Better upkept than Six Flags Vallejo…read more Quite enjoyable to walk around. Helpers/kids were quite polite and excited to be working here. The park is kept pretty clean too. The water park seems fun and crowded on a Sunday: will come back to check it out. Lots of parking spots yet also very crowded and crazy parking lot. The ride times on the app are way longer tha mm the actual wait times. They were mostly 15-30 mins wait: not bad at all. Will come again. Drinks, Starbucks, snacks are 10% off if you have a Gold Pass. Of course Starbucks are more expensive at CGA than outside, which would be common.

It feels crazy being able to come back now with the family I created! My son and my partner had so much fun exploring Great America together! My son is 4 years old, and I absolutely love how diverse the park is when it comes to rides. They have everything from a younger kids section to roller coasters for the bigger kids and adults! The water section was actually new to me! Every time I've come to Great America, I've never used this specific section, but it was so much fun! There were lots of waterfalls, slides, and different areas for the kids to enjoy. I would definitely say check this place out whether you're looking for a fun date night or even a family day!

Oh, this roller coaster…read more This roller coaster great America must be the oldest roller coaster in the area or something. I personally cannot probably go on it anymore because whenever I do I get a huge headache. It really shakes it's not good at all and I just have a hard time having any fun on it whatsoever. If you're into that old wooden roller coaster field and go right ahead. Recommend skipping.

Fun fun fun fact seriously try to sit with all adults as if you ride with kids even if they are behind you both share the same lap bar so if one closes it on you it's really right even for me! There are a few seat belts and the one that attaches to the bar to make it just that much tighter on you so don't forget about that little thing because you know you want it on! Once you've been strapped down to the car you try going and that's when you realize this whole becoming restrained part was totally worth it as you find yourself riding heavy down this radical wooden coaster like I said it rides heavy but you don't feel it as the whole ride is very smooth and just awesome coaster ride in it's own way which makes me kinda forget that I've been strapped down to the car the whole review through! One thing I've noticed at the park over the several few Grizzly rides is that the time of the ride opening seems to be later after the park is already open for a busy minute so plan accordingly! Overall awesome coaster for anyone but like I said don't ride with the kids if you don't have to!

The entire birthday party process was seamless from beginning to end. They provide a designated party area, you can order food directly through them, and their team brings everything out, sets things up, and handles the cleanup afterward. As a parent hosting a kids' birthday party, having so much taken care of for you makes a HUGE difference. I also felt the pricing was very reasonable for everything that was included. We added Danny the Dragon as our entertainment, and my son LOVED it! Danny interacted with the kids, played games with them, and made the celebration feel extra special. There was so much for the kids to do between the birthday activities, rides, playgrounds, and animals. My only regret was choosing the 1:30 PM party time instead of the earlier 10:30 AM option. If I could do it again, I would absolutely choose the morning time and make a full day of it. There is simply too much to see and do! Between enjoying the party itself, riding the rides, and seeing all of the animals, we ran out of time and didn't get to experience everything. We'll definitely be going back to finish what we missed! 100% recommend Happy Hollow for a child's birthday party. It was fun for the kids, easy for the adults, reasonably priced, and incredibly well organized. Such a wonderful place to celebrate a little one!

Very entertaining park for children while still lively and interesting for parents at the zoo…read more There was plenty of available parking, but it was a bit pricey. It was $10 for any amount of time, and a staff member consistently warned visitors entering about potential fines. Before the ticket booth, there were bronze sculptures of animals and funnily shaped characters. Notably, those in the sun were covered up, most likely to protect children from burns in the intense heat. There wasn't much of a crowd despite my weekend visit, and everyone was swift and friendly. We paid $22 per adult for entry. I highly recommend coming near opening, as the animals were being fed and were incredibly active. When I swung by some of the exhibits later in the day, many of them weren't out and about since there wasn't any food tempting them. One complaint would be how inaccurate the map was. While it depicted specific pathways, turns, and connections, it was nothing like that in reality. It was difficult to keep track of which animals we had seen as the exhibits were oriented differently throughout the park. Rides had specific hours when they were open, so if your child has a specific ride in mind, I would double-check the day's schedule. Otherwise, there were constant shows distributed throughout the day. The center of the park was perfect for picnics, as the grass was well maintained and there was some shade from the larger trees. Unfortunately, the jaguar was unavailable during my visit, but the other animals made up for it. I adored the capybaras and their intense munching on lettuce and carrots. My favorite had to be the fennec foxes as they pranced around in the sun. Not the largest zoo, but it was a fun supplement to the rides and amusement park. The animal exhibits alone were enough to keep me entertained, while the rides, shows, and picnic areas gave children plenty to do. I just wished the parking and admission were a bit cheaper.

Unfortunately we only had 7 so we couldn't do the 8 person reservation. I called to get info about wait times (I understand that they can't give me an exact estimate so I told them give me worse case scenario) and I was advised that the group of 7 could have some long wait times so we opted to just come up with 3 of us. Upon arrival, place was dead other than 2-3 staff members within sight. We asked the individual behind the counter some basic questions being first timers at that location, we ended up purchasing 2 races and we received 1 for free because it was Tuesday and that was just a deal they had. After they took our money they said "well it could be about 30 minutes until you all race" which we responded saying that it's totally fine we will hangout thank you. Well since we had 30 minutes to kill why not buy some arcade credits and mess around (very mediocre arcade at best). After we purchased arcade credits, about 15 minutes went buy another employee came up to us to let us know that if we wanted to race we would have to wait till about 4:45-5pm because a group rented out the facility and there's just nothing they can do. Keep in mind when we purchased our races, 2:23pm to be exact, we got told 30 minutes. Somehow between multiple phone calls to confirm before the long drive and the day of upon arrival purchasing our races not a single individual let us know about this possible booking. ALSO no we did not show up before this group event, they were already there. Which in their defense the employee giving us a refund said "well we are not allowed to tell people about bookings". Great totally understandable I run a business my self and I understand private information etc. however the lying of race times, letting us wait for a bit and following up with "if you don't take the refund we will give you 2 extra races" well thanks but I find it hard to believe we got the full reasoning behind the situation... also to add more context, no we weren't those customers causing issues, being overly loud, or causing any sort of issues. Civilized beings and in return got a pretty S*** end of the stick. K1 speed its self is great but this location is ran by some individuals that have zero interest in making the experience rememberable. K1s slogan "Arrive and Drive" they have printed on their business cards left out crucial information. Arrive and drive past. Keep your money and spend it with a business that will give you the proper attention. Not asking to be treated like royalty. Just some common decency.

You have to make a reservation I'm guessing so it doesn't get overpacked. As soon as you enter, there's a ton of indoor activities for the little. There's a dino area right outside and then on the other side is where the zoo part is. There's not a ton of animals but the animals that are there were pretty active when we were there. There was a tortoise, birds, rabbits, fish, flamingos that we actually got to feed and a few others that I'm forgetting. Again, not huge but it was enough that we probably spent about a good 2 hours there. After that, there's also a park right behind it so if your kiddos aren't tired already, they can burn off some energy there. If we lived closer, I would consider getting a pass but for now, we'll do some day trips there

During my first visit in May 2026, the admission was $14 per ticket for both an adult and toddler for the 10:00 a.m. reservation. If you're planning a birthday celebration or picnic, there are first-come, first-served tables at Rinconada Park next door. Venue The Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo is exactly that - it's a smaller, toddler-friendly museum and zoo. Plan to visit for an estimated 1.5 - 2 hours, as this should be plenty of time to explore everything. There are both indoor and outdoor experiences, including interactive activities for little ones, an outdoor zoo, complimentary flamingo feeding sessions, and a treehouse-style playground. Animals available included meerkats, flamingos, raccoons, fish, a tortoise, and macaws. Location / Parking The museum is right next to Rinconada Park and there's a dedicated parking lot. It can fill up quickly during popular reservation times and street parking is also available nearby. Customer Service The front desk staff scans admission tickets upon arrival and provides a stamp for in-and-out privileges, which is helpful if you plan to visit the neighboring Rinconada Park.
