I followed with PT at a very large hospital affiliated facility where I was lost within a sea of therapists and patients. My care consisted of a few exercises on my own and a pat on the back after 45 minutes and a "see you next time." My knee was developing a permanent bend which was painful to walk and caused a limp. I was told I would just have to live with it as they could do nothing to help me.... Then I was recommended to AIM Orthopedics in Little Falls. I had my Dr write a new script and met with Shannon who is a Doctor of Physical Therapy as is the other therapist there. Shannon evaluated my condition and proceeded to tailor a course of action specific to my needs... The personal attention I received from the beginning of my sessions to the end was nothing less than monumental. With a concentration on massage with manipulation and properly monitored exercises my knee bend is steadily improving and I'm encouraged I will be able to walk normal once again without pain. In my life I've been to several other Physical Therapist however never have I received such care. There is s significant difference in treating with a Doctor of Physical Therapy as Shannon is. She has knowledge of the body's systems and is trained to recognize movement impairments and manage pain. I'm thankful for Shannon and feel improvement with each session.
