Don't! Turn around,…read morego to the grocery store, get yourself a cooked salmon and a bag of lettuce. You'll save ten bucks. 1. I had to finish my salad with a leftover egg I had in the fridge. 2. I had to add my own dressing. 3. Tail end of the fish which makes an improperly cooked fish even drier. Conclusion: Extremely stingy portions. Both Protein & Dressing. (SEE PIC.) Ok..... I had the Salmon Salad. The size of the salmon I would say was comical if I hadn't paid $19 for it. It was so overcooked and so thin that technically It could've been Salmon Jerky. The Salad itself, which was a combination of cabbage, shredded lettuce, cranberries and edamame with a tiny sliver of a small avocado cut in half on the side. lol. I mean honestly I can't take this review seriously. It was as if a 7 year old made me their first salad. Again, perhaps cute if It hadn't cost me $19. Service? Not great. Not terrible. They took my money and gave me my food. That pretty much sums it up at this Fish Market on Wednesday, April 8 2026 @ around 12 noon.

It's a fish market / mini take out seafood counter. A friendly young lady was there making the lunch specials right in front of you. My girlfriend introduced me to this place. She work around the corner. I meet her for lunch. We both got the seafood bowl with rice also can get with quinoa. Fresh fish and veggies. For $13 is was a deal. We took our food and walked down the beach and had our lunch. The fish was cook to order. We waited about 5 maybe 10 minutes. If you're in a rush my gf says you can call ahead and just pick it up. The rice bowl was yummy, had corn, avocado, onions, tomatoes, so on and topped with a spicy mayo sauce. Overall, I was impressed. I will be back.

The fish here is beautifully fresh and nicely displayed. If you're boycotting the grocery chains,…read morethis fishmonger nicely rounds out the other independent stores next door which include a butcher, baker, and green grocer. When we ambled in here one Saturday afternoon looking for some tuna, we found it a little difficult to get service. There weren't many customers but our questions were met with short answers. Then when we asked about holiday hours, we were told they were on the door. They were: but on a small piece of paper and tricky to spot. We felt like we'd insulted the clerk by asking her about them. We ended up buying our tuna down at Granville Island. The tuna here looked fresher, though. Next time I expect we will buy out tuna and other fresh fish here, but we'll be sure to wear our armor against the icy looks from staff.

Fresh mini scallops, squid, prawns, and mussels. He let us choose how much of each and was patient when we kept changing our minds. Apart from fresh, raw, seafood they also have frozen and premade dishes, sauces and other kitchenware you could need when cooking or eating seafood. Prices were a lot more reasonable than I expected.! What could be intimidating was a lovely experience! I'd go back here again for sure.

Our Yelp search led us to 1 Fish 2 Fish and now we order our Lobsters with them ever since. We eat Lobster 3 to 4 times a year for celebrations and have never been disappointed with the quality. Worth the 45 min drive one way across the border. Would recommend them in a heart beat to anyone looking for quality fresh seafood. Several cuts above anything that you'd at a regular market. The word is "fresh".

I can guarantee you I clean them better then they would (only because I spend more time on them) and to cut them I prefer larger pieces for baking so that isn't a big deal. But it takes time to clean up the mess (not that bad) So I thought I'll get them from 1fish2fish. But when I seen they want 18.00 a pound I said no way. I can buy sockeye for 10.00 per lb. So they are saying they want 8.00 a lb for cutting and wrapping? Not from me they are getting this price. You know if you would have not got so greedy with your prices you would have alot more business. Or maybe you are and the people that are paying this price have too much money in there wallets :) Sorry to say until your prices come down I will not be a customer. I gave you are 2 star only because you product is good :) So if you don't mind the prices then go for it!

This was quite the find and I'm still sort of processing it all. It's a hot sauce specialty shop,…read morebar, lounge and restaurant, but they don't have a proper kitchen. We found this as our initial destination had an absurd wait, and we left satisfied and pleasantly surprised. I saw pics online of what appeared to be large, juicy, and crispy fried chicken sandwiches sporting local hot sauces as the secret ingredients, and that's what brought us in. We ordered the crispy chicken sandwich with the Hot Duck chili crisp on it. Upon the bartenders rec we opted for the extra hot, which was a good call because it didn't really pack a punch to us chili heads, but had great flavor. The chicken was juicy and crispy, and the brioche bun was so soft and fluffy. All around a good sandwich, but we found it strange that they only offered it with chips, and no upgrade to fries, which were available as an add on order. As we ate our sandwich and waffle fries we realized there was no smell of oil in the air or sounds of a fryer, which had us scratching our heads. We looked for a hood too and noticed none. Eventually we realized that everything here is commercially air fried, which was both fun to learn and somewhat surprising. If this place had a fryer, it would be SO much better, but considering this limitation, it was solid. The sauce selection was huge too. I loved that you could taste them all and that they offered some amazing deals too. We found a few that warranted us checking a bag on the way back so we could enjoy them on the other side of the border, and I'm stoked they offer online ordering and shipping so we can get some more when they run out. All in all a solid experience. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. As a hot sauce store, this is a 5 star experience, as a restaurant, also good but just have the right expectations.

I came in to check for a sauce my friend asked for but stayed for a bite! Did I mention that this place is cheap AF!? I don't know how they do it but it's incredibly affordable and the quality of food is impressive! I got their Veggies on Fire (Cheddar, lettuce, sprouts, tomato, cucumber, green pepper, pickles, red onion, banana peppers, Dijon, spicy mayo - Hot Sauce: Dawson's Shawarma). This was $8. Plus I added waffle fries, which I don't even care for. But these were heavily seasoned and cooked to perfection. The sandwiches come with chips but you can't miss the fries. You can choose which breads you want and I choose sourdough. Highly recommend that you toast that bread. The sandwich was huge and staked with so many veggies. The hot sauce was very mild but paired so well. The service was phenomenal! Above and beyond and so friendly. The place gets quite busy, understandable, and they are still so patient and friendly. I can't wait to try their extensive menu and order their veggie friendly menu options! And, obvy, their 1000 hot sauces!
