Amazing company. They were able to get me an appointment next day (I bet same day is possible if my issue happened earlier). Lady on the phone was super awesome and related to my terrible day I was having. Day of appointment, I got a text that our tech was arriving early. This was great communication and it sent a pic of our tech, Chris, so we didn't have any stranger danger situations. Chris arrived, was very nice and professional. He got the issue fixed and explained some things along the way. He was out in about an hour. Cost wise, it was only $100! I added a tip as a big thanks for the speed and professionalism, something very rare to see nowadays. I hope to never see this company again (that means I have more issues!!). Installer showed up to the neighbors house ready to install a garage door. The neighbor redirected the installer to the correct house. I have been waiting for my garage door for over 2 months. The installer was efficient in installing the door. I had asked him if he could install a garage door opener that I had still sealed in the box. He called his office for permission to install the opener. The installer was told if they installed the opener the door's warranty would be null and void. I told the installer that it was fine (the warranty is only a year). I then told him that I would pay him for it or I could have the contractor pay for it. I called and got an okay from the contractor. The installer refused to install the opener. He said that the company would only install openers that they buy. I suppose the makes more money that way. read more

Had 2 garage for motors replaced in January. Labor for one hour was 100.00. Had two more motors installed in November and was charged 750.00 for one hour of labor!!!! A rip off. They don't answer my emails. I sent a letter requesting a refund and got no response. This is not the company Joe ran. Unbelievable. read more

I woke up on Friday morning and needed to roll my trash can out to my driveway. Guess What? The garage door would only go up a couple feet! Oh My! I had a 2:00 p.m. appointment scheduled and needed to get my car out. I called Adriane at Prutch's and asked if someone could get to my house by noon or so. Guess what at 12:30 p.m. Jerry arrived. Found the problem, had the part in his truck, stayed and fixed the door! I had plenty of time to meet my 2:00 p.m. appointment. Now that's what I call GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! These guys were fantastic. I was able to call on a Monday and was told they will call when they are coming out. Didn't get the call and they showed up yesterday. The guy apologized and I was lucky that I was home. Both technicians were friendly and asked a few questions about the garage door for clarification. They worked on the door for maybe 45 minutes and tested the door afterwards several times. They did have me out to show me what was wrong and then demonstrated the working operation of the door. I liked how he showed me the piece that wasn't working and told me to hang onto it as it has the manufacturer number and in case they need to come back. They have a 6 month warranty on the pieces. I'm so happy they didn't guess what was wrong instead they diagnosed and made a confident solution. And the fact they carry small pieces like the one I needed on the truck already. Recommended? Absolutely. They are the only company from here on out I'm going to call to fix the door if it stops working again. And I'm going to spread the word to other people to give them a call first. He proceeded to go through the operation of both doors, changed a few bad rollers, lubed them, adjusted tension on one. A complete professional, friendly, knowledgeable throughout. i've been a Kenny's overhead Doors costumer for close to 20 years and the service and the price are always bean reasonable but now since Prutch's bought the business the prices went to the roof !!!! I have one of my springs broke 02/04/2020 and the technician came very fast and replace both springs for exactly $ 367.18 and that was very fair price . Now 11/12/2024 exactly the same issue 4 years later , 1st invoice $165.00 ( to clamp the spring who's only work 1 day , call the office was supposed to send someone but didn't do it and when I ask the technician he didn't know about the lose clamp )+ $706.00 to replace both springs !!!! this is more then DOUBLE .Insane how the Business take advantage of the costumer in this valley . 1st time I use them and definitely the last time . Inflation doesn't cover everything .by the way the technician was very nice , polite and respectfull .ADJUSTED STARS : After talking to the owner Garret , i decided to change my rating from 1 star to 4 stars just because he understand my position and my point of view working with kenny overhead door for the last 20 years , the price was not there and i think he agreed to maybe he should send an estimate to his costumer since the price is much higher than the previous owner .Thanks read more

Our situation was unique, we were having our garage door repaired and paid for with escrow money from the recent purchase of our home. They came out, did the work and sent invoice to our lender for payment! I hate to mention competitors names, it isn't hard to figure out, as another reviewer did mention them, but I called them first, they came and gave an estimate, then when we called them to come do the work, they were so rude, it almost felt like we were bothering the man (Troy) or (Tony) something like that when we called! Missed three deadlines to deliver my garage doors now 4 months late. I called them two months later and explained I had moved items into the garage based on their timeline and it was unsecured. They offered to install a temporary door panel but they missed those appointment times as well. When I called them for the 5th time they told me my garage doors were in and could install them so we scheduled an appointment. After taking a day off work, as a nurse, to get these installed. No call confirming appointment. When they didnt show, I called them. They told me the installers were nearby. 20 minutes later I called again and they told me "very very shortly." 40 minutes later I called them back and they told me their techs told them they were on site. I promise you they are not as I have not moved from my driveway since 1.5 hours ago. No call back and no explanation. You make your decision as to the value of your time. read more
