Came in today to see if I wanted to open a new account again, but started off by asking if they could break some larger bills into smaller bills ($20s into $10s) and the clerk refused to do so if I was not a customer. I informed her I was a previous customer and she checked the system and verified I was no longer a customer and promptly declined any service. I'm not surprised as to why this branch is always so empty now. The service is horrendous and the employees seem indifferent to anyone. The new construction of and renovation of the branch is refreshing but does not negate the lack of care by the staff. Please stay away from banking with Provident. Stick to TD down the road, PNC in Greenbrook, or Capital One on 22. These branches offer customer service that actually cares about the public. Good Luck to anyone that still banks at Provident, I will certainly not be returning.

They're really good at remembering their customers, and if you frequent this bank enough, they'll start to remember who you are and what your needs are. it may not have the fluff that other banks have like the free lollipops and pens. But at least they don't charge you to have paper statements mailed to your home unlike some places.
