In the first year of renting an outdoor unit it was broken into, they called and informed me about it. Once I got the unit downsized I decided to get an indoor unit for more security, I go to my unit one day, my lock is gone, so I go to the office and ask why my lock is gone and where my stuff is, the girl will not answer me, she basically ignores me I follow her outside she drives to my unit she unlocks it it has been broken into again & I had stuff stolen. This is supposed to be a secured facility but it's not secure, they have no video cameras and they can care less about your belongings and on top of that they raise the rent (without warning) by $35.00 every 6 months. I rented 2 storage units for 4 months. I removed all of my items from both units and swept the units. I spoke with the girl in the kiosk to return the keys. Nobody told me to remove the locks as well. She said to keep the keys because they will be changing the locks. Then they charged my card because I was on autopay, when I did not owe them any more money. They wouldn't ref my money stating I didn't remove the locks. I removed my card from their system so they wouldn't charge me for something I no longer had. I just received a email bill!! I went to the website because you will never get to speak to a live person. Their website said I have a zero balance and I took a screenshot of that! Major bait and swap. I signed up for a deal at $70 a month. I was told that was my rate They pretty much doubled the rate. I complained and they offer $119! I made my decisions based on what I feel was false representation and I am of the opinion that this was a bait and switch. You suck public storage! F- No trust, bad business. I will never use you again and will move out this month. Shame on you! They also make it hard to speak to a real person. Horrible customer service. I recently had a very disappointing experience with 1326 Dublin Road manager. I already have a unit at the location and reserved a 5x10 unit, but from the begining the manager acted as though she did not want to rent to me. Instead of assiting, she continusly made up excuses from an employee had quit, she was managing 3 diffrent locations, and that she didn't have anyone available to check the unit to verify it had been vacated and cleaned. She instructed me to call her the next day to confirm this had been done and as a reminder. I called her several times, left messages and text. No return call. Days later I contacted her again and nothing. I reach out to Public Storage customer service, and they inform the unit isn't available any longer. How is that when I have the reservation number. She initially told me that OSU student's store their belonging over the summer, so typically the small units aren't available until August (when school is back in session). I was told to keep checking the website, just in case. So, I was pleasantly surprised to find a 5X10 available. I quickly held it and called. So, it seems these units are promised to OSU, which leaves all other customers SOL. I'm waiting for corporate to call me back. I'm filing a formal complaint on this manager. read more

Public storage in S. Hamilton Rd. they're the worst company ever. I have a situation where I have some stuff in the unit and they are memory and I informed them of what I have in the unit that need to be kept and so I have told him that I understand that there is a balance that is due, and I am going to do the best that I possibly can to process as much payment as I possibly can and the property manager who his name is Reid and I have talked to him on the phone several time to trying to see if he can work anything around it. He says to me that he's unable to remove the lien fee, knowing that I explain him all the information that currently going on as the district manager, you would think he will take that as a consideration maybe he says OK let me try to work with you and see how things can go instead of that. He said it doesn't matter how much you pay to do unit I have not done anything to this guy nothing wrong at all and I said why if I cover two months worth of the unit bill and mind you I only owe two all need to cover not a good place to rent or to put your items read more

Went to get contents out our 2nd floor unit and their eleva was broke. We had not received any notice of this. we had rented a truck which was now useless. Additionally, we were trying to vacate the unit before the month turned over. I requested reimbursement for the truck and the rent waived for the new month because our stuff was basically being held hostage by PS. I got a $25 credit which was offensive. This location is extremely hilly which would require more salting during winter months. We pulled into the lot today and made our way up the ice ramp on the left side of the building and nearly slid off the side of the road into a ditch. The district manager assured me that they salted the last two days which is absolutely not possible. Extremely disappointed with the lack of safety precautions at this location. This business is not to be trusted. My payment increased on a regular basis without an explanation. I gave a move out date and was told to stop in the office to settle the final rent. I had to pay rent for the entire month and a $100 penalty/late fee today. It was the manager of this location, Pam, that told me to hold payment until the move out date, but she charged me the entire month and the late fee because she could. After paying the excessive amount for 10 days, Pam (the manager) kept driving past as we moved out. On the 1st trip, she showed her colors by shouting, David is that you? Who did she think it was my twin brother? I was just in her office. On the 3rd drive by, she shouted you can't block the driveway. The truck had never moved from her first drive by. I think we heard 3 times, is everything out? Hey Pam, I've paid rent for the entire month. I'm storing a can of Coke in there until the end of the month. I'm out of storage in my tiny home. Also, they are rarely open during posted office hours. I stopped by twice before today to try to settle the rent. read more

Pam, the Manager was great. Pam or Kellie were always available to answer any questions we had by phone. We have had several units at this Dublin storage. My husband and son cleaned out the unit we had this past week and Pam was there to speak to them after they were finished. She was very nice and helpful. The place is on a hill to get into the gate but ok once you get into the storage areas. I would recommend them, especially for a close storage place to downtown. read more

Office staff never present during the office hours posted. The door to the office would be locked with the lights turned off, yet it would be 3 pm, or 10 a.m, for example. Definitely not during the lunch hour when one would expect the office to be locked up. This was super frustrating because there was no way for me to use the carts they have for moving heavy items, since the carts are locked up. When Lisa was actually there, she was super unfriendly and acted put out that she had to deal with getting me the keys to the carts. I called management multiple times because of this, with no corrective action taken by management. I was told by management "well, you should call before you go to make sure someone is there." What?!? Shouldn't I be able to just assume if it's within business hours, that someone would be there? So strange! I also paid a for a "climate controlled" unit, yet it was SO hot in there anytime I went to my unit. They jack your rates up an extra $30 a month once you're in a unit for a bit. Not to mention, the hill up to this facility is nearly impossible to navigate, especially in the winter, or if you have big moving trucks! Needless to say, I have moved out of my unit and will never store with this facility again. I also warn all my friends to avoid it as well! read more

How to Explain Lisa... combine Deb from Napoleon Dynamite and Darla from Finding Nemo. She was a complete B**** when our moving company got stuck in the driveway. For anyone planning on using this storage rental place keep in mind that the slope from the road up to the gate entrance is a hard 6:1 ratio. You can see the damage that previous trucks have made in the asphalt from getting stuck. Also a current renter pulled in and said "you're not the only ones, at least 2 trucks get stuck a week at this place". But by dealing with Lisa and the incline to getting to my unit, I cannot wait until I can move my stuff out. read more

We dropped by here on a Saturday to clean out an old storage unit. Of course we lost the key after 3 years of not going to the unit and had to have a locksmith come and drill the lock off. The manager Kellie was really nice and helped us work with the locksmith when he had issues getting the lock off and when we asked a handful of questions throughout our move-out. The manager gave us the key to use one of their trolleys to move out stuff and lent us the broom to sweep out the unit for closing. Would highly recommend this location! read more

I am moving from a CubeSmart in to this location because I'm getting a bigger climate controlled space for half the price! Lisa in the office was very helpful. I worked with Lisa. When I signed in the middle of the month she stated if I move out on the same date I signed I would not have to pay the whole month. She requested that I give her a heads up before I move out. I did this and to my surprise she lied. When I moved out I went in and tried to work it out. Instead she decided to take a phone call and precede to give me the cold shoulder and said there was nothing she could do as this is their policy I still pay the whole month. She said they would clean the unit since I said I was done with it. I put my lock back on the unit after speaking with her. She said they would clean it right away. Why would I let them clean the unit and resell it making double when they lied to me. I'll never rent from publication storage again and have advised everyone I know to go elsewhere. I have rented storage units from several other companies and never had a problem with them. I also did not get scammed into buying their locks and insurance. They do not show that online. You have to look hard to find that information from them. The unit was clean overall but beware and read the fine print. Next time don't trust the people who work at the desk. read more

DO NOT RENT FROM PUBLIC STORAGE! The girl working the front desk did not seem to care that I was given the incorrect code to my unit so I could not access it for three days. When I went to cancel my unit, she said she couldn't do it and needed to contact someone else to do it so I could get a refund. My unit was supposed to start on the 12th, I went in on the 15th, but my cancellation was not processed for 6 days until the 21st. When the cancellation was processed, I was told I was all set and would be getting my money back. I then received an email that said I got a credit toward next month's rent so I called to understand and no one answered. When I called customer service, I was told it was my fault I would not be getting a refund because I did not request it within the first 24 hours and had tied up their unit preventing them from renting it out. I explained I went in 3 days after because I still was unable to get to my unit with a gate code that did not work and was unable to go in sooner due to their limited office hours, yet the bigger problem on their end is my cancellation was not processed until the 21st which is somehow my fault. In response to this, the customer service agent only condescendingly offered to read me the 24 hour cancellation policy. When I said I didn't need her to read me a policy, but understand that they prevented me from having access to my unit so I'm not sure how this is my fault. The customer service agent then asked if there was anything else she could do to help me and when I restated I wanted a refund or to talk with a manager, she did not address my desire to speak with a manager and told me I would not get a refund before telling me to have a good day and terminating the call. It is not my fault I could not access the unit so how is it my fault I cannot get a refund? read more

Due to a confusion on my account, i had to go into the office on Dublin Rd. Lisa, the rep, provided the worst customer service experience I have ever had. no stranger has ever been so rude . She was unable to answer my question and after a while told me to contact customer service. but this was before she told me she was "kicking me out of the office and locking the door". i had no idea what tigger her to be so rude, since she wasn't like that at first. there was another customer there and they notice how rude she was.
