I have a couple of storage rooms with them. I get a notice that (without notice) they are increasing my rate. Not just a few dollars but almost doubling it. I have no place to store my property until later this mo th, but they gouge you whenever they get the option and with the economy the way it is, that's really a horrible thing to do to a customer They could at least give a heads up. read more

Just moved out today I've had my stuff here for about a year. It is always super easy to get in and out and the security is great! Cathy (sp?) was the best!!! Do NOT use this location. This is a kiosk ran location and you won't be able to talk to anyone in case you have a problem. They said they have no record of 2 messages I sent requesting to close out my account and charged me for an extra month and a lock I didn't need. If you don't come here very often, send someone to check on your belongings frequently. We live in-town and have come to our unit to see things moved around that we didn't touch. We take pictures every time we leave and recently noticed things were moved around. We also have a hidden camera. Previously a unit we rented in another state was broken into and the lock replaced. These units have a way to access them without cutting the locks and this is what some places do and they act like they didn't break in. PS is shady all the way to the top and it's actually a racquet where employees steal. If you can go for a different company, do it. The only reason this place has two stars from me is because the location is convenient. read more

I went to visit my unit. I am curious why no one alerted me that my unit had been broken into again. This is the second time in months. All the boxes were opened and the contents stolen or thrown throughout the unit. AGAIN. I am deeply displeased with the lack of security and lack of concern. I was not notified the first time either. The only reason I found out the first time was because I was asked to replace the lock. The first time my unit was burglarized, I contacted the company, and they told me it wasn't their concern, and they do not promise to secure the goods. No discounts were granted nor even considered. read more

If I could give this property ZERO stars I would!!! Please do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere!!!! The manager at this property is the WORST!!! He is VERY RUDE and VERY LAZY. All he likes to do is sit and direct you to customer service instead of actually doing his job. Every time I go to this property the elevators are NEVER working. Today, I went to the property to take some things to my unit and I could not access my unit. The elevators were both down and the door to the stairwell was not working. Myself and another older lady went to the onsite managers door to see if he could open the stairwell. He said that he would NOT. I explained to him that there were several people who needed access and he said it was not his problem and he wasn't a mechanic. The lady that was with me he told her that you know that I do not like to be bothered on the weekends!!! Every time I have encountered him he has been unprofessional in his actions or lack thereof. He has no business being the onsite manager. Several people called in to report what was happening to customer service. They said they would notify the manager to come open the door but he never came!!! read more

Great facility with easy access but safely secure. Kimberly does a good job managing the facility and explaining access, unit, etc. The units are tall which gave me plenty of room to store my items as I was unsure if I would need a bigger unit. A few things to keep in mind: 1. You can get a better deal if you sign up online at publicstorage.com rather than walk in. 2. You will be required to have your items insured which will be an additional cost(minimum $11 per month). 3. Locks are provided for you, so you don't need to buy a lock from home depot. 4. Large push carts are available to take your items to your unit. 5. Units are temperature controlled, and elevators are big enough to move you large items. I highly recommend this facility. read more

I recently went there to inquiry about a storage and when advised of the rates, I immediately knew I needed a lower rate, but was running out of time. Kimberly only offered me quotes that were $160 and higher. Once I went online to officially make my reservation I discovered lower rates for same size...the only difference was the unit wasn't temperature controlled, which I informed her that I didn't need anyway. So the deal worked in my favor; however, she should have informed me of all choices. Next, when I got there to sign the lease, I was charged for a $ 20 lock without discussion. Once I inquired as to the bill, Kimberly said I needed a lock before leasing. I was extremely upset she didn't convey that information to me prior to the signing the lease because I would have purchased one a lot cheaper. I think it was poor customer service of not informing me appropriately so that I could make the informed decision of whether I wanted to use Public Storage's lock our purchased my own. read more
