I'm really disappointed in how this salon handles feedback. During my service, my technician became visibly annoyed when I didn't like the mixed color (mixed color that usually makes it harder to visualize the final result) she suggested. To avoid further tension, I picked a different color under pressure. I contacted them afterward, and the response was incredibly unprofessional. Management argued with me via text, citing "camera footage" to claim I wasn't actually uncomfortable. It's a shame that being polite and "smiling" while leaving is being used against me to deny that the service was tense. They offered a small discount for a redo ($15 instead of $25), but at this point, I'd rather go to a salon where the staff is actually friendly and I don't have to argue with management just to be heard. Edit: The owner ignored my private text regarding a technician speaking poorly about me, yet chose to respond publicly instead. This lack of professionalism is exactly why I requested a female technician. Furthermore, at no point was I offered a redo or even a basic apology for the hostile environment. Beware: if the staff is comfortable speaking negatively about clients in the salon, your experience won't be any different. Check the attitude before this business fails. RIP and good luck read more

I got my toes done here with Kim and honesty it was the worst, not her but her work I went in with lengthy toe nails nicely square shaped, not thinking she could mess up a pedicure since it's what she does on a day to day basis. She cut my big toes unevenly one is shorter than the other and she cut the sides (not sure if she assumed I had ingrown nails) that she couldn't define a square shape anymore she cut the nail so short she had to do a round shape after having long square nails it's just frustrating because I requested a trim and received uneven length rounded nails, she also was charging me an extra $10 for callous removal but used a sponge to rub on my feet? I would assume for $10 you would use a grader or whatever it's called anyways the shaping was horrible she had a great canvas to work with and still managed to mess up. I think that before a service they should ask what the clients request is and if they can't do it then they should say that because it led me to write a review i like to take care of my toe nails especially when it comes to shaping not really on color or design and I specified and still got half ass work I would have preferred for her to tell me she's not the best at it then let me walk out unhappy with uneven toenails i would have requested a color change bc it took me 3 months to fix a previous mess up from another chop shop so definitely don't recommend Kim unless you want uneven length in nails. read more

I haven't gotten my nails done in years and wanted to treat myself to a full set of gel nails. The design I wanted was a nude base, with an ombre from red to black. I set an appointment for a full gel nail set. My appointment was with the son. I told him what colors I wanted and showed him a picture of the design for reference. I said that I wanted the nude color to be more like my skin tone. I am African American. He barely glanced at the photo and cut me off saying "OK a nude." I agreed, thinking he understood I wanted a nude tone that was appropriate for me. Long story short: While using the nail drill, he drilled my skin, hurting my fingers multiple times. The nude was not my skin tone. It was very light, and the ombre was purple. I didn't notice the colors were wrong until he started putting on the purple. (There was zero interaction, so I just watched the TV overhead) When I noticed the colors, I was surprised and annoyed, but I felt I couldn't do much. I also generally avoid confrontation. The icing on the cake is that I went to a different nail salon for a fill, and they told me that my nails weren't a gel set. They were acrylic. I didn't notice because I rarely got my nails done, and I didn't smell any acrylic when he was doing my nails (you know how loud that smell is). In conclusion, I got nothing I asked for. The job was rushed, even though the place was empty, and I experienced some pain from the nail drill. Needless to say, I won't be going back, which may have been his goal all along. Edit: The response I have received from the owner is both disappointing and defensive, though not surprising. I admitted to not speaking up, yet their reaction is to double down and blame me. Due to the reasons stated above (which they may not have read or comprehended), I waited to disclose my experience in this review. As a professional, it is their job to know what service their client booked and do the correct one. I hope that in the future, they will treat every single client with more care and attention. read more

I don't like to post bad reviews but this establishment left me no choice. I've been here a couple times, but the last time left me with a horrible experience. I asked the lady for French ombré, and instead of just saying she didn't know how, she just went on to do something not even close to French ombré and not prepping my nails correctly. She eventually told the guy that works there to take over once I told her I didn't like them. Even so, he still didn't using the correct technique for ombré and left me with ugly nails (shown in the pics). When I expressed my concerns and for a refund the response I got was to come back for a redo, which I definitely did not want to do there. Went to this shop about 5 weeks ago while in town. Everything was great so decided to go back this week. Called and asked about availability and was told they could accommodate me and my mother in law. Got there waited with feet soaking for 20-25 min then when she got to me she took a chunk off my skin with the electric nail file. Sure she was sorry but then she charged me full price and over charged me for my MIL gel pedicure. Sign said $40 and she charged $50. If I could leave no stars, I would. I called and upon me going in person, asked multiple times if they did dip. They all told me yes... I picked out my color and as the woman is shaving down my first nail, she says they do not do dip. It's too late to go back at this point. I was fine with it. Was okay doing gel and getting an almond shape. They shaved down my nails to the point where now they are super tender to the touch - extremely raw. The almond shape differed from each nail and the woman slipped the shaving machine under my nails on accident a couple of times. I asked her to forget the gel, cut them down all and just do a top coat as I was in pain and frustrated. She left my nails in different shapes, sizes, and tender. I asked to speak to someone about this since they looked awful and I was gaslit, being told this is what I asked for. I believe the person who was the manager was next to her station and the entire time didn't say anything. I called about 20 minutes prior for a walk in, when I arrived I was helped within 15 minutes (super quick for a walk-in plus they had a lot of people there!) It was clean they had Tv's and music and the environment was relaxing. I absolutely adore my nails, I wanted nezuko inspired nails and she delivered based on the photo I gave her!! She color matched and perfectly designed them to my liking, additionally the shape and length she made sure to continue to ask if I liked them/ asking after each step if I was okay with it. First off I was not greeted upon walking in, I stood there for what felt like forever like an idiot just waiting for someone to say something to me as it was my first time. I assumed the callus remover was included with the more expensive pedicure as it usually is, but when it came time she told me it was again another charge I told her I thought it was included but it's ok I'll pay for it cuz I want it done. She said she would do it even tho it wasn't included but she didn't she just used the scrub included and my feet are not soft like I had hoped, my massage was decent and the lady was really nice (older lady). While sitting there during my massage however I was hit in the shoulder by a lady's nail 2 chairs over. I know they can't control it but they shouldn't be flying all over the salon. All in all I give this place 1 star, it was clean and I needed a pedicure, they were available but my paint job is mediocre at best and I had to tell her to fix one of my nails as it was really bad, and she used the nail file on my skin to remove some gel which hurt and left my skin all red. Honestly for the price, I wish I had just waited for my normal place later in the day. I am doing this review not to really bash the salon but to have a constructive opinion on what had happened to me at my appt. I had an appointment at 1pm and didnt wait for a long time to be seated because literally two people only in the salon. So Steve sat me for pedicure, initially that was my appt but I ask if he has time to also do manicure and he said yes, so I went ahead and said to have mani and pedi. I asked if it includes the nail polish and he said yes. During this time he was doing my nails, the tv is on which is fine but he is not focus 100% with what he was doing and on top of that he was also on his phone. I dont mind those things as long as the job is getting done accordingly. I havent done my nails in a long time and I know that I needed more of pushing and cutting cuticles than what he did today. Boy am I grateful I walked into this salon. My past few sets have come from waterfall nail and I was always struggling getting the shape I wanted. I wanted a medium length gel full set. Steve did amazing. Man he took his time and the appointment was a bit longer than I was used to but that's because I was extremely picky with the shape and the filing. He took into consideration everything I was saying, has me stop along the way and check multiple times. And even when I said they were good, he took a closer look and saw that two nails were crooked!
