I recently moved some household goods as the cargo for my dispatcher, company was Budget Moving Services and had an excellent experience from start to finish. being an owner-operator truck driver you never know what'll happen when you get 2-partial loads that are for 2-pick ups, and 2-deliveries all within 1600miles from Ashburn, Virginia to Denver, Colorado. working with Budget Moving as their carrier for moving these household goods went much more smooth than some of the other loads I handle for construction companies (their regulations and timelines are so much more strict) -- with this move I had a 5-7 day window; however I got both families their household goods within 3.5 days. The dispatcher for Budget Moving, and my dispatch who set this up both worked with eachother like 2-peas-in-a-pods; and were very organized and had everything handled quickly with all paperwork and everything else done before I even arrived at each of the jobs, and same with delivery. Having the paperwork handled for me before pickup and before delivery was outstanding!! And that did have a lot to do with Budget Moving services logistics team, and how organized and efficient they are, and I'm glad i ended up accepting this job to haul this cargo. Met some really lovely folks at pickup and delivery while I was driving this stuff to help them moving their household items. Might have to switch up some of what I'm hauling now after that experience... haven't had something go that smooth since I moved 5-pallets 200miles in the same state.... That showed me how well-organized and professional they were, and their movers at pickup and delivery were QUICK! making sure everything was packed and loaded with care. Both dispatch teams stayed in touch the whole way, which made the process feel easy and stress-free, and I know it also helped the customer feel relieved knowing their stuff was going to be there 2-days earlier. My relocation only needed those two pickups and two drop-offs across bout 1,600 miles, which kept things efficient and simple. They were very speedy, know what to do when to do it and how to do it correctly to minimize their time doing labor and loading. I have engaged Budget Moving Services three times now - for moves in Lawrenceville, Duluth, and Norcross. Everything about this moving experience was outstanding from phone call to them unloading the last pieces of furniture & boxes. Nicholas came out to our home initially to provide us an in-home estimate and patiently worked with me over the course of 7 months as details about the move kept changing. He ensured I had the right team of movers to handle my antique furniture. Nicholas, William, and the 5 man crew expertly handled every piece of furniture, without any damage to our previous household walls or doors, same went for our the walls at our new home. Same thing with all of the furniture. I could rave about this excellent team of hard-working movers nonstop for days! A day before the winter storm here in Georgia, William H - the operating manager, was willing to take on my moving request despite the extremely short notice, so I could move into my new apartment before the bad weather commenced. He and one of his colleagues promptly arrived at my previous residence and loaded all my furniture, household items and other valuables into their U-Haul in less than 60 minutes. After arriving at my new residence, they moved various items, including a Queen mattress, computer desk, the fine china from my kitchen, and more furniture/fragile items, up three flights of stairs in less than 2.5 hours. JOB REFERENCE # B7029381 I inquired about a move from Johns Creek, GA to Brooklyn, NY and was connected with budget movers and they asked me all the right questions about my move, and even brought items/situations up that i wasn't thinking about at that moment - I could tell that the sales representatives were well trained and knew what questions to ask, when to ask them, and especially for the delivery being in NYC I think that was also partially why she knew why and how to ask it due to their parking regulations and everything else NYC related. I went through the inventory with them, got a really good competitive price and they offered a full-service move for me (i guess they include all the packing loading unloading and reassembling of furniture into their basic price) which was nice so i didnt have much labor to do other that just pack my boxes! The labor crew who showed up did an excellent job.
