Biju is different and not only looked the part but has also demonstrated over the course of ~20 workouts a deep knowledge of each muscle group, which movements target each specific muscles, and how to get the most gains out of workouts. I'm impressed by the physical changes of my body over a short time and how no two workouts are ever the same. Each session is one hour and targets two muscle groups (back/biceps, chest/triceps, and shoulders/legs). I also appreciated that he doesn't focus on any injury prone / dangerous movements as past trainers have had me do exercises that inevitably lead to a hurt back etc. which put me out of action for several weeks. I highly recommend Biju and you won't find a better trainer in Spokane if you want to focus on building muscle. His prices are also very reasonable and they are a well run family business.

There are no mandatory classes or strict schedules; you can come in whenever you want, and KJay is always super accommodating, trying to be there for your workouts. Fast-forward a year, I get a notice from a collection agency that we owe Legacy Boxing $636. I called Shad again, and he told me that he doesn't handle billing anymore for this reason. Billing department is pressing forward with forcing us to pay the fees, even though we did not use this club (we moved away!!) and were reassured verbally that the membership was canceled. (They now have a cancellation link, but they didn't a year ago. Or if they did, they didn't tell us about it.) My instinct is that this club is struggling financially and now they are engaging in fraudulent practices to try to get money wherever they can. Do not give them your credit card number, or you'll never be free of these people!
