He was clear, he could explain everything very intelligently and quickly. He's a fast thinker and a very smart person. It's great talking to him. He's knowledgeable and he looked at some other things which we might do in the future and also explained how to alleviate the problem. I found that by taking both the nozzles off of both of the hoses where they were leaks, It solved the problem because it stopped the water from coming out of the pipe bib. Considering how bad the economic times are in the prices of today they are pretty reasonable or at least decent and not extreme. Everything else is out of control. I feel safe having them in my home and leaving. I know everything will be fine and I really enjoy having them as my plumber because I feel like I have someone I can trust if God forbid there's ever a real emergency. The contract was signed Sep 20, 2017 and the estimated completion date was no later than Oct 31, 2017. The builder's foreman, Morgan, had a final walk through with my husband Sep 20, 2018. I filed a complaint against Central Coast Builders with Oregon's Construction Contractors Board. The mediation occurred December 20, 2018 and I prevailed. In other words, my complaint of unethical conduct on behalf of the contractor and the resulting deplorable workmanship resulted in Central Coast Builders having a permanent complaint filed against their construction license number. When you interview a licensed construction contractor for a project, be sure to ask who will be tasked with completing the job: direct employees or subcontractors. And before you hire a construction contractor, be sure to extend "due diligence" beyond what you consider diligent. Watch for my coming Op-Eds on choosing a licensed construction contractor and my experience filing a complaint with Oregon's Construction Contractors Board. And aside from a Yelp, you should also consult Google reviews, Angie's List, and Home Advisor.
