Ferrari 458 Spider fully covered in PPF and ceramic coated by Black Prestige Detailing

To start, we had full body paint protection film applied to our Ferrari 458 Spider, and a ceramic coating applied after. Working with Protective Film Solutions is a breeze. I'm super glad that we chose them to apply our full body PPF. Lorenzo, who helped us set everything up, is very great at communicating and assured us it would be the best PPF in Northern California. And I totally agree, they knocked it out of the park. In the paint protection business, you really get what you pay for. Seng and Jeff are some great installers who really take pride in their work. Overall, PFS was great at communication, delivered an outstanding product, and was reasonably priced.

    Black Mirror!

My new Civic Type R wears a lot of hats -- commuting, toddler school run, and track days. It's also black, which is hard to keep clean. I wanted to protect it and keep the paint low maintenance. I had PFS do a front PPF, color correction, and ceramic coating. I chose them because the company has a great reputation in SoCal where they are the go-to for all manner of exotics, Porsche and Ferrari. Scheduling was easy, and it took about a week to do the work. The car looks perfect. Way better than when it was delivered new to the dealer. You can't even tell the film is there on the front. Even after driving around in the rain, the car still looks new. They're not the cheapest, but they are probably the best in the Bay. I've seen poor PPF work and its not something I would want to deal with.

2019 Tesla Model S right after Glanz Ceramic Coat

I contacted one of the owners Albert of Protective Film Solutions in Fremont. I found that their company in Orange County had been doing Film, Ceramic Coating and Window Tinting for high end cars for decades. Albert had come up from Southern California to start a Nor Cal Branch of that business so he had a lot of product knowledge. I was interested in a ceramic coat for my new 2019 Tesla LR Model S which I was about to pick up from the factory delivery center. Albert took a lot of time explaining to me the difference between the ceramic coats that were out there now. He said none of them last indefinitely and should be refreshed annually but no one else tells you that because they want you to think their coat lasts for years. PFS would also perform a paint correction on the car before the coatings were applied. I made an appointment to have the two stage Glanz Ceramic coat applied and the windows tinted with Xpel SR Plus 35% IR Tint. One thing definitely worth mentioning is that right after I picked up my car, I noticed a sandpaper quality on the paint on the right rear quarter panel and rear deck lid. I took it back to Tesla and they offered to re-paint the affected areas. I contacted Albert about it and we decided to let him work on it with the paint correction first to see if he could smooth it out before applying the coat. If he couldn't, he'd let me know, then I'd have the paint work done prior to the ceramic coat being applied. Not only did they get the affected areas completely worked to a smooth finish, but the entire car finish is as smooth as glass!! It looks phenomenal!! They happened to have one of their specialists Jim out from Atlanta this week who worked on the car and I spoke to him and he was extremely passionate about his craft. I would highly recommend Protective Film Solutions to anyone needing film, tint or ceramic coating for their rides. Oh - and the other cars in their work area were McLarens and Porches.

My husband and I take all our cars to PFS. Ryan and Albert are spectacular. We used to ship cars to SoCal to the shop there because we've tried other shops in Norcal that were poor quality. There is always someone there to answer questions and explain options. We have cars with soft paint and the guys at PFS we're very knowledgeable about how to care for them. We've had 10 cars wrapped by PFS and have never had any complaints! They have pointed out and fixed other shops mistakes for us. The most recent car we had wrapped was the Lamborghini Urus, wrapped in stealth.. with all the lines and edges on that car we were expecting it to be a few weeks but they cranked it out quickly and did it flawlessly! We won't take our cars to anyone else. Next up, stealth Performante!! Thanks guys!

Attention to detail beyond compare and always going above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect - I am fortunate to have more than a few high end cars and I've been hesitant (notorious) for not wrapping my cars. Ryan, the owner, took my 2004 Carrera GT and made it look better than new. Paint prep was exceptional and the clear by Albert was flawless. They are so proactive and very customer-centric that when I picked up my new Porsche in Germany, they had the wrap supplier Xpel send me track tape to apply in Germany!! Incredibly, one of my exotics had a broken wiper blade and they replaced it Without Charge!!!! What I find even more impressive is that while all cars - even brand new - have flaws, they take the time to document everything so there are no surprises. First class all the way (with what seems like a lifetime supply of microfiber towels and detail spray in the trunk) Highly recommended !!!

Drove directly to Jet Black, spoke to Alejandro and made an appointment for April 5 to have my car's windows tinted. I asked if April 5 (Easter Sunday) would be a problem, "Are you sure you'll be open for business?" Alejandro: "Oh yes, I'm pretty sure we're open, I'll double check, if not I'll move your appointment to April 4 and call you." I never heard from him but on April 2 I called to confirm, was told they would be open on April 5. On April 4, I called one last time to confirm my appointment for April 5 and once again, was assured that they would be open. April 5, drive to Jet Black and find a business that was very much closed. Called their number and was told by Marcel, "This location is closed today." I became irate, expressed my frustration and was told that "lashing out" at him was not helping matters. True, it did not help, it wasn't Marcel's fault after all. Marcel assured me he would note my frustration and "pass it along to management." Oh goody. That really does me a great amount of good. Especially since I've arranged my day around this appointment. So I ask you, what should I have done? I did my due diligence. Called several times to confirm they'd be open, was told repeatedly they would be. WTF

I had to book 2 weeks in advance due to limited time slot availability, so plan ahead accordingly. Although Jeff and I agreed on a set time, I was able to drop the car off a little earlier due to a last minute errand. I came to tint my 2023 Model Y, and Jeff made sure what I chose was the best fit for what I was looking for. I wanted my tints to match in color especially when the back windows are already darkened, and Jeff was able to confirm that with a tool. I ended up going with 20% fronts and 50% rears, and the color match is pretty close to what I was looking for. My car was ready in 3 hours, and the entire process was quick and smooth. There are things to do a short drive as well if you're not from the area. He even puts tape to remind you to not open windows for at least 2-3 days! I made sure to wait a week before reviewing, and the tints turned out really good after the "cooldown" period. I have no complaints, but just wished they would tint the front windshield haha. Will definitely be coming back and recommending friends/family!

I went to AutoXpert to get my car wrapped and window tinted. The team seemed knowledgeable when I first came in and made recommendations on wrap type and brand to select from. I already had my mind set on the KPMF Matte Purple Black Iridescent (K75565) and didn't mind it wouldn't likely last more than ~3ys, which is what they estimate, even less if parking outside. My full service list included window tinting, paint correction, wrap and ceramic treatment. The ceramic treatment was added per their recommendation and I wanted the paint correction to ensure top notch look. They were very reasonable and competitive on the price, best yet for the region! They gave me a discount all around since I was doing so much work with them. The service took 2 weeks and i wasn't in a rush. They shared updated with me regularly, which was nice. Mohshin was leading the service execution and was always in close communication with me confirming my requests and giving me detailed advice to help me select trim wrap choices. We used matte black for the trims and i wasn't always sure what to pick so his help was VERY appreciated! At the end, they added a bonus wrap with black matte of the plastic panels between the windows since they were scratched. Now the whole thing looks perfect!!! The last final cool bit is how they make your cal feel special: the instagram posts , the cool movie they made and awesome final pictures really get you excited for the final product. Such a nice touch! We have already been back to fix an old wrap in my partner's car. The spoiler wrap in his Porsche got damaged (it is old, not done by AutoXpert) and we took it there to get fixed. They prepared us saying it might look different from the rest of the car (transparent matte) and was very reasonable cost and tat same day. The service looked perfect, we can't tell any difference! Thank you AutoXpert team for the awesome service! We will def continue to come back for all wrapping needs!

When I went to have the windows tinted, they mentioned they could also do reflectors and back lights for $150 which I definitely had thought about and gave the okay to do. Later that day when I came to pick it up, the back lights weren't tinted, only the reflectors were... i brought this up and they said the back lights would be even more money. This seemed rather expensive, but I figured I'm already here so I guess I'll just get it done. I also had to go back to have the tint fixed on the driver side window due to a major gap at the top. The spacing didn't match the gap on the passenger window, which was slightly less of a gap. When I went to discuss this with their team, I was consistently talked out of having it fixed with the excuse that "the tint films are pre-cut and a gap is normal". While a gap is normal, it shouldn't be as large as it was. This was 100% an install issue. I ended up needing to bring my dad with me to talk to these guys. It didn't seem like they wanted to remedy the situation, and I didn't feel like I was taken seriously. I have a hard time speaking up for myself, and I felt that was taken advantage of. Finally they agreed to fix it after quite a bit of discussion with my dad. A few days later, I noticed a rattle in my rear speaker that I went to check out, and that's when I saw a bunch of tiny flakes from my old tint all over the place. On the floor, behind the back seat, on the back seats... just a mess. I took out a flashlight to clean this up myself, and noticed that there were water marks dripping all down the sides of both the inside and outside of my car below the windows from the install. I would expect both the old tint and all watermarks to be properly cleaned up, and this wasn't the case. I paid $100 for the old tint to be removed, $300 for new ceramic tint installed, $150 for 4 reflectors to be tinted, and another $100 for rear lights to be tinted. For $650, you'd think you'd get more professional and overall better service. This is not the place for that. I'm really disappointed with my experience. I will not be back and do not recommend this business.
