My meal was 30 dollars for a beef bowl and green smoothie which I felt was overpriced for what it was. Turmeric rice was wayyyy too salty. It was very clean inside. Actual review is over. More or a personal annoyance but for names like "detox" annoy me too lol. Sure, let's falsely advertise to people and tell them they need to drink some fruit juice so they can get rid of toxins... I guess you don't have a liver then? Your liver is incredibly efficient at metabolizing and getting rid of toxins that come into your system and it doesn't need some fruit juice for it to work. We had a big reservation and all went great. We placed our orders in a timely manner, got seated, and our food was served in about 20 minutes or so. We all had a variety of healthy foods and drinks including wraps, bowls, protein pancakes, air fries, and fruit. The manager was most appreciative of our business. Flooded toilets don't on purpose by their own staff. People getting slandered. Barista girls glueing fake nails in the bathroom sink when shift was supposed to begin. Lack of leadership, did not have correct ingredients for any shakes. Kansas City location obligated to come back down in order to attempt to re educate that whole staff which they did not train correctly for new qualifying candidates. The entire experience was a popularity contest. Not to mention the new location here in Overland Park on Metcalf can't even find people to want to work. The reason for this, I will not disclose. I was recently in Des Moines for business, and ordered ProteinHouse three times - twice for lunch and once for dinner. All three times, food quality and portion size was great, delivery service was fast, and I felt the experience was a good value. For my first lunch, I ordered a vegan mixed salad with grilled portbellos, chickpeas, quinoa and all the other ingredients listed in the description, without any additions or omissions. The salad was fresh and tasted good. So good that I decided to order from ProteinHouse for dinner that night too. For my dinner, I ordered the Boss signature bowl, with 2 bison meat patties. I had it over sweet potatoes, omitted all the onions and added several veggies. Though the bowl was not warm by the time it reached me, and the bison meat patties were pretty bland, I added salt, pepper and hot sauce, and then mixed in some dressing I had from another meal, and enjoyed it. I then ordered from here for lunch once more, and got the Spicy Thai Chicken wrap, but had it with the collard greens wrap and added some additional veggies. For a side, I got the air fries. This was a perfect combo that felt light and tasted great. I would say that this is probably the most delicious of all of the menu options, due in large part to the super tasty spicy peanut sauce. Note that this was my first ever experience ordering delivery from a restaurant via Door Dash, and I have to say that was also great - in every case my food arrived in advance of the estimated time, and was in tact. Love their smoothies. Whenever I do not want to make my own this is the place I go. Its not overpriced but very reasonable. Their take home meals are very good as well. I really appreciate being able to easily distinguish if something is gluten free, dairy free, vegan, vegetarian, and low carb to name a fee of their labels. People who work there are very helpful and will gladly point you in the right direction if you are looking for something in particular. It always seems to be very quiet inside. I have seen this restaurant from the highway and I was always intrigued about it and I wanted to try it. This Saturday, I remembered that I had not tried the restaurant so I decided to give it a shot. I walked in and I loved the fact that it was clean. I ordered a bison burger medium with sweet potato fries and their chocolate mini muffins. The burger was served well done and it was a bit dry. The fries were cold and old or very soft. The taste of the burger was good but it was dry so I had a lot of ketchup yo go with it. I did not say anything to the staff because my rule is to never send food back. It was a liquid apple pie put into a protein smoothie and I couldn't get enough of it. 24 oz cups - great portion! And for the price! My friend got the Ms Skinny and my husband got the Green Beast. They loved them. Total spent was $26.xx before gratuity. During pandemic protocol, no masks are required to enter. Employees were not masked. Social distancing is marked out on floor. Dine in is open and very spacious. Customer service was great and very helpful. Visited during a holiday at breakfast time and it was a good pace of customers. Love ordering food from here. I ordered today their Ph hash breakfast bowl. Has egg whites, bison, sweet potatoes, celery and onion. It is so delicious. Lately I've had little time to cook so ordering from here I always know I'm getting something nutritious and healthy. Love their drinks too fresh natural drinks too. Haven't really explored the protein ones too much because I'm unsure if they are gf or not. I've yet to dine in but so far I love the food here. I have picked up though and know it's located on the far right side of Lifetime fitness. Always consistent with the tastiness of their food. I was there about 11:30 on a Monday. I ordered the bison burger medium rare and I was much over cooked in my opinion and not very warm. I'm traveling for work and love that there is a healthy food option to choose from while on the road. I came for lunch and had the BBQ bison cheesesteak wrap and the green monster juice. The wrap was good but the BBQ flavor was very subtle. The juice was chunky. It would be nice to have some of that pulp strained out to make it more of a liquid consistency. The food is definitely a 4 in terms of portion size and pretty good when it came to taste. Chicken quality was excellent. I had the chicken Caesar wrap and my husband had the Berry Lovers salad. The place is also very clean and has nice employees. I knocked the rating down to 3 stars because there is a weird service charge attached to the order if you pay in credit. The cashier claims it's a "transaction fee" but credit card companies charge merchant fees between 1.5%-3%, not the 6% they charged me. This place isn't cheap. If they are looking to incentivize cash in order to hide taxes OR make a profit off of credit every credit card transaction then they are doing a great job. The door had a notice saying that all employees (employees were wearing them, thank you) and patrons are required to wear masks. ProteinHouse is the local health restaurant I didn't know we needed! The location (right off and visible from the interstate) and the design aesthetic/branding drew me to give it a try. You can tell they put a lot of thought and work into starting this business (again, the branding). They have a very extensive menu - from breakfast, coffee, lunch, and protein shakes! I have many items I still would like to try. So far, I absolutely love the protein shakes. They are a great consistency and tasty. The p.shakes are also a good size, I've eaten them as a meal substitute. The PB&J shake is exceptionally delicious. I have also gotten hooked on their PB&J protein pancakes with peanut butter and strawberry jelly! They add sliced bananas on top, yum! I've ordered an espresso coffee and can't complain - I appreciate the milk options they have for coffee. In addition to the made-to-order menu, they also offer frozen meats in a cooler to buy.
