also, it was a one person army. Not sure if there were people in the back or kitchen...? Amazingly friendly after we got settled in. He tried really hard to find my "perfect" beer; he just kept bringing me samples. See pictures. Price - $9 CAD a pint + tax and tip; $15 USD + tip. (2 pints). Expensive for Canada prices, but worth it!!! Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success.

The backyard burgers with bacon and brioche bun were delicious and the roasted veggie sandwich was a hit. The tofu black bean spread was so good on it. The war fries comes with 3 different sauces and they're possibly twice fried because they're really crispy. We also tried the GOODMORE GOOD POUR kombucha and the NEXT PHAZE hazy IPA. Both were awesome. The hops in the Hazy IPA were unusual and we really liked it. The Kombucha tasted like elderflowers to me. I definitely recommend visiting this place especially if you're here for a day's stopover on a cruise. It's less than a 15 minute walk from the Citadel.

He was so patient, a GREAT ambassador of the brand. Owner Suggestion - Congrats on your success since 1997 with our 4+ locations and since 2013 with this location. I am so glad that John's (the founder) first beer was the ESB which was the one I got.

After a couple of rounds, Henry the (mis)manager refused me service, so a friend offered me his beer, which I took a sip from. Henry's colleague, this miserable and rude woman, then proceeded to shout and scream like an immature child at me - a customer - how I'm making them unsafe at work and demanding that I leave the premises. Of course I leave, who enjoys being screamed at? A few minutes later I'm sitting outside the venue on the street and I'm on the phone to my friend, still at the bar, asking when he'll leave, when Henry comes out to harass me, accusing me of screaming - funny, his idiot colleague just did that to me, yet it's okay if she behaves that way. Isn't that funny? Refusing service is part of your job. Screaming and abuse is not. If you are that incompetent at a simple task and need to resort to shouting to solve a problem, you are clearly in the wrong job. The venue was practically empty, even on Sunday afternoon, which is highly telling of the quality of staff. An extremely disappointing and upsetting experience, Henry and his idiot colleague are an embarrassment to the brewing label and the craft, as a whole.
