Such a great studio for yoga loving moms!…read more I did a group class with my NMS cohort and absolutely loved it. Here are a few highlights: + Baby friendly space! They have mats, toys, diaper changing station etc. It's super welcoming, so you don't need to worry if your little one starts making noise. The instructor even comes around and offers to hold your baby (with your permission!) + Clean and super aesthetic space. All new equipment! Calm vibes! Loved it. + Amazing workout! I think I was biased to think that just because you bring your baby it wouldn't be a real workout... but it really was. I go to CorePower regularly and I was more sore from this class than my usual hot yoga. A major plus that exercises focused on your pelvic floor and all the areas you need to work on post birth. Convenient location in Willow Glen! There are 2 parking spaces in front of the studio, but I think most people do street parking. Lots of different classes to try! I'll definitely be back with my baby in tow :)

All of her sessions were extremely helpful and tailored to what we specifically wanted to learn. She also visited us at home, answered all of our questions patiently, and guided us with postpartum setup and care instructions. During labor, Jasmin supported us with different exercises and techniques that really helped with the dilation process and made the experience more manageable. Since it was our first birth, we knew we wanted a doula to help support us through the unknown. From the first meeting, Jasmin felt warm and always respected what we wanted our birth plan to be. She's knowledgeable and explained everything to us very patiently. We went with the full package that included 4 classes (last one is a visit), unlimited prenatal massage and of course the delivery. Classes were super helpful and we didn't take anything else outside of that besides some breastfeeding classes. The massages were God-sent!! I loved it so much, I ended up gifting massages to another pregnant friend. I had gotten massages from everyone and it was always wonderful. Due to scheduling, I stuck with Amanda's schedule and she did wonders to my aching body. I'm so grateful to have had this resource during my pregnancy!! My last passage was a pressure point one and I went into labor that night! Lastly, the labor and delivery was more chaotic than I thought and I ended up having to shift my birth plan. Jasmin was so wonderful to come visit us at home to help with induction exercises and talk through additional options. She took the time to adjust her schedule to ensure she was reachable and within a good distance from the hospital during my labor. Once we checked into the hospital, she came to check in and continue the induction exercises along with ensuring our nurses were aligned with our birth plan. When we actually started active labor, she was by my side tending to my pain the whole time. She checked in on us a few days after delivery and I loved just sitting down to talk about the experience. She also shared photos of our labor and delivery, which I'm grateful for since it's something you're not thinking about in the moment. Overall, we're very happy with our first birth experience with Jasmin and her amazing team!! Thank you for everything!!!

I would 1000% recommend doing one-on-one training sessions--it's the best money I've ever spent on myself. Thanks to our workouts, I had an incredibly easy delivery and post-partum recovery. Tal radiates positive energy! She kept me smiling, fit, motivated, and--most importantly--SAFE throughout my pregnancy. Her workouts were not only fun but also incorporate many moves that can actually be used during labor. She was always in-tune to my needs and would adapt her routines--even mid-workout--to make sure I was safe and pain-free. I also loved that she emphasized important foundations (e.g. proper breathing technique, connecting breath to core and pelvic floor, safe ways to get in/out of bed, ways to avoid diastasis recti, etc). I continue to use those skills daily. Not only is Tal a mama herself, she has years of experience as a specialized prenatal/post-partum personal trainer. She even stays up-to-date with ACOG recommendations and takes refresher maternal health courses. As a physician, I was impressed with the depth of her knowledge. If you train with her, you get access to her Strong Mama Fitness online for free--another incredible resource. Although she is no longer local in the Bay Area, she is available for 1-on-1 virtual training via Zoom. Our virtual sessions were super convenient, all without sacrificing quality. She talked through just about every scenario and offered a really great mindset - feed as much breastmilk as you can whenever you can, and it's totally OK to make up the difference with formula. Unfortunately, the baby care class dropped this down to 4 stars. It was borderline a waste of time. The instructor was scattered and not very helpful. Lots of tech challenges. The New Mom & New Dad Community Hub…read more I think of The Nesting Spot as a one-stop support center for new parents -- and it has been one of the most meaningful resources across my entire journey from pregnancy through postpartum. My experience started with their birth prep class, where I learned calming and pain management techniques that I genuinely believe contributed to a more positive labor experience. Going into birth feeling informed and equipped made a real difference, and The Nesting Spot gave me that foundation. After baby arrived, I participated in the six-week New Moms Group facilitated by Aariel -- one class per week -- and what happened there was genuinely transformative. It wasn't just a class -- it became a tight-knit community of women at similar stages with their babies, sharing real experiences and learning from one another. Each week we supported each other through the emotional and identity shifts that come with new motherhood, got validation for what we were experiencing, and learned practical things about caring for our new babies. When you're in the thick of postpartum recovery, it's easy to stay home and isolate. But I think that isolation quietly feeds postpartum depression. Having a weekly class to show up to -- and an ongoing group of moms who truly get it -- made all the difference. What's especially beautiful is that the bonds you build don't end when the six weeks do. You leave with a close support community of moms whose babies are the same age as yours, and that relationship continues. What I'm most excited to tell other families about is the New Dads Group facilitated by Kevin, something that has been genuinely missing in the South Bay. My husband wanted to be involved and supportive, but in depth dad-specific resources are nearly impossible to find. What makes this group so special is that it gave my husband a space to connect with other men going through the same emotional and life changes that come with becoming a father -- something men rarely have the opportunity to do. That community made him a more present and supported partner, and I felt the difference. The Nesting Spot covers it all: birth prep classes, new mom classes, new dad classes, postpartum support, yoga, lactation, and more.
