Don't get me wrong, the home in phoenix was super cute. BUT when it's 90 degrees outside and the…read morehouse is hotter than it is out there, it's not worth the money. I think maybe air bnbs in Arizona should require AC? Idk if that's just me. She treated our group like we didn't know how to operate a very simple thermostat. So much that it took her hours of telling us how to use it, that it was too late for a technician to come. It was so hot, we had to be outside. We had 10 people. 1 was pregnant, and 4 more of us were not drinking. She tried to charge $1,000 for a noise complaint that was never made. Which she says that her neighbor took "multiple videos and photos" of our "house party" of girls in the pool with bikinis on! She never sent the actual video that we can listen to. Just a screenshot. But that pretty creepy of the neighbor to take videos of girls in the pool. So maybe don't use the pool if you stay at her house in phoenix. . Besides that, going back to the house being 86 DEGREES and her not caring or being apologetic at all. It was finally fixed 6:30 pm on Saturday, but it probably took until 8pm to cool from 86 degrees to 73. Not once were we rude to her. We could've been under these circumstances. Sorry your ego is fragile and you're unable to take constructive criticism. A woman of your age, I would expect a bit more professionalism and maturity. House is cute tho! Good job decorating! PS. We don't need your money. Your house with no ac just wasn't worth it. But thanks for the feedback. A budget in or hostel would've probably had better service and AC. This isn't "retaliation" for money. Just standing up for my friends and letting everyone know you're a pathological liar when we have every screen shot and video proof of everything.

Ellie is the most unprofessional business owner I have ever come in contact with. The beginning of…read moreour stay was okay, not great, but okay. We arrived in late April to a home in Phoenix Arizona that had no working AC. The issue was brought up to Ellie at around 6pm on a Friday. It wasn't until 6:30pm on SATURDAY that we got AC. She argued back and forth for the first two hours asking us the same question "Did you try adjusting the AC?" We spent 60% of our stay (yes, 60%) with no air conditioning. After asking for some sort of partial refund or even FANS, we were not given either. After spending close to $2000 for a two night stay, we requested a partial refund which was denied immediately. Ellie then starts to send VERY unprofessional messages to our group after we left an HOENST review. She lies to Airbnb stating that we were comfortable in the home and that it "wasn't that hot" Try setting your house to 86° in the middle of the day in Arizona and tell me how comfortable you are Ellie. She then writes a review stating that we had a "large shouting party after hours". She was aware this was a bachelorette party, we were all inside by 9:45pm (Quiet hours is 10pm) and we didn't even fill the max occupancy of the home. After we requested a refund, Ellie decides to request $1000 in damages for being noisy BEFORE QUIET HOURS and lies and states it was after hours. I'm sorry but paying for a home we couldn't use for 60% of our stay Is not okay. I hope you learn some hospitality and customer service skills or this business isn't going to make it very far.

I see the other Yelp reviews, and I would tell anyone looking at this rental to look at Airbnb and VRBO reviews, and would also add my experience has been stellar, the location and value are second to none, and the owners are responsive and amazing. Wonderful place, people, I couldn't recommend more!!

I also had a very similar experience with this SCAMMER BRUCE…read more I used HomeAway and booked an 8 bedroom, 6 bathroom property in Scottsdale marketed as the "Delcoa Home" in February 2017. The booking is for November 2017 (next week). About a month after booking Bruce emails and asks me if i can take another home called the "City Lights" home - he states it is an upgrade and he will do it for free. I tell him "no I need an 8 bedroom house." Then 3 days ago (we are scheduled to leave for our trip, 14 adults, next week); I email Bruce because his "company" called RENTAL GUEST sends me a new rental contract to sign for the "City Lights" property. I then ask Bruce why I am receiving this new rental contract since I already booked the Delcoa home and told him the 6 bedroom City Lights property would not work for us. Bruce then tells me it is an upgrade and that Home Away is 'forcing owners out of business." He gives me this long bullshit story. Also, he tells me he cannot accept my Damage Deposit by credit card and needs me to wire $800 to his bank account. I tell him I have never had to pay a damage deposit other than through Home Away and I refuse to wire him money. I also tell him the "City Lights" house is NOT going to work for us and I want a refund. Bruce calls back and offers me pool heating for free, then a $500 discount, then $1000 discount, then $2,000 discount. I tell Bruce even free, the house doesn't work for us and I no longer trust him. He tells me he will process a refund. It is now 3 days later and he is refusing to process a refund. He keeps arguing that one of my messages gave him approval of the change, but there is no rental agreement signed and there are NUMEROUS messages indicating that the "City Lights" house won't work for me. He is a SCAMMER. BEWARE OF ANYONE NAMED BRUCE TRYING TO RENT VACATION PROPERTIES IN ARIZONA. HE WILL PULL A BAIT AND SWITCH AND TRY TO GET YOU TO ACCEPT A PROPERTY THAT YOU NEVER SIGNED UP TO RENT. HE WILL TRY TO GET YOU TO SIGN A RENTAL AGREEMENT OR HE WILL TWIST YOUR WORDS INTO PERCEIVED ACCEPTANCE OF THE CHANGE. HE WILL ALSO TRY TO GET YOU TO WIRE FUNDS FOR A DAMAGE DEPOSIT. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

This Condo is beautiful but the HOA in this community is sad and not handicap friendly. Was here…read morerecently and they called a tow truck to tow my car out the handicap spot. My passenger was handicapped and when even had a handicap sign. Watched an owner of one of the units also get his car towed in a spot that didn't say "No parking". The HOA I'm assuming is teaming up with the Tow company and gets a cut out of it. Manager seemed nice when I met her but I guess she's the one who called the tow trucks and made the complaints

The manager (Nicholas I believe) seems very selective about who he is friendly too. He's definitely not a fan of dogs, and I would be out walking mine and he wouldn't even crack a smile. The most ANNOYING thing was the lack of gate codes. Initially there were a couple for the residents to have and then they would always eliminate them without notice. They said too many people were getting the codes.... Well it sucks whenever my boyfriend would come over on his own while I was at work, would have to call my phone for me to buzz him in. If I wasn't near my phone he would be outside the gate stuck for a countless amount of time. He lived there too! Because he didn't have a gate clicker half the time he couldn't enter. This seemed ridiculous to me. Have a gate code for residents only. I've never heard of another complex not doing this. Don't get me started on the nightmare that is having food delivered to your house because of it.... Overall the grounds are nice and for the most part well kept. It's in a great area off Tatum & Cactus with tons of restaurants and bars near by. I moved to Nebraska, but if I ever moved back I would probably stick with the same area, but don't know if I would be back to this complex.
