Another ride another adventure, this one near my backyard. This place is right on the corner of Front and Beach. Next to the Jerky Place, Bakery, and the surf shop, it's a good stop. Theres also a really good restaurant there, Frankies n' Lolas. See my review. Anyways I'm waiting to pick up a ride, she bumped me to a later pick up time, twice...err. So I went into the Smoothies place to check it out, oh and write a review as I wait. Cozy as it gets with the friendly staff, actually looked like they enjoy the job and human interactions. I asked for a Mango something smoothie but no pineapple, be creative. The place has a good variety of drinks and edibles, sandwiches, salads, avocado toast, and on and on. If you don't see it they would probably make it for you. Now granted I was the only order being made at this moment and my smoothie was delivered to me as I sat at the bistro table out front. I was surprised how flavorful the smoothie was, I don't know why I thought that but it did taste good, a bit pricy. Just walking distance from many motels in the area, Goddess Goods is the perfect cafe to sit and enjoy "the rock" and the bay views. The staff was pleasant and patient with us while we chose what to order (the menu is huge). We went for the avo toast, the jolly green giant, coffees and the blueberry matcha. When traveling we always skip the coffee chains & seek out private locally owned coffee shops. They're almost always cool, artsy, & fun. Goddess proves our method to be true again. I only ordered a mocha but my gf got the caprese avacado toast so i got a couple bites and it was SO GOOD! The toast took longer than expected to make but it was well worth it. The next day, back in LG, we wished we had ordered another toast to bring back home. Enjoyed a delicious nutty buddy smoothie on a hot day in Moro bay, loved that it was organic and customizable. I changed the milk to oat milk and added mango, it was creamy just how I like it. The staff were pleasant and quick. I went back the next day for seconds and my partner got the jolly green giant to enjoy later that night she loved it. I've been here a handful of times over the past 4ish years while in the Morro Bay Area. Each visit here has been a yummy one! Good vegan options between food and smoothies. The employees are probably all HS kids, and not the most helpful as they are kind of slow or chatty with each other vs giving good service. It was gone in minutes. That combo of earthy matcha with the sweet cream and strawberry just hit different. Super smooth, not chalky at all like some matchas can be, and perfectly balanced. The lady working there was honestly the best part of the visit. She went above and beyond helping us choose a drink. There were a ton of options with different house-made syrups and creams and she made it fun to pick something. You could tell she genuinely cared that we found something we'd enjoy. Came here for a yoga class for a nice pick me up smoothie. This is such a cute little local healthy spot, just steps from the ocean in Morro Bay! They have a wide variety of coffees, teas, breakfast options, and lots of delicious smoothie bowls! I got the Nutty Buddy smoothie and it was very good. You can tell they use all natural fruits and ingredients which is always great to see. The girls working were very friendly and helpful when I asked for recommendations. Sep 2023 Picked up food to go. Service was friendly, and helped with any questions that I had. I grabbed a sundried almond burger with a side salad. It's always interesting to try different kinds of veggie burgers and this worked pretty well. The almond added some good texture to it. I was passing through Morro Bay and wanted something healthy. I found this place and ordered the power wrap - it was soooo tasty! I ate every last bite. There's not much ambience, so to speak, but you can sit at the window and look out at Morro rock, which is nice. They also offer some outdoor seating. I do wish places like this would stay open later - I don't know why so many close so early (this one at 3pm). I actually wanted to get a smoothie to take with me on the road, but didn't realize they had already cleaned everything up by the time I finished my meal. I considered taking off a star for that, but, I guess it was my fault for not looking closely at the hours. Instead of a bagel, the server offered to serve the fish on a bed of spinach. It was fresh and yummy! - I thought the service was speedy, especially considering there was only one person on staff and a few individuals placing orders. She did a great job of staying focused and paying close attention to my request for vegan pesto instead of cream cheese. She even included a lemon dill sauce , in addition for no charge. The prices at Goddess Goods are surprisingly affordable considering the location and ingredients. - Originally, I placed my order to go but decided to sit at one of the four tables looking out at the bay and Morro Rock instead. The view is spectacular and right next to where the otters nest. Thank you for offering cardboard to-go containers. Stopped by due to being right near the pier with otter viewing. We got the pesto bagel, avocado toast with egg and an everything bagel with cream cheese. This is a primarily vegetarian restaurant, with only lox being offered on one item. As a vegetarian, I was thrilled. My meat eating boys, wanted bacon. But they survived and enjoyed the food. Personally we all preferred the avocado toast. The pesto bagel was okay, but I wouldn't get it again. Goddess Goods is my favorite in Morro Bay for an early morning coffee. I highly recommend their Acai Bowl, its so delicious! The service is great, they make the food while waiting, healthy and happy. The location is right on Embarcadero, there is plenty of parking and there are a few tables inside and outside. I get mine to go, and they have all the utensils and proper packaging so I can go watch the waves at the rock while enjoying my Goddess Goods! Try them out! read more

Great selection of fresh, healthy, plant-based bites, smoothies, juices, and specialty coffee & tea. Wish this place was closer to home so we could frequent it weekly! What we ordered: ~ Avocado Toast with their in-house-made pesto (the added sprouts and sun-dried tomatoes were a very tasty touch!) ~ Açaí bowl (it was good, not too liquidy, though kind of more of a brownish color than any other Açaí bowl I've ever had. Maybe that's because they also blend in mango & peach, so I'm ok with that! It was oddly served in a square-shaped plastic container that could easily leak, so good thing we were just walking across the street to enjoy it.) ~ Matcha almond milk latte (a bit too sweet, but still decent) In a small coastal town like Morro Bay, Goddess Goods stands out as one of the few places (or quite possibly the only one), who offers delectable plant-forward food and drinks. The website shows that a local family took over the cafe within the past couple of years, and they certainly put a lot of love, thought and care into it! Wow what a gem! Amazing smoothies, and made without ice cream unlike so many other smoothies are. The kiddos loved them and it's nice to find healthy food in a place filled with fish and chips and fried foods. Prices are very reasonable and it's worth coming just to see the view out the front window. What a special place to have a bite to eat! I couldn't taste the cocoa powder but the dates made it almost candy-sweet and I needed to take a break after a few sips. - Hummus Wrap with Smokey Chickpeas: $9: I could taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients. Overall the wrap didn't have the strongest flavors and I agree with a previous reviewer who mentioned that curiously, it mainly tasted of lemon. I stopped by this place and ordered a nutty date smoothie and a pesto egg bagel. The place took some time to prepare smoothie which is maybe because they made it from scratch (or so I assume). The smoothie had dates, banana, and peanut butter in it. I really enjoyed the 16oz serving I got and was quiet filling too. My friend ordered pesto egg bagel which comes with scrambled eggs on top of pesto smeared bagel, topped with dried cherry tomatoes. This is done on either side of bagel piece so basically it's like an open sandwich. The bagel texture was quiet soft, later I realized it didn't even seam like the chewy bagel texture but rather more like an English muffin. Despite a love of fruits and vegetables, I have never considered myself much of a smoothie fan. The sad reason is that most are loaded with added sugars and might as well be ice cream (in which case, come on, I'll just have ice cream, thankyouverymuch). After several days on the road eating junk, a smoothie, if the "good" kind, sounded perfect, and that is how I found Goddess Goods. They are located just off the beach in a strip shared with restaurants, gift stores, and a few other businesses, and happily, are one of the few spots open early at 6:30am. Yes! They aren't just a smoothie shop either, they have juice, lunch and breakfast (sandwiches, salads, and their ilk), even some baked goods and other treats, and everything is available any time of the day. Another yes! They feature many vegan options, have cute branded tees, tanks, hats, and other merchandise, and lastly, sell sundries like SPF and other body products, plus gift-y things like jewelry. It's really a cool little place, and while the focus is definitely on food, it was fun to have some goodies to check out while we waited. Prices are about average at $10ish for food and maybe a tad high at $7-10 for juices and smoothies (depending on size). There is seating available inside, and the young woman who assisted us was friendly. My husband chose a Blue Dream smoothie, I a Jolly Green Giant.
