In preparation for our upcoming move, I've been looking around for a place to buy a large quantity of moving boxes. Target, U-Haul, etc. And I have been really surprised how much individual boxes cost. Husband did an internet search and found this place and we realized the cost per box was really great! And they offer all the side bits too, like tape guns, and bubble wrap, and packing paper. I called around 11:30am and explained what I would need and the lady helped me with pricing and options and I placed my order. And around 2:30pm I received a call saying my delivery would arrive shortly. And about a half hour later, it was here! Even in ATL Friday afternoon traffic. And delivery was free!!!!! (I think you do need to order a certain amount for the free part) Everyone I dealt with were as nice as could be. I so highly recommend them. I paid approximately $2,200 to move from a one-bedroom apartment into a two-bedroom condo, and what should have been an exciting day turned into a complete disaster. I was charged $178 per hour, and the movers worked from around 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM. For an hourly move, I was extremely disappointed with how slowly the job progressed. Even worse, my freshly painted walls were scraped, chipped, and damaged, several pieces of my furniture were damaged, and lamps were broken. I have photos documenting the condition they left my home and belongings in. I have no problem paying a premium price when I receive premium service, but that is absolutely not what I experienced. After paying such a large amount and dealing with all of the stress and damage, I was then told that I have to go through the process of filing an insurance claim for damage their movers caused. From a customer's perspective, this is incredibly frustrating. I paid your company to move my belongings safely. I should not now have to spend my own time chasing claims, estimates, repairs, and paperwork. I believe the company should take responsibility, arrange to repair the damage, and handle the insurance process on their end so that my home and belongings are restored to the condition they were in before the move. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend All My Sons Moving & Storage and I would not use them again.

So glad I did, because the notary was warm and friendly, interacted with my kids, was very professional and completed the notarization in a timely manner (and beautiful penmanship). Hired them for a two part move. First part was moving a mattress. That went fine second part was…read moremoving a large desk and credenza. They came with a U-Haul, a couple U-Haul blankets, and a u-Haul dolly. And 3 total men. When moving the desk the they were really struggling with getting it to the agreed upon place. When they did get it to the stairs they left a gigantic scratch in the flooring that will need to replace a few boards. From there there were tons of excuses of what happened. They blamed it on the weight, the equipment they had rented from U-Haul and a nail (which nobody could find) in the flooring. They stated they had insurance so asked them to provide the proof of insurance so that we can get the floors fixed. They gave us their office number and asked us to call. When we talked to who ever answered the phone they stated that they only carry the minimum insurance that the state of florida requires and that is for only the contents that are in the truck (meaning after the items are off of the truck the items and the home are not covered. ) After going back and forth they decided to refund $175 of the $375. With the damage to the floor it's not going to cover it. My takeaways.... These guys are amateur movers. The guys were from Lakeland. 80 miles from the job site. The drove here rented a U-Haul, used U-Haul cheap blankets, uhauls cheap dolly and tried to a job that they did not have the proper equipment for. They do not carry any insurance for the items they are moving once they leave the vehicle. So if they damage ANYTHING, they are under insured and won't be able to fix or repair what they have damaged.

After the quote we actually got rid of some large items like dressers, a full sized bunk bed, etc making it less to move. Movers came, they didn't take a lunch break and we felt bad so we fed them ($100 for that, no biggie). They were unable to finish in one day as discussed. Inconvenient but ok. The next day same thing, we ended up buying them lunch AND dinner ($250+) and had a big cooler of drinks bc it was June. They finished at almost midnight of day two, the foreman calls to tell Michael and he says oh its going to be $4,200!!!!!!! Wtf?!?! They said that the job was more than intended (even thought the OWNER quoted us and there were fewer items to move). So we ended up being stuck paying that. The guys left, I said to take a drink for the road, they took them ALL Like 40 drinks we'd been planning on using for our family because the kitchen was still empty. Who does that!!!!!! So after being nice and buying their meals for two days, being generous with drinks, giving one of the guys a case of diapers bc my baby had outgrown them, they double the price. Found out antique furniture had been wrapped in WET moving blanjets, ruining the finishes, hardware for beds was just gone, two pieces from our soda sign collection mysteriously vanished (about $1500 value) and a large stained glass piece was broken in several places. This guy is a crook, his people are thieves, and absolutely unappreciative of any kindnesses and take advantage of whatever possible. Do not use them without a firm estimate in a contract that they cannot change, and anything you don't want stolen, broken or damaged move yourself..
