They are extremely rude and misleading. I called them and received a price, as soon as they came they gave me a different price and threatened with collections if I didn't pay their service fee. They tried to bait and switch me to collect more money from me by giving me false information so they can come to my residence. They are extremely unprofessional staff and the lady in the office is the worst. I will never use them again. Stay away from them read more

Pruett receives 1 star ONLY because there isn't anything lower!!!! In short, I had them install a brand new system installed from the attic to outside after they convinced me that my current unit, only 3 years old, would cost over $2500 to repair & that it was actually too small for my home. I gave the old unit to someone that was in need of the outside unit & told them of the issues I was having with it freezing up. They had a repair company from their hometown look at it & the only problem with it was actually from the factory. The line feeding freon was actually too small & once replaced, it cooled like a champ! & they are still using it! Shortly after Pruett installed a complete new system, I returned home to find the wall that the unit in the attic was above, soaking wet! Come to find out, when the new unit was installed, they failed to install a bigger drip pan & it over flowed causing the water to leak from the attic. Not only, did they fail to do that but they also failed to install a junction box for power as they are required to! By not installing a bigger drip pan, the water simply overflowed instead tripping the safety switch was not in the proper place due the the pan being too small!!! The tech that inspected it, insured me they would take care of it & apologized a few times for their huge mistake. After dealing with management, which seriously lacks customer skills, they FINALLY agreed to repair the wall as well after correcting their serious mistake! This actually took 3 calls & the threat of a lawsuit before he (the manager) finally agreed. Now, fast forward 2 years. I called them out for a general cleaning & maintenance. I believe the charge was about $75. There were no issues with the unit but felt it was time to be cleaned. The tech had been gone for about 20 minuets when it quit cooling. He returned to see what had happened. The problem was in the attic & would cost $1900 to repair. OR, seeing as I was having this issue, it may be best to simply replace it. Again, a cost of $4500-&5000. I got a 2nd opinion & it was repaired for under $350. It was his opinion that the tech did something seriously wrong when cleaning. Intentionally or accidentally will always be an unanswered question! I can assure you, you'll regret using these CROOKS! I honestly do not know how they are still in business. read more

I employed this company the last three times I had out heat pump serviced for regular maintenance. Each time, the service person was courteous, truthful, and seemed genuine. Each time, the service was a complete inspection, and any faults or problems were discussed, and each time there were no issues. The honesty and integrity of the company was the reason I kept them on speed dial for problems that may occur at my home, and I , sadly, recommended them to others. (12,000 civilian and military working force in the Warner Robins area, with a fast growing population, some of whom are young, Air Force folks who won't be in town for only a few years, so THEY need a good recommendation for a company that will be honest, will NOT rip them off with poorly trained service workers.) October, a heat wave struck and the heat pump displayed problems making loud noise with the outside fan, and cooling inside was inadequate, a quick review of past experience, appeared we needed a R-22 check for correct amount, and any leaks. This service person (we'll call him Bobby) 1. NEVER checked the thermostat. 2. NEVER checked with a thermal device to show temperature blowing out of ducts. ( even the most inexperienced HVAC student knows this is a primary troubleshooting checklist). 3. NEVER checked the attic brains of the operation, NEVER asked where it was. 4. 5 minutes outside, came back in with a capacitor which, although old in years, did not show any burning or heat residue. Service person (We'll call him Bobby), said it was a $25 part and for him to install, would be $260 plus the $65 standard service cal , I approved the service, (you can go on the Internet and watch a 14 year old girl and her Grandpa perform the change of a heat pump capacitor), not rocket science, yet involving electricity , since I trusted the honesty of previous Pruett service. He assured me the R-22 level was fine, although it would be another "integrity check of the complete system to check for leaks". Something NONE of the previous Pruett service folks tried to sell, THEY, initially did the 1st 3 steps of the checklist above, and told me the heat pump was low on R-22, told me the price upfront and WE NEVER HAD ANOTHER PROBELM. This time the service person (we'll call him Bobby), after replacing the capacitor proceeded to tell us his life story with the Company, including the fact that he had never been formally trained, "just picked it up as I rode around with the other technicians". Should have red flagged the work then, but again, I TRUSTED PRUETT. Pruett charged me a service call, because, the problem was low R-22,, and the 90 warranty only covered the service they had performed previously. I could see the scam train running off the tracks straight at my check book. Since I was out of town, my wife reluctantly paid the service fee yet declined on paying anything more. I called and spoke to someone we'll call Dave, who answered the phone, gave the short version of the above story, Dave stuck to his guns, wouldn't let me speak to the Manager who he called Jarret, or Garret? I asked him to review our past history and please call me back, because as I told him, having a trusted agent to perform maintenance at your home is something you return to. Never returned my call. So I lost $69, and Pruett could and does care less. Don't use them, you will pay for much more than needs to be maintained, and judging by (we'll call him Bobby) their current service people, may or may not even know what they are doing, so you may pay this week, and two months more, the Pruett truck will show up ready to charge you for needless service while performing maintenance that was unnecessary, and your problem will still not be solved. read more

James and Greg completed our maintenance and inspection, then called in Wyatt and Bailey from the install team, who discovered issue with ductwork metal flexing.
