Talked with Thor many times on issues for my folding bikes. He was knowledgeable and great help on a few issues I was having. My wonderful, custom-built Dahon Flo framed bike was stolen last month while riding on a family trip. That evening I searched for a new Dahon Flo (Ritchey Breakaway) frame in order to rebuild something just as good or better and found a long-leftover (probably) 2011 demo model of the Dahon Flo bike (the last year it was built, I believe) for sale in Olney Illinois from ThorUSA.com for 1/2 price! But when it arrived with a bent frame, making it unrideable since the axle and quick release wouldn't fit into the narrowed dropout at all, I was despondent, fearing my likely last chance at rebuilding the bike I loved had just disappeared. However, ThorUSA rapidly asked what could be done to make things right, agreed to send me a brand new frame to exchange for the bent one, and shipped it within a couple days! Now the new frame is here and I'm working on the rebuild. Also just ordered an Aber Hallo Stem from ThorUSA as well for my wife's bike, to help out her back. Thor has been great! I'll be watching the web site for parts from now on, and hope to stop by the shop in Olney Illinois the next time we're riding through the Midwest! Our entire family ride Dahons and a Tern since all our vacations are biking vacations and folding bikes are the easiest way to travel with bikes. This company is also known as "Thorusa.com". I bought a Tern Link Uno folding bike from this store online. When it arrived, it had a flat tire. They sent a replacement tube, so I was able to fix it (it is not the easiest of tires to take off and replace the tube). A month or so later, I received an email telling me that the bike was being recalled. In the email, I was given the option for an upgrade at a fee, so I opted for the Tern Verge. I asked Thorusa to make sure that they inspect the bicycle to make sure that the bicycle is in good shape and ready to for me to ride when I receive it. Thorusa guaranteed that they would inspect the bicycle. When I received the bicycle, the back tire was flat. I took the tube out and the whole was pretty big actually, and there is no way that this could have happened in the shipping process. There was no way that this could have been missed in a pre-shipping inspection, so basically Thorusa lied to me when they said that they would inspect the bicycle. They sent a replacement tube, and through much effort in taking the back tire off, replacing the tube, and putting the back tire back on, the rear tire was fixed. Here comes the straw that broke the camels back. When I went to put on the pedals for the bicycle, I learned that they had shipped the wrong pedals. The pedals that had been shipped had the wrong thread and they were not for this bicycle. You have got to be kidding me. Ridiculous! Ridiculous! Ridiculous! I do not have this kind of time to be messing around with this sort of thing. I am not sure how I am going to get my money back, but I hope to be through dealing with Thorusa as soon as possible. Do yourself a favor. Do not order a bicycle from Thorusa.com. The headaches are not worth it. read more

Bought a Dahon Vybe D7 foldable from Thor USA. It was supposed to come with a seat pump but didn't. Asked them about it and they claimed that I would get that only if I had purchased a more expensive high-end bike. Then they offered to sell me one. Did my research before I placed the order & even saw Dahon advertisement on Youtube indicating how rare it is that this model comes with the pump. They still deny the truth & use every excuse to proof you wrong. I haven't brought it to a bike shop yet; just hope there's no problem with it. Hate to lose several hundred dollars because I chose the wrong company to deal with. read more

I purchased "Dahon Speed Uno Folding Bike, Shadow" from Thor USA and was disappointed that upon receiving the bike that it was not the pictured item I had purchased. I inquired with the seller as to this mistake and was told this is the new version. The problem was the pedals no longer fold, the grips are round without palm support and all the aluminum clips are anodized blue not chrome. After contacting Thor USA (which is the online store name for this company) they offered to send replacement parts in the colors I wanted. While I appreciate the gesture, the blue paint on the bike would not change and i do not have the time nor the tools to remove the parts and rebuild the bike. I declined the parts and took the offered refund which he agreed to, but he would not pay return shipping. Only after involving the online partner he sold through did he agree to refund the item plus return shipping. When he received the bike not only did he not cover the return shipping he also charge me half of the original shipping. Went back to the online seller and filed a second complaint before he returned the additional 25 dollars. Original purchase price in pocket I'm still out 50 dollars to ship back to him. I would never buy from this company again. I advise anyone considering this store to verify in writing what you are buying as well as what his return policy is. as the first reviewer said "Do yourself a favor. I bought a Dahon Matrix from Thorusa.com Besides the bike being awesome, the level of service, quality of packing, speed of shipping was second to none. I even had an issue with a shortage in the box, and Thor dealt with it at lightning speed, correcting the problem. Thank you for an excellent experience. I couldn't be happier. read more
