Once again, Dr. Quach save my life. I moved up north and, for the last 2 years, had this on and off again gum/tooth irritation. No one could find out why, nor can they help me. I just couldn't dealt with it anymore. Since I get my tax done down in San Jose, I called and asked if I could get in. Lucky me, they can put me in. Dr. Quach knew exactly what was wrong. She did her magic, and immediately, my pain started to reduce. She adjusted my crown, which I got done 2 years ago due to one expertise Dr up where I lived. She cleaned around that tooth and gum area. That's all! For 2 years and it just took her 15 minutes. I am so grateful for her passionate work. Thank you! The worst dental office I've ever been to. I had my teeth cleaning done here over a year ago but never had a chance to write them a review. I did my teeth cleaning here late afternoon. And I feel like everybody was exhausted to do their job properly. This dentist just floss my teeth and did a quick scrape on my teeth, rinse and done. I'm terrible with names so I asked what her name is and she answered "My name is on the door". Sorry, my bad I didn't pay attention that your name is posted on the door. I've had two crowns done and the bridge worse ever I can't bite down on my left side my right side I can't eat nothing cold now not gonna say I had perfect teeth but I was able to bite down on ice cream with no problem before now I can't even eat cold stuff without my teeth bothering me, this lady super nice sweet but I'm not coming back here ever again my teeth are pretty messed up now read more

Bad service. I have a crown done at Protech dental care at Berryessa office on November 2020. I am not happy as the result still not fix. It was done before Thanksgiving week so I have to come back after the holiday-so about 2 weeks without eating comfortably because I'm wearing a temporary crown. I mainly eat/chew on my right side but due to the circumstances I chew food most of the time on my left now. Later I complained about sensitivity, I ask her why the sensitivity is still there, the doctor said don't worry it will go away in couple of days cause she just put on the new crown therefore it take sometimes to get adjust. I said ok I wait and since is Covid-19 I didn't wanted to check with the doctor until in April when her office called me to schedule for cleaning appointment date. There's still sensitive in the bottom of my teeth, I still feels sore when I rinse with cold water, when I eat hot food, or when I'm breathing the air coming in, there is a slight soreness or sensitivity that I felt occasionally. I try to explained to the doctor but she turns out not concern or really listen to my issue. I have to come in again for her to take the x-ray. She using excuses that I grinding my teeth during sleeping, therefore it cause friction to my new crown teeth. She have it grind lower for she said she made the crown a bit high thus she fix it, it should be fine she said. So I trust what she said, in April I come back for cleaning service I complained again about my crown that is still sensitive and I'm really annoyed for months because I have to eat on my left side most of the time that it wears me out. I don't enjoy eating on my right side due to the sensitivity is still there. The doctor doesn't show any sympathy of my pain or willing to fix my problem. Instead she blame on me the reason I still have this sensitivity due to the friction that cause it which I was totally don't know or even aware of. This is never happened to me before. I didn't even know that I have that habit of grinding my teeth when I sleep, that is such a bizarrely lame excuse I have ever heard. I have crown done at other places before and I don't have that problem. I can't argue with her, she insisted strongly that is the cause and she could not do anything about it. I was told not to worry, the sensitivity will go away eventually. Since November, 2020 until now, May 2021 the soreness is still there and I can feel the sensitivity when I scratch the bottom of my teeth with my nail. It's been about 6 months long and the sensitivity of my teeth is still there and I cannot ask them to fix it for me. I have another teeth that needed to be done also, but I don't I want to go to her anymore. It is a terrible service. She doesn't listen to her patient concern, she is not willing to fix the issue, she is not even sympathize with the patient. She is not even taking her time to do it well. I'm very disappointed. Not a good dentist office to go to. I never recommended to anyone. read more

Honestly, the first few times I went to this dentist it was 'pleasant' but then all hell broke when they did a root canal that went WRONG! It all started with a simple filling that caused major pain (why? whatever), they put me on meds that didn't help and then they gave me another prescription that was also no help. A week later I needed to get a root canal which was done rather quickly but I had way too much pain the next couple of days. I asked to be seen and they wouldn't help me much except refer me to a specialist. The specialist did her thing and said that the root canal procedure had caused a 'hair line fracture' caused by them, which also had caused a huge absess on my lower gum (had to go to the ER because half my face was numb & swollen). Once at the ER they had to cut my gum to drain it, there goes another $100. Maybe this was just a routine gone bad but I'm afraid to go back and refuse to have them touch my teeth. I'm still seeking another dentist to continue the work that was left undone by them. They are nice people but I won't be returning here anytime soon. read more

I had only been to 3 other dentists in my whole life, one who retired, one who was a joke, then my last one since I was under my family's insurance. My last dentist charged the most and didn't always do the best job, There were many times I had to go back to get some things taken care of that should have been done right, also they always recommended the most expensive treatments rather than most effective. Protec was a ref feral by a family member of mine, I was a bit hesitant to go there since berryessa is a bit far from my house but it is every bit worth the drive. They are always friendly and I feel like I am at home when I am there, Their stuff is clean and I no reason to doubt that it isn't. The dentist is very nice, she was comforting during the worst times of pain, Everytime I'm in here I am in and out in good time. The only thing that can make this place better is if it was closer to my house. I dont plan on changing dentists anytime soon and will recommend this place. They do work with many insurances and also if you dont they can take care of you. read more

I was really sad to leave my old dentist (dental plan changed with new job). Like damn, we even play tennis together and everything. So moving on to a new dentist, I wooking at the directory of what my HMO allowed, it was literally Russian roulette. No joke. Pro-Tech was the most normal sounding dental establishment so here I went. Dr. Quach is cool, definitely knows her stuff. Her staff is incredible. Annie cleaned the hell out of my mouth. My god, I've never had a teeth cleaning that took an hour before. Ever. Alyssa at the front who handles all the calls and admin is the freakin coolest person ever. She is efficient and careful and more flexible in her hours than most dentists. This is the best service I got compared to other dentists before. My appointment schedule was always on-time so I don't have to wait. I would refer this office to my friends & family. if only i could give no stars! i had an infection of my wisdom tooth that could not be extracted till 3 days later and when i asked if i could get something 2 ease the pain... i had 2 argue w dr quach about over the counter meds not working. so she tells me she cant write a narcotic prescription 4 me and 2 have the pharmacist call her so she could put it in over the phone. well pharmacies dont do that and im now aware that she was aware of that!! meaning she gave me the run around and to top if off i was in pain.. i would absolutely not recommend dr quach. she will send u away in pain all because she doesn't think u need narcotics because "they're bad" read more

I choose this dental as this is close to my house. Honestly, I think they always care about $$$$ not their patient. I had deep cleaning done by a dental high gene; I assumed it supposed to be done by dentist or specialist. I felt she simply just do a routine clean not deep clean and within about 1 hour and it cost me $2K. I come to another dentist and found out that I need another deep clean within only a year (insurance allows 1 time per 2 years). My current dentist think that I never had any deep clean done. Oh Well, I'm so glad that I no longer go with Pro Tech Dental Care. Their office is clean but they don't do good jobs. Especially they hired dental high gene to do the work and charge same rate as specialist. so UNHAPPLY. read more

The dental work here is not the best I've seen. The staffs at this office are great sales people, I regret having them talked me into letting them do the porcelain crown for my tooth. They didn't really give me a chance to go home to think about my options before making a big decision. It costed me $500 out of pocket in addition to my HMO. I can't believe people gave this place 5 stars. Although the place is clean and the wait isn't very long. I would never recommend anyone here. I went here with my sister so she can get her crown done. Wow it is the ugliest thing I have ever seen. It's too short and wide. When my sister felt so uncomfortable with the fat crown we called the office and they let us come in to see if they could fix it. Well the dentist was less then friendly. I think she was upset because we questioned her abilities as well as her skills. She yelled at me because I asked her what the grey stuff around the crown was, it was quite noticeable. Crown got adjusted but my sister is so unhappy with the crown. We'll have to find another dentist to fix it. She is the worse dentist I have ever encountered. Good luck with those who have Delta-care because you won't have very many good dentists to choose from. read more

I woke up early on Sunday morning just to know they messed up my appointment. While I clearly stated that I had a dental report and would like to do works to fix my cavities, they made a teeth cleaning appointment. It's totally fine, I understand. But the dentist came out and said "you told us bla bla bla, you didn't say you needed bla bla bla". I have been looking for a dentist for a long time now. I asked one of my friend for a referral. He told me to go see a very nice dentist named Catherine Quach at Pro Tech. My first impression when I arrive was - this is it? I was expecting the office to look a lot better. It was clean but I did not see any Wow factor. However, the receptionist was exceptionally nice. I think her name was Elaine or Ellen - well I know it starts with an E. Well anyway, the receptionist was very professional and friendly even though there was a lot of things happening at the time. I think because of her, I may come back. Anyway, as for my visit, I came for a cleaning and I must say Dr. Quach was very thorough with my cleaning. She really took her time and it did not hurt much. Though I wish the TV was on and I can choose my own movies. Dr. Quach is a great talker who keeps me entertained for about 2 hours, but since I can't talk, I'd rather watch a movie. read more
