My husband and I have been frequent flyers at the South Sioux Don'$ location. We're very excited…read morethey've been able to expand. I'm going to try and not make this review a comparison between the two. The location isn't the easiest to get to, but parking is ample. It's also connected to a family fun center and a bowling alley. Right across the lot is the city's minor-minor-minor (I don't know the official term) baseball league home. It's all next to an ice rink that is used for sports and recreation. It's a great family-friendly area of Sioux City. Food is the same as the SSC location which is wonderful. They have the BEST burgers in town. I also LOVE their fries. The only thing not making these restaurants my favorites is the ranch dressing. They just use generic, bottled ranch. It's not good. I'd kill if they made actual 'restaurant' ranch. I've literally brought in my own ramekin of ranch when I'm craving a meal I usually eat with it. BUT, the brown gravy and queso are to die for. It would be a part of my last meal. Staff is great. This area has a smaller bar than the SSC area, but the bartenders whip up everything the same. I don't drink, but they're down for their margaritas. This place is kinda like a locally-owned Chilis, but with better food. A great place for even a couple drinks and some poutine.

After going to the once-only location in South Sioux City, I'm glad they decided to expand here and…read morethat it's inside the former Clyde's restaurant and pub, and right by MercyOne Field and down the hill from the neighborhood I live in. They have outstanding food and service and that there is a bowling alley inside the building for anyone who wants to have some fun.

I'm reviewing this restaurant with bullet statements…read more 1. The service is extremely slow for these reasons: A. Not enough staff B. A constant turn over in staff C. Only two POS for the servers which are together and not centrally located. D. Only one POS at the bar E. The servers take orders from several tables before visiting the one POS. This causes all the servers to stand around the POS waiting their turn. This also bombards the kitchen. 2. The food is just okay. There isn't one item on the menu that I would call their signature dish. If you have a lot of time to kill and don't mind waiting 30-40 minutes for your next beer, or an hour for your food, then maybe this is the place for you. I'm done with this place.

My boyfriend and I stopped by the Castle Pub with his folks when we were in town for a few…read moregraduation parties last weekend, and we couldn't have been happier with the service! They do a great job with signage on each table to let guests know that, during certain hours, you need to visit the bar to get a drink. Both the beers on tap and cocktails our party ordered were great, and at just the right price point. The atmosphere is, of course, quirky, but it's unique and large and has plenty of room for large parties - plus, TVs! Definitely a bit of a dive but overall it was clean and the staff cared for each guest. NOTE: Children are not allowed in this location, so don't bring them. Unfortunately we didn't know that until we arrived so we had to tell the folks we planned to meet with to meet us elsewhere a little bit later, but we should have done some research in advance.
