Bear in mind with all Yelp reviews here that there are often two types who go to a Medium : 1) cynic/skeptics who want to "test" the medium's psychic abilities without offering any information (fair enough, as the psychic field has many grifters) and 2) believers who come "all in" and readily cooperate with and even volunteer more info to get the most from their session. I fall in the later category. I have sought help and advice from psychics and mediums who specialize in various practices. It's been my experience that even gifted ones, still have to rely on some help and validation from a client because insights that come telepathically are often hazy----it's like trying to reach for something solid in a fog. When I came here during the weekend, they were offering various services like tarot, and I think palmistry and astrological readings. I did take a look at their tarot decks because I like ones with interesting art and collect several, but they had mostly standard decks you'll find at similar shops; nothing really new or interesting for me. If you're not familiar with Elgin, you'll need to rely on GPS; this shop is on a frontage road near Judson and in an you have to get to it in a somewhat odd way, so using a digital map will probably be your best bet. Obviously I do not know the owner(s) background... so I'm reserving judgment on the use of the exonym for Romani people in the name of the shop.
