    The only restroom on-site when the office is closed has been broken for 3 months and I just learned the company has no plans to fix.

    Very Very expensive. They charge 22 fee just to rent and make you get high price insurance.

This place is practically robbing my elderly, disabled mother's fixed income monthly. Stay far away from this place. Additionally, I was trying to access my elderly, disabled mother's unit after her locks had been cut. I am listed on her account as an authorized user. I called ahead before traveling 3 hours from Austin to make sure I would have access to the units because I was only going to deal with her units and she no longer lives in Dallas. It took 2 days to get a call back, and I only got a call back after utilizing their chat function. I was told by a manager I'd be able to access the units and replace the locks so I drove from Austin to Dallas. When I arrived on site, the staff told me due to policy, the account holder must be onsite. I asked them to check the notes on the account and explained that the manager told me I would have access to the units. They told me that I would need to reach out to the regional or district manager who would have the authority to "over ride" policy. I could call but it would take up to 48 hours to get a response. Again, I had already been trying to call for 48 hours. I was furious, but followed their instruction and went to lunch to cool off. I was gone for maybe 45 minutes and when I returned, the office was closed. At 2:30 pm on a weekday where they advertise that their hours are until 6pm. After many calls to the corporate office, it was escalated to a manager from a different store who had to come to this store and let me into my mom's units, and help the other customers waiting for the office to open. For units that cost $300+, this sort of customer service and support is unacceptable. At the very least, the office should be staffed to help customers. Is it too much to expect that the employees working (WHEN they actually show up to the office) should be the ones making the phone calls to managers to figure out if there are extenuating circumstances or approval? When I left to drive back to Austin, the office was still closed at 5pm and the restrooms onsite were locked. The only star is for Elizabeth, who deserves 5 stars and a better work environment other than Public Storage. She dropped everything to help me and I appreciated her help so much.

    The assistant manager/Sherry doesn't have good customer service and she doesn't know how to speak…read moreto customers in a good manner and I experienced that tonight around 11:00 pm when I put my gate code in and entered the property went to my unit and found that I had been over locked sometime earlier today 4/4/2026 and I paid my bill in full online on 4/3/2025 my space shouldn't have been overlooked. So I went to the office and rang the door bell no one answered so I rang the bell on the apartment that is attached to the office also no answer then I called and left a message, so then I went to the apartment located at the back of property and I knocked very lightly Assistant manager came to door I ask if she could tell me why I'm overlooked she was very rude when she told me I didn't pay my bill, I then told her that is wrong I paid Friday asked her if she could call the Manager she then told me I would have to take that up with Christina and that she wasn't fucking calling anybody for me, then her dog came running after me like it was going to bite me and I told the dog to get away from my then Sherry told me fuck off mother fucker and to get the fuck away from her door and that she wasn't helping me with shit, so I walked back to my space and got in my car entered my code and left the property sent another text message and an email to the property in Broadway Blvd, Garland Tx.

There's no mysterious fees during the move in and the lock is complimentary. Also access is 24 hours a day with no surprises like codes changing out of nowhere. The cost is a good value because it's rules are pretty basic...just follow them and everything will go smoothly. Not trying to slam the others but it's nothing like "snatch & grab" places like Public Storage or Extra Space Storage with extremely high turnover rates for auctions. Try it...drop my name if you go...
