The price is good, but for the same price and more facilities, you can go to Spokane Fitness Center or MUV. Their employees are almost always on their phone which I get, its boring, but at least be available for help. I've seen people waiting at the desk for a good 10 min while they're walking around on their phone. I eventually had to leave because I saw one of the blonde girls that wears a gallon of make up that works there doing some kind of shady deal with money outside the gym as I was leaving and she would bring her kid in and he'd run around the weights area while I'm power lifting. I'm not trying to have a kid run around me while I'm lifting. To top the experience off I went to cancel my membership, I cancelled it and they cancelled it on their end, but then restarted billing me out of nowhere a month after my membership was cancelled and the manager, Randy, wouldn't refund the $100 I got charged for those months even though it was a fault on their part when I just found out about it. Save the headache, go somewhere that's more professional and puts their gym goers first.

We are seniors and have to be a little more careful these days. First and foremost, we've never seen a cleaner gym. No dust bunnies here. The staff vacuums the floor and sprays down the equipment throughout the day. There are spray bottles with cleaner and towels available when you enter. There is a vast array of equipment, classes and trainers. Even if you aren't working with a trainer, the staff is more than accommodating when it comes to questions. The owners and the staff are just plain nice and happy to see you each time you come in. They have a long stretch of grass about 6 ft wide in the front of the gum. Fast-forward a year, I get a notice from a collection agency that we owe Legacy Boxing $636. I called Shad again, and he told me that he doesn't handle billing anymore for this reason. Billing department is pressing forward with forcing us to pay the fees, even though we did not use this club (we moved away!!) and were reassured verbally that the membership was canceled. (They now have a cancellation link, but they didn't a year ago. Or if they did, they didn't tell us about it.) My instinct is that this club is struggling financially and now they are engaging in fraudulent practices to try to get money wherever they can. Do not give them your credit card number, or you'll never be free of these people!

To give you some perspective I was member for about 5 months and while not very flashy it does get the job done if you're looking for a no-frills sort of place to work out. I'd say the two most attractive aspects of it are the location (right in the heart of downtown and they have parking) and the price (very reasonable for month to month members). Both of these factored in heavily to me deciding to join. Once you're actually in the gym they'll pretty much have everything you're looking for plus a few bonuses. They have your standard assortment of free weights, machines and cardio. In addition, they have a basketball court, spinning room and pool. So it's not that they are lacking anything, it's more like things aren't as great as they seem at first. Once you start looking below the surface is when you start coming up with issues. I'll start with the basketball court/setup. The court and goals are fine. But there is legitimately only one decent basketball worth playing with. If someone has that then you're kind of out of luck and will have to grab some of the tatter crappy ones. The cardio room is loaded with machines but the electronics on so many of them are broken that it's pretty depressing. There are a few TVs but you have to get the employee to change the channel for you which a pain. They also don't let you keep the remote so there is no channel surfing. You better know what you want to watch. There also isn't any audio for the TVs. There are subtitles but if that isn't your thing then I'd suggest downloading the Tunity ap so you can stream the audio in. The bathroom and locker room just aren't 360's strong point. It's rather dated and people are constantly leaving stuff and not cleaning up after themselves. One of my biggest gripes was that, while part of the gym is open 24 hours a day, the other parts were consistently not open when they should have been. To elaborate, you always have access to the main floor weights and cardio. But the second floor and pool are locked and only open when there is an employee present. I seriously lost count of how many times these should have been open but no employee showed up. Again, pluses and minuses. And if was I was still in CDA I would probably still be a member so it gets 3 stars. You'll be able to get in a decent workout. Just know what you're getting into.

Instead of making it right and canceling that and reading their notes about which card to refund too, and also, calling to verify if that is a good card, they just refunded it incorrectly. Then instead of answering my emails, are calling to try and figure it out and work it out. I informed you of exactly how to make it right, and yes I was in billing and insurance so making excuses is not my favorite thing and shows unprofessionalism. Until this situation is resolved CORRECTLY, I will not be "on the phone" you can reach me via email, since you didn't want to answer my call for 5 weeks regarding this issue. Thanks.

I told them they could credit the additional $25 I didn't need change. They then proceeded to tell me they couldn't see me because of my form of payment. We do not accept cash as a payment ! What kind of an American business does not accept cash for payment. It's legal tender for all debts public and private. This is ridiculous and a ridiculous business practice!
