TL/DR: After 2 months of renting storage price doubled, customer support unwilling to do anything…read more ***************************************** I needed storage for my college student. I loved that this location was a quick ride away from campus and was climate controlled. We rented a 5x5 unit and even with the administrative fee thought the pricing was reasonable. It was a bit frustrating to never deal with an actual person - while most things could be handled online just fine there were a few little things that could have been easily solved if I was able to work directly with someone (not the AI bot that answers the phones). You can eventually get through to a person - but it takes a lot of effort. Once we actually went there we were impressed with how clean the building was. It was relatively easy to get in and gain access to the unit. Just this week I received a notice that after 2 months the rent would DOUBLE. I called and eventually got a call back. I requested to know how often I should expect a rate increase. I was told that I was on a promo rate and this is now the normal rate. I said no, the promo was for the first month for $1. I was never told that there would be an increase. I was essentially told "too bad, this is the rate". I kept asking how I would know this was a promo rate and it would increase in 2 months. I was told it wasn't in writing anywhere, but I should have been told. I wasn't. I then asked how often I could expect rate increases. I was told that it was in the contract that they can raise them whenever (which it is, but seriously you would expect that there was some rhyme or reason to this) and they don't know how much or when. I hung up when it was evident that they didn't care and would do zero to help. I have rented storage units in the past and never had this experience or this poor of customer service when concerns were expressed. I had hoped this was going to be a location that I could patronize for all the time my student was here for school, but I see that will likely not be the reality. BEWARE - if your budget can take constant fluctuations in price - this could be the place for you, if not you may want to see what else is out there.

Nobody told me to remove the locks as well. She said to keep the keys because they will be changing the locks. Then they charged my card because I was on autopay, when I did not owe them any more money. They wouldn't ref my money stating I didn't remove the locks. I removed my card from their system so they wouldn't charge me for something I no longer had. I just received a email bill!! I went to the website because you will never get to speak to a live person. Their website said I have a zero balance and I took a screenshot of that! DO NOT USE AUTOPAY THEY WILL NEVER STOP CHARGING YOUR CARD!

This is a wannabee national company buying locations around the country. They overpay for their real estate, and then immediately push tenants for aggressive and frequent rent increases.
