I was looking everywhere for a freakin' tutu for a costume, and after visiting two popular shops in L5P which will remain nameless trying to sell tutus for an obscenely high price, I thought of Psycho Sisters, and found all my batshit-crazy costuming needs. If you need it and it has vinyl, spandex, glitter, tulle, rubber, neon paint, or anything in-between, this place's got it. Jam-packed to the brim with clothes, shoes, costume accessories, jewelry, scarves, whatever, this is the go-to spot for the finishing touches, that are just as crazy as think it is. Not to mention, the staff were hilarious, helpful, and just fun to talk to, to be honest. Oh my gosh. Came in here with one goal, to dress my boyfriend for Renaissance festival and we left with more than we could've asked for!! Had the absolute best experience. Jordan asked us exactly what we wanted and helped us find the perfect stuff! And on top of the great customer service, they were just the greatest person to speak to and hang out with, they were so much more than an employee during our experience. I love this store. Really, I do. I have a soft spot for vintage clothing and I have never left this place empty handed. However, it never seems to be that I can ever find jeans that fit me and jeans are something I rarely (if ever) buy new. So, I really depend on consignment shops to have all those cool jeans I just cannot justify spending 200 bucks on. The frustrating thing is that whoever is buying these clothes for the store does not seem to realize that some of us actually are a size 6... not a friggin' 2. They are all TINY! I am not asking for much. Just the occasional size 6 please! Other than that, the tops, coats, shoes, and accessories are way cool. It is a fun store too with really nice staff and lots to look at. Love! It's a bit cramped inside and you have to do a LOT of digging, but thank goodness for mostly decent prices and some pretty great finds. There's even some stuff for your man to paw through, and I've heard plenty of laughs from groups of guys checking out the 70s bell bottoms. The costumes can be pricey, but I think that's because the entire area of Little 5 knows that people think "HALLOWEEN" and shop there. Store owners are on to us and charge us more for something that really isn't worth that amount (yet we pay it anyway because of location). Aside from the costumes, it's a nice place to dig around bins of jewelry, sunglasses, piles of shoes, and plenty of clothes to find that perfect outfit for less. Not recommended if you're claustrophobic, though. You've been warned! read more

They have Betsy Johnson dresses and super cute stuff in addition to any 60's or 70's costumes you need. It reminds me of stores in Haight Ashbury, San Francisco. Super funky. Open late around Halloween & employees were helpful in suggesting costumes. Tiny dressing room with mirror out in common area. Some items were really poor quality. In general, costumes are on the expensive end. Also, when I got home I realized I got overcharged by $8 for an item I didn't purchase as 2 costumes came with headpieces and I bought 1 separate (charged for 2). They position themselves as a local vintage/ thrift shop store with unique costume items. I bought a halter top and an embroidered bra for around $30-40 each. The embroidered bra was actually a bit damaged before I bought it (some beads had fallen off), but it was my fault for not inspecting thoroughly, as I was in a rush. I was really disappointed to later find out that Amazon sells the EXACT same items I had purchased from Psycho Sisters for $15 or less. There is honestly no point of going to this store to pay twice to three times the amount listed online unless you can't wait for shipping. The store is cramped and the fitting rooms are dirty. This store is just the type of store for me....a little bit of everything with a funky little twist, and you know what??? That describes me perfectly. I was drawn to the jewelry and I bought several items of jewelry. This was my birthday weekend and I explained that to the cashier and she gave me a pair of Cancer (my Zodiac sign) earrings. I freakin love this store! The prices are usually really good! Ocaissionaly it will be over priced and just not worth what they are asking for but whateve. So much fun stuff to look at and add to your collection. But dont expect to run and run out, it takes a while to look at everything. Great selection of vintage costume attire. I came in search of a gaudy prom dress for a themed party and there were dozens to choose from. They have all different decades of costumes and different genres for pretty much any popular party theme. Costume accessories including wigs, tights, tutus, shoes and glasses. Prices were pretty average for most things, some others were a bit high. In the end, they were the only shop in the area that had what I was searching for so they are a winner in my book! read more

It takes an amazing shopping experience to get me out of a major review slump! Psycho sisters provided! I have been going to this store for years, stopping in, browsing, but never really buying anything. 3 star, meh all the way. Until....(key dramatic music) last week when I stopped in after seeing a sample sale sign in the window. I started browsing, as usual, and was greeted by a very friendly man who said the sample items were near the back. Now I don't discriminate and took my time looking through the other items and then JACKPOT! I found such gorgeous items at ridiculous prices. The same man sprinkled in with help and great peppy customer service making me feel special in this cramped place of delight. I left with two gorgeous Elegant tops (who knew, elegance in little 5) and a scarf that I dug out of a bin( elegant, with gorgeous beading). The lady at the front was awesome, quirky, and chatted with me about buying clothes and Stevie Nicks. Yep, I'll be a regular now. read more

Despite what others may say, I was truly impressed by the prices, the selection, and the service at this store. I really just started shopping at consignment shops, and I am a pretty conservative dresser, but even I picked up a few interesting pieces at this store (my favorite- a pair of wavy gold hoops). Oh, and the service cannot be beat at this store (Ex: The first time I walked by the store I walked in, took a quick look around, and saw a cute skirt that I thought about buying, but decided I would wait and come back. However, when I came back, like, 45 minutes later, it wasn't in the same spot. So I asked one of the ladies working there if she happened to know what I was talking about. She didn't, but spent 30 minutes looking around the store until she found it. Easily one of the nicest sales associates I have ever encountered). Compared to the other consignment shops in Little Five Points, I would say this has one of the most unique selections you can find. And probably some of the best prices. First time in here and I was diggin' it. Wasn't the place to find what I was looking for that day unfortunately, but I couldn't stop finding things I liked. My sister and mom were helping me shop and they even found things they wanted to try on and it was the only place that happened the whole day. If you're looking for help and someone to be super perky when you walk in the door, it may not happen here (or maybe it depends), but I enjoyed the freedom to look around and not be asked questions. Is psycho sisters a tight space -sure. Would I call it cramped- no.t the word I would use. The space is part of the charm -you want space move to to the suburbs or go to the mall. . The store itself is great with both used clothing as well new indie labels.What I don't like about this place is the staff has never been friendly. It feels like the consignment version of AA. or the opposite side of the Abercrombie stores. If your not a certain Type of customer they don't make you feel welcome. i have tried this place several times, but always end up with a bad taste in my mouth. at halloween i went in to buy a costume and noticed it was missing some of the pieces. the owner was working the register, when i pointed out the costume was missing pieces she then pulled out the pieces and tried to sell them to me. i explained to her that on the bag it said it came with the items and i shouldn't have to pay extra for those. she tried to give me some run around story. so i went and grab the same costume but a larger size same price and had all the pieces. she would not just give me the missing pieces for my costume. so i left and very upset. but once again i found my self in the store i believe in 2nd chance. when i walked i i saw the owner screaming at her employees and throwing the clothes all over the ground. . i left feeling so bad for the girls working there. I had a big garage sale one weekend and here comes the owner of the store looking at my clothes i had for sale. they were all priced $2-$5. i had so many and just wanted them gone. she had a big pile and was telling me how she has a store and blah blah blah and offered me 50 cents per item i told her no. she was very upset. but i will never go back there now knowing she gets her clothes and then prices the was she does at her store its very over priced. read more
