Went with group of 8 for our food adventure. Boy was it worth it.
We came into the restaurant famished after a full day of travelling. When the big food platter came out the presentation put me in a happy place. There are few things in life that can match the satisfaction one gets when seeing beautifully presented food while being hungry. I had to resist my primal urge to just dive in and devour the juicy brisket, or the perfected roasted ribs and chicken, since everyone wants to snap that perfect instagram photo first. So I exercised tremendous will power and took one myself.
I am not a foodie, but I can taste the passion for cooking as I was enjoying the food. I've only had this kind of experience a few times in my life. It's not just how amazing the food taste, but from how it was presented, to the atmosphere of the restaurant, to the uniqueness of the flavour and the feeling after you finished the last bite. So it was not a huge surprise when the Chef himself came to chat with us and told us that his culinary history. He had competed in a number of cooking shows, worked in high end restaurants, but then quit to run a food truck focusing on Asian cuisines, and eventually settling at Provisions Kitchen & Catering, where they can make food with their (his wife and his) own creativity, in order to pursuit their passion for simply making great food for people to enjoy.
With that kind of passion for great food, you will not only leave with a full stomach, but a full spirit. read more
