We found Pub 20 tonight while at The Holiday Inn Express. We typically go to the restaurant in the parking lot but they didn't have space for us tonight so we drove a bit and were really happy we did! Craft beer, great food, and quick service. My 11-year-old said it was the best buttered noodles she's ever had. The chicken parm was huge, the poutine was fantastic and everyone left happy. read more

We also stayed at the Holiday Inn and used Yelp reviews to select this restaurant. I can't believe that no one mentioned how unbelievably dark the restaurant is for starters. My husband ordered fish that took a half an hour to bake, it was very dry despite being specifically made. My pork chop was good but the accompanying risotto tasted strange and I only had a bite.During the night I was ill and feel certain that it was caused by spoiled risotto. I wish I could add another good review but our experience was very disappointing although our waitress was very nice. read more

Traveling to Cleveland with my husband and brother and we were looking for a spot open a little later, this was one of a few options. The restraint was pretty empty but it was about 8:15 on a Tuesday. Server was nice and welcoming. We ordered the spicy chicken bacon ranch sandwich, the Swiss patty melt and the chicken quesadilla. Everything was excellent! They remembered to make the fries well and I asked for a side of the house made ranch and it was so good! Before we left the server asked if we liked lemon cake, some one had a party there and there were three pieces left. She gave them to us for free, it was so nice of her! If we're ever back out this way we will definitely be back!! read more

Also known as The Ruffed Grouse. We went for dinner with low expectations and were overwhelmingly surprised at the service and cuisine. -- service: excellent. Our waters were always filled. Our appetizers, salads, and entrees were perfectly spaced. Extra napkins and other needs were anticipated before even asking. -- food: excellent! Osso Bucco, duck breast, scallops with Parmesan bacon sauce, Cajun shrimp pasta. All delightful! Prices were competitive and overall we were more than satisfied with our meal. -- ambiance: satisfactory. Comfortable chairs and table spacing, but the volume was loud (bar is nearby) and the single stall gender specific restrooms are antiquated and in need of a remodel. read more

We come to the Pub 20 often, and it never disappoints us. The waitresses are friendly, smily, and efficient. The specials, such as scallops are delicious. We enjoy the haddock, no matter how it's prepared, baked, fried, or blackened The burgers are great, especially the Patty Melt. We really enjoy the wings on Wednesday, too. I had driven past the place hundreds of times over the years and thought it was just a watering hole. From the outside I was hesitant to go in. The parking lot is tiny and full and thought a wait was in store for a table but as it turns out it much larger place. I was very impressed by the food as were the other two with me. Huge chic parm was made from scratch as was the chic Al fresco. I had a double cut pork chop which was outstanding. Don't judge the book by it's cover. Give them a try. Local gem. read more

I am so pleased every time we go to Pub 20 for dinner. There menu selection is great making it difficult to decide what to order! Their salads cannot be compared with other restaurants in the area. The lettuce is fresh every time. Their Harvest salad is the best. The food is prepared and presented beautifully. Parmesan crusted salmon is amazing! My son had the flat iron steak with shrimp and was very pleased with the entire meal. The steak was perfectly cooked and very tender. We went to Club 20 ( formerly the Ruffed Grouse) for the second time in two nights. The main reason for doubling up was 1. It was very good last night and 2. We were fairly sure they couldn't repeat the bang up job they did on the first night! Well we were proven wrong and Club 20 has proven itself to be the best eatery in North East. In two night I had the double chop and the duck breast both were perfectly prepared and delicious the sauces highlighted the meats without overpowering. Wife had the shrimp creole and the Neptune steak. She said the flank steak was the best she ever had and the shrimp were delicious but maybe a little over sauced. Daughter had the veal piccata and scallops both of which exceed our expectations for a small joint on route 20. Finally my son in law had the oso buco and the bahn mi the pork shank was fall off the bone tender with a lovely savory flavor that left you wanting more! The bahn mi sandwich was HUGE and he rated it a 6-7 out of ten so that was the low side of the dinners we had which in my opinion isn't to shabby. The atmosphere is very homey and the waitresses and the kitchen keep the meals moving right along. Apps, salads and entrees were served promptly waters or drinks were always full. The only downside may be that the interior is dated but with the food they are serving they should be able to renovate in no time! read more

Wing night is Wednesday. Homemade ranch. Cold beer. Everything we've had had been good. Can't wait to try the fish and chips

My family likes to go to this restaurant. Their chicken wings, fries, nachos, French Dips and burgers are excellent. The wait staff is prompt and pleasant. We went in the other night when it was packed, we got the only table available. We were in and out in no time. You gotta love that... The only item I didn't care too much for was the Cincinnati Chili. Although it is the closest thing I've had to real Cincinnati Chili in these parts... it is missing an ingredient or two. Other than that, we enjoyed everything that we have tried. read more

Food is delicious. I just had the onion soup and it was amazing. The fries are super airy and a perfect combination with malt vinegar-if you are into that and perhaps not on a date ;) The waitress is an absolutely standout in service. The owners are caring and innovating with recipes and trying new things. I love that when I come here there is always something new. read more

We stopped in for dinner last week. While there is a separate dining room we chose to sit at the bar. The staff as well as the other customers were very friendly. The glasses are kept in a fridge do you're sure to get a cold drink. There were so many choices. I had the French Dip and my husband had a burger. Both were very good. And the steak salads that the people near us had looked excellent. This is a place even my fussy husband wants to return to. read more

Went here with a group of friends and sat outside on their back patio. The server was less than nice and it took about 95 minutes to get our food, which was cold when we finally got it. Went here last week with some friends from out of town. We were so happy to find a place that had something better to offer than most if not all other local restaurants (ie: frozen food out of a bag thrown into a fryer). I was seriously thrilled that they actually had things on their menu that were made from scratch. We got the homemade chips & salsa and sweet potato fries to start. Both were super yummy. I got the burger (fresh meat and big- 1/3 lb), my husband got the quesadilla (he loved it and it was also a huge portion), and our friends got a salad (dark greens and lots of veggies) and the veggie Boca burger. Service was fast and friendly. So the reason I'm only giving 3 stars is because the atmosphere is lousy. There's a bar and a dining room... But it might as well be all in one because of the noise level. the dining room is one huge room with no dividers. It's mostly square tables that are too close together, and a few booths that have low back seating. No options for privacy anywhere and you feel like you're part of everyone's conversation. Hard to relax in that. If you're looking for good food and don't care about noise/atmosphere, definitely check this place out! Oh and good prices! I think it was about $5 for an app, $8-10 for the meals. Ps. Please offer gluten free burger buns and/or breads so that the gluten intolerant people can enjoy your burgers! I got mine with no bread and the burger itself was delish... I only wish I could've had the full experience! read more
