They have a good variety of restaurants and a couple shops. It's a lot more chill than other places in Orlando I feel like, and seems to be mainly locals rather than tourists. We came for breakfast and I got Lineage Coffee, Papi's Burritos, and Gideon's Cookies. We sat outside and there's plenty of seating and open air concept outside. It has such a strong local vibe and it is cool to see a mix of smaller vendors alongside some more well known food spots. That said there are a few things worth noting. First, seating can be a challenge. There is plenty of outdoor seating but not much indoors. The day we went it was pretty hot and sitting outside was not the most enjoyable experience at times. Second, I fully support spending money at local businesses but the tipping culture here felt a bit excessive. I bought a bag of coffee beans with no drink and was prompted for a tip. I spent $45 for 12 pieces of chocolates at Oban Chocolatier and was asked for a tip there too. Same thing when I spent about $25 on four cookies at Gideon's Bakehouse. I am happy to support but it started to feel like a lot in a not enjoyable way. Third, the hours between vendors can be a bit awkward. We came around brunch time which worked for some spots but others were not open yet. For example, Domu does not open until dinner (5PM) and Gyukatsu Rose was not opening until later in the afternoon (3 PM) Overall, I think this is a great place to check out especially if you enjoy trying a variety of local spots. Just plan ahead for seating and timing and be prepared for lots of tip prompts along the way.

There was only one veggie stand I couldn't stand to even look at because their prices were outlandish. In my confusion and dismay, I got on the phone with my hubby to share my findings, or lack there of. All of the sudden a couple nearby who overheard me, told me to go two blocks down the road at 300 N US1 Hwy as one of the regular farmers market produce stands was not there today but their store is nearby. Let me tell you, it paid to be social today this lovely Chicago couple saved me! Not only did I find awesome produce, I found loads of organic and since we've been here (August), we have been so disheartened by Florida produce. Until today!!!! Plant Street Market is located in downtown Winter Garden and basically a food hall. Inside the…read morelarge building, you will find many different permanent vendors including, Crooked Can Brewery, the flagship of Plant Street, Jam Hot Chicken, Axom Coffee, Tea place, Empanada and Co., Bento Sushi, Michael's Ali Pizza, Sit Benji's Donuts, a BBQ place, a popcorn stand, mac and cheese stand, a cheese place, chocolate place, and then a butcher with food to buy and bring home. There are a ton of places! Inside and outside, there are plenty of tables and high tops to sit at. There is a lot of grassy areas outside for kids to run around as well. The best part of Plant Street is that everyone in your party can get something different but all sit together and enjoy each other's company. MY wife and I tend to do this alot. We order smaller things from a few booths and then share everything. During the weekends and then also throughout the year, Plant Street has events such as Octoberfest, pet adoption and live singers, to name a few. This usually will bring more people here and to be honest, parking can be tough. Their private parking lot is not incredibly large and also shares with a few restaurants across from them, not located inside the market. My wife and I try to go early when we visit. We want a table to sit down, even though you can easily walk around with your food. If you cannot find parking, there is a parking garage which will be a slight walk over. The parking garage is closer to where the farmer's market is. Everyone who works at the different vendors are always very nice. I believe they are Crooked Can employees, but people will walk around picking up your beer glasses for you. The prices are pretty reasonable as well. They are priced appropriate for what you get. I definitely recommend checking out Plant Street as this is one of our favorite local places to visit. ACES!

The longest line was for the Brewing June Café where they were brewing lots of matcha. Plenty of dogs wandering about with their handlers. A good time here on a nice cold day.

There were tons of fresh fruits and veggies that looked genuinely local and just-picked, plus plenty of tasty BBQ and hot sauces to sample (dangerously easy to get hooked). And the honey stands were a highlight, with friendly bees buzzing around like they were giving their stamp of approval. What really stood out was how welcoming everyone was. So many vendors were happy to share the story behind what they're selling, and you can tell they're proud of it. We ended up grabbing a bottle of honey and a bottle of BBQ sauce and still didn't spend more than $20.00. Already can't wait to go back.

Visited the Winter Garden Farmers Market this past weekend, and I have to say that this is probably…read morethe best farmers market in the Central FL area. Parking was easy, free, and conveniently located to all the festivities which is a huge plus. This is also one of the few local markets where I've actually seen a large selection of fresh produce and and farm goods available. It was refreshing to see so many people bring their market bags on wheels, wagons, etc. ready to purchase fresh fruits & veggies and support our local farmers. Beautiful watermelons, tomatoes, papaya, lettuces, corn, peppers, zucchini, and more. There's a good mix of vendors ranging from jewelry and handcrafted goods to food trucks and specialty food items. We got mango coladas, mango flower with tajin, breakfast tacos, and of course, kettle corn. Huge plus that there is the downtown splash pad for all the kids to play right in the middle of all the action. It was a HOT one and this was a great way for my little guy to cool off and burn some energy while we sat and enjoyed our food. If you have kids, I highly suggest they wear their swimsuits and bring some towels to dry off.

I came here on my recent visit to Florida and found a lot of great and unique products. I got a reusable shower loofah that I have been loving. I also got some local soap and some sprouted nut butter that was dark chocolate and espresso flavored-delicious! They have food, art and many more booths. I would highly recommend this market to anyone.
