I'm only giving 4 stars because of the staff that was present. Just got out of a traumatic event that forced me to move all my personal belongings in a storage unit, so this was my first time ever renting. Went to the front desk to ask a few questions and buy some boxes and the woman up front had terrible customer service. She was kinda rude and made me feel like I was bothering her or something? You can tell she doesn't like her job. Skip a few months later, I'm moving out, finally, so I call to ask some questions and I knew it was her that answered the phone because I recognized her voice and her tone. I have been with this storage facility for 4 years. They have terrible price increases and no reason given. You can currently go online and rent the exact same unit for $200 less a month. Don't use this place. Go somewhere else. read more

I was looking for a storage for my vehicle in Lawrenceville and noticed this location. The price was much cheaper than my other location in Duluth,Ga. Once I reserved the space I was called by a young lady and she was very professional and courteous and wanted to ensure that I didn't have any questions or concerns. She explained the entire process and made sure all of my questions were addressed. It gave me piece of mind knowing that my treasured vehicle would be stored at a location with an employee that had such a caring sprit sand professional personality. PLEASE BE AWARE. BATE AND SWITCH. 495 Buford Drive, Lawrenceville, GA. I was paying around $169 a month and not even 4 to 5 months later they increased it to $259. No even climate control. I am going to move my stuff asap, but just be aware. I have used Public storage for years. The first time at this location and nothing like this has ever happened. Greedy. This is over $100 increase. They went up on my unit without notifying me, $12.00 and not worth it. I will be cleaning out my unit and not using this rip off again.

I love the convenience of renting a unit with this location. I wish I had known it would be this easy sooner. I've been needing a unit since before the holidays but I thought I would have to go in person and decided to wait until after the holidays. Everything was done online and even accessing my unit was easy and fast. The only complaint is that I wish they would say somewhere that they provide locks automatically. I assumed I had to buy my own lock and wasted money and time with that, but turns out their provided lock was inside the unit all along. read more

Online rental process was easy and staff are friendly and efficient. Accessing gate with app is great and hours are til 9pm. Here's the problem: NO FLOOD LIGHTS ARE TURNED ON IN THE DARK ALLEYS WHERE THE UNITS ARE LOCATED. Beautiful lights are visible but not working. We brought our own work light and extension cord and there was an outside outlet right beside our unit; not working. Unloaded u-haul with i-phone light providing illumination in our unit. NOT a good value. The Public Storage on Riverside has been our main unit location for 8 years and they have lights that actually work. Get your act together! read more

I Have been a customer at public storage for 5+ years and have been satisfied with the units and the cost of storage in 3 different states. I recently downsized a storage unit and dealt with a gentleman named Reid and really appreciated and enjoyed the extraordinary service I received from Reid! He went out of his way to explain all the documents as week as the best options for me. Even loaned me his broom to sweep out the larger unit after it was empty. read more

Thank you so much for the great service I received from Reid. The golf cart broken down while he was out showing me storage units and let me tell you it was hot. Good location. I have rented a couple times now. Charlie is a nice and easy guy to deal with.

Customer service was great. Charlie was a great help and understanding. The only bad thing is that we paid $60 for storage we couldn't even use and no refund is allowed. That is messed up because we were screwed from using the storage because of a very bad moving company named Corporate Van Lines but Charlie explained nicely that it was policy and he wished he could help us more.
