I have been a member of the Zionsville Stretch Zone for the last 12 months. I started off working…read morewith Jorge and had an EXCELLENT experience. I had back pain that had been very chronic for years. After working with Jorge not only did he help me to relieve the pain via stretching, he was able to pinpoint the source of the pain in general (left piriformis tightening). When I first began, I picked the plan that had me going a few times a week for three months, then kept the maintenance plan for 1 time per week. At some point Jorge left Stretch Zone and I was shuffled around to different people WHEN I could get in. I believe Chera, Raeven, and Francois were the main people. I have zero complaints with any of them. The appointment that I had last night was the nail in the coffin for what had been a pretty good experience. I was given a novice practitioner. She seemed to be very young and admitted that she was brand new to stretching and Stretch Zone. She did her best overall but her technique was causing more pain in my body than actually relieving any. I finally ended up ending the stretching session because every time I would attempt to help her understand what she was doing that was "off" she would tell me that she was doing things "by the book". I left out of session in pain. This morning, I woke up feeling like I had been hit by a truck. I called the manager "Tye" today for two reasons: 1. To let him know what occurred and to ask to have my session reinstated since I had such a poor experience. 2. To encourage him to offer more training for the practitioner because she didn't seem to know what she was doing in comparison to all of the other practitioners that I have had since being a member at this facility. Tye's attitude initially seemed like he wanted to be helpful. He took up for his employee (which is to be expected). He claimed that he has given her extensive training, and that he has had nothing but rave reviews as far as her performance. This comment seemed a little off considering that she told me that she just started and had actually JUST gotten back from Florida, She said that she had simply been left to work at the facility by herself. Tye then told me that since I had not been to the facility in the past couple of weeks, it was more likely a "me" issue and not a "her" issue. His tone by the end of the conversation was somewhat condescending and rude. It was at this point that I told him to simply cancel my membership. He told me that it would take 30 days. As a customer that has paid upwards of One to Two Thousand dollars to this facility out of my own pocket and who knows how much more from referrals, I should have, at the very least, been listened to. I gave constructive criticism and instead was met with a poor attitude and blame for a service that I paid for! He never even addressed the fact that I was caused physical pain by the novice practitioner. This is clearly a case of poor management. I hope that this facility actually does do a more thorough job of training their new hires before they leave them to run the facility alone. If not, they might themselves in lawsuit with someone who is irreparably injured. Update: I received a phone call from the regional manager, Jordan. He is actually the gentleman that did my initial assessment at Zionsville and was one of the reasons that I signed up for the membership. He was very helpful. He listened to my concerns and assured me that they would be addressed. He offered me a refund of this months fees and assured me that he would let me know if a new location would be opening closer to my home.

The stretch practitioners are passionate about what they do. The 30 minute stretch is amazing. I…read moreplay golf and it definitely helped my movement and energy. If you haven't experienced the free stretch, I highly recommend it!

I have terrible knots around my neck/shoulder area so I scheduled a 90 minute deep tissue massage…read morewith Jason. He did an INCREDIBLE job working them out with hot stones, and used a scraper which felt great! Most places charge those as add-ons but not only did he not charge me extra but since I was needing extra tlc he went way over the 90 minutes and didn't charge a penny more! He doesn't rush through, takes his time working on areas that need more attention. I've been looking for a massage therapist in Indy with hands like his so glad I found him. I don't write reviews so to do this is really saying something! I feel fantastic and can't wait for my next appointment with Jason!

Jason was very professional and immediately homed in on all my problem areas. He went right to…read morework and was extremely thorough, while also being cautious about working certain areas too aggressively. He was in communication with me throughout the entire massage, asking if I was comfortable or if the pressure was too light or too deep (it was always just right). He not only uses the power of his own hands, but he uses other modalities like cupping, hot rocks, massage gun, scraping, and probably some other things I don't know the name of. In addition to a massage license, he is skilled and/or certified in the field of physical therapy and sports medicine and even has an evaluation tool that he uses to help him (and his clients) visually pinpoint weakness areas (and probably other things!) so he can help correct that with recommended exercises and other therapies. The morning after my first visit with him, I got out of bed without stiffness. I didn't think that was ever going to be possible again. I have been very impressed with his breadth of knowledge and his skill and I will be going back for my third visit soon.
