Vivian is AMAZING. She is so sweet, informative, and pays attention to detail. I was looking for a location that provided Lymphatic drainage in San Jose after having a breast augmentation done. She does the whole body. She's gentle and has managed to put me to sleep with how relaxed and comfortable she made me feel. One of my tenants gave me early notice of termination of his lease and was resigning from his job due to the horrible pain he had in his hips and going back to Germany to get proper care, I ask him have you been to the doctors here? he said he have been every were and no once can help, I recommended him to Vivian and after just one session, he could not stop talking about it and how great he felt and what a change in his body he had! I enjoyed a massage from Vivian for the first time today. The first thing I look for in a massage therapist is how thoroughly they assess my specific needs - am I there for relaxation, or do I have specific aches and pains, do I know how they happened - the kinds of detail a good therapist will need to make good decisions about how to treat me safely and therapeutically. Vivian found out quickly that today my calves were really sore because I went hiking a few days ago, and that my shoulders, neck, and forearms were really tight because of my work and because I spend lots of time at the keyboard. What followed was an hour of very effective massage therapy composed of a variety of different techniques all wrapped up in one customized package targeted to my needs. Vivian used Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, joint mobilization, sugar scrub, reflexology, and Shiatsu to work first my back and neck, then my forearms, then my lower legs, returning for some more deep work in the neck; before turning me over for work on my upper arms, forearms, hands, feet, neck, face, and scalp; finishing with calming, meditative finger pressure techniques over my whole body. The treatments were integrated - the hot stone work, for example, was a natural finishing touch on the lower legs and on the back; the reflexology flowed naturally from the sugar scrub to my feet. I was impressed with the combinations, the pacing, and the smoothness of the delivery. And I was delightfully relaxed yet alert following the session. My legs have been much less uncomfortable since the massage, and I've had great energy through the day. Vivian knows what she's doing, and I'll be going back to her again. read more

What a amazing experience. After a terrible car accident over a year ago I was still in pretty bad shape even after the chiropractor and physical therapy. Vivian had so much patience with me. I was in so much pain I couldn't be touched she was able to dull out the pain before she began and I was in total disbelief that I could stand up straight afterwards.
