I came on this particular day to check for what their St Patricks day goodies were this year. They have always had a strong St Pats game. I walked around and while the store was clean, it was only sort of organized. It seemed like everything was packed in quite tightly as I knocked things off racks several times. Sadly, I found there was just a few shelves near the cash register with St Pats stuff. I got excited as their was a sign saying they had a $5 special on the shirts (shirts and baby stuff was all they had). When I got to to the cash register I was told the shirt was actually just 30% off not $5. As this wasn't that great a deal I decided to abandon ship. I think after this visit I will continue to stick with Gap or Banana... especially at the Outlet Mall or Hebron Clearance center.

I got in line at the front of the store that was for pickup and returns and an employee came by asking if anyone in line was there for a pick-up. She then retrieved my order and I was on my way. I was in the store less than 10 minutes. I'd use the pick up service again if needed.

My quest for a suit/suit coat for a wedding took me from one end of the men's clothing spectrum to the other. My first stop at another store had me trying on a fantastic sports coat that I later realized was priced at $1,200. I politely excused myself and headed for the other end of the spectrum. The other end didn't work for me either. When I went to this Jos A Banks store to get my coat tailored I looked at the rack in my size and knew I needed to bring my fashion consultant (wife) back to take a look. Between yesterday and today we spent about 4 hours in the store updating my aged wardrobe. Several coats, shirts, ties, and slacks later I'm very satisfied. I was also lucky enough to drop into a sale and find several coats on clearance that fit perfectly. And I have to admit that were it not for the sale I would have probably stopped with the one coat, slacks and shirt and made it work with one of my old ties. Joseph Banks happened to be running a promotion of "buy one, get one free" pants, so I called my dad (who is the store's biggest fan) and he came running down to meet us and get a good deal. The employee that helped us grabbed my boyfriend's sports coat and started pairing it with different pants until he had found the optimum pair. Unfortunately, the slacks that looked stunning with the jacket were not "ready-to-wear," they needed to be hemmed. We asked if there was any chance they could be hemmed before the store closed that evening but the employee told us the tailor was leaving as we spoke. He stopped us and ran to the back and five minutes later returned and said "go put them on so we can measure, they'll be done in less than an hour." Great! 45 minutes later we were called back to the store and my dad and boyfriend went in on an order together and got two pairs of nice dress slacks for $50 each! Not a bad deal at all. Great service and great clothing, I bought a cool pink and navy striped tie for my boyfriend while we were there.

Of course I had to take advantage of the sale rack. Ended up finding two sweaters for $13.99 and a pack of workout socks for $9.99. At checkout the cashier mentioned rewards program which is free. If you first sign up, you get 10% off your first purchase. Had to take advantage of that. Overall, I love H&M, good to know that I can shop at one even if I have to drive 40 minutes out of my way.
