Being a woman I have struggled between being heard, my feminine image and communicating with a person who had no idea or cares what is important to me when it comes to image and function as a below the knee amputee. I finally found my place. Clint, Kevin and Cruz have surpassed even my expectation. I went from having. I walked in for my appointment and there was only one person at the front desk. She was typing a document. I stood there 2 minutes before she even acknowledged me as she continued to type. I know she saw me. Continuing typing without looking up or at me, Sandra rudely said I will be with you in a minute. Two more minutes went by as she typed away then she asked me how could she help me. I responded. I have a 2 o'clock appointment. When I gave her my name she told me to have a seat in one of the rooms. Her dryness almost seems like she's mad at the world or she is angry about something that is beyond her control, but she likes to push it off on other people. If this is the face of the company that she wants them to see, then I will take my business somewhere else. I almost thought it was because of race. But I don't pull that card because not all things relate to that. She is just an angry prude. On a more positive note, Carla and some of the other staff are absolutely amazing! They lighten the atmosphere so much. The positive energy they exhibit goes without saying that it makes for a great experience.

Came back on Friday and they tried to give me an abduction pillow without a sling and when I told them that my prescription specifically said "NO ABDUCTION" the orthotisist acted like that WAS the sling. The Orthotisist straight up lied to me and told me that that was the sling he ordered even though it was not anything like the picture he showed me on Monday. I called him out on it. I traveled from Placerville area (50 mins away) TWICE just for them to send me to a different location. They sent me 35 minutes even farther away from home to the Roseville hanger where they "actually carry the slings". GMAFB. Thanks for wasting my time and having me suffer 4 days longer than had they sent me to Roseville on Monday!!!!

Mom got two new bras, and left happy. I talked to Mom today and she said, "I can't believe I've been wearing that bra all this time! The new one is so comfortable and I look so much better!" The pediatrician recommended pacific medical. From start to finish, we had a very positive experience. We worked primarily with Jo; she is the kindest, most caring, most patient professional to work with. She explained things, was comforting, welcoming and made sure we were on the same page as we moved forward. She was always genuinely happy to see us and excited to see progress. We consider ourselves very lucky to have been in her care. Looking back, I wish I had not felt so anxious and worried about the process, yet, Jo respected my initial hesitations and waited for me to be ready. We went over all the information so many times and she was so supportive and gentle. I really miss our visits and wish she were someone we had to see more often! For parents who are scared, hesitant, nervous, think their baby will be absolutely miserable, this is for you - We display my daughter's helmet in her room and she is always reaching for it and wanting to put it back on her head - go figure! I'm convinced that she associates the helmet with comfort and all the positive experiences she had with Jo along the way. It is not as bad as you anticipate especially when you have this kind of support along the way. The fitting was smooth, and Jo ensured our baby was comfortable every step of the way. We also appreciated the regular check-ins and adjustments to make sure everything was progressing perfectly. Jo accommodated us with our tricky schedule and made everything so easy. Even when we visited family for a few weeks across the country, Jo was in touch, even did some research for us in case something needed adjusting and assured us that we could enjoy a vacation and still have the treatment consistent. Most importantly, we've seen wonderful results and couldn't be happier. The reason for our encounter was, I ended up being referred to him as an emergency, due to a failed Lumbar Laminectomy 7 months prior. Fast forward 20 years later (now) I've done okay, but we're at a crossroads of having to go back to surgery again. I'm very grateful for him and the work he had done. The recovery went well and I couldn't have been more grateful. The office staff were very helpful and was always very friendly and caring.

I was placed on hold and by the time we were in line at the office (3:07), I was still holding on the phone. The waiting room was packed with people, so it's doubtful that they were running on time. So, I checked in with the rude, grumpy front counter lady at 3:08, who barked "you're late, so you'll need to reschedule". Seriously?! No thanks!

Yet they kept me on the schedule and kept sending me text messages confirming no changes to the appointment the night prior. The lady behind the window was rude, unapologetic and didn't take accountability for wasted time and efforts. She insisted they called and left a message 2 days before the appointment. I verified they had the correct cell number, but my cell has zero missed call from Hanger Clinic and no voicemail. The lady in charge of appointment scheduling and Dan (supervisor) didn't apologize and pointed and blamed others....They both displayed a lack of respect, empathy and subpar management skills.

I tried it and it was just right. I asked if Nordstrom sold Shapeware and she said oh yeah just go straight across. We have it in lingerie. There I met the excellent Lindsey who was so kind and did not make me feel weird when I asked a ton of noob questions about Shapeware. She was signing off for the day, but handed me off to Victoria. I ended up with the right Shapeware that went seamlessly under my new cocktail dress. I am so delighted that I found what I needed at the very last minute and that Nordstrom had the right people in the right place to help me. I'm leaving my regular department store and making Nordstrom my first choice now.
