This place has a terrible service when a guy named Kevin is in charge! I spent yesterday 45 minutes opening a new account to move my stuff to a cheaper unit and at the end, the guy messed up and tried to charge me insurance and taxes when I already paid my own insurance and I have a sales tax certificate so the guy didn't want to do it all over again and asked me to "just pay and hope to get reimbursement later". I said no and came today to talk to the other manager Sara who is great but she's not I'm today. Well the guy Kevin has not been at the office for the last 2 hours! I have been parked outside waiting and wasting my day and this place is closed even though a big sign at the door says "Office Hours: 9:30 - 6:00pm" Today is Monday by the way... But if you don't pay in time, they are very good at charging you $30 for late fees! Ridiculous! read more

ZERO stars for the corporation Public Storage! There is one nice lady who is wonderful at this location but the other makes you buy a lock from them which is a rip off at four times the price from Walmart. Meanwhile, when my brother rented a space from them the other lady did not make him buy their lock. The corporation Public Storage is THE WORST of the WORST!!! They bait and switch by advertising a dollar for the first month but then one lady says they don't have any available while the other five minutes later says that they do. Do not fall for their fraudulent tactics. Overall, the corporation Public Storage SUCKS!!! Go to A Plus storage in Davie instead. They are THE BEST and will not rip you off!!! read more

Don't use Public Storage AT ALL!!! I've been using them for only 4 months and they've been having system's issues and every month instead changing the CC on file, they say it was decline and charge you a $75 late fee. This is happening with SEVERAL CUSTOMERS. Last month they gave me couple late fees back and told me the system was going to be fixed, but this month the same thing happened and they charged me for 2 late fees. You can leave as many messages you want to the manager but he won't call you. They is no one that can help you but a chat system. This is a Scam, run from this company. read more

Place is very clean however, there is constant confusion over billing and they waste massive amounts of my time getting it figured out. I requested to speak with a supervisor or district manager, in fact I called and asked to be contacted by the DM five days in a row and still haven't heard from anyone. Can't wait to get my stuff out of there and be done with them. Find someplace else...they are the worst!!! What kind of corporate culture doesn't let you speak with a supervisor when you have a problem? Crazy that they make something easy so hard!!! read more

They will charge you without notice if you are on autopay. Beware. Not ok to be charging you after you have made your month's payment, and all of a sudden they charge you an additional charge without proper notice of why they are charging you. Not a good business practice. I will report them to the BBB and open a case with the State of Florida. read more

Well when you move in depending on the date they will pro rate it no problem then when you move out just one day after the first you still have to pay for the whole month even if it only one day they do not pro rate it And another thing do make sure you pay your unit definitely by the 6th of the month cause if not this place will cut your locks and then they don't have a manager on the premises only the sales person I don't not recommend this location at read more

I have been a customer here since it was operated by Stor-All. Since they took over the place has gone downhill. when I first moved in my rent was approx. $250.00. They kept on increasing the rent until it got to $660.00 a month. I had to downsize to a smaller unit. When I made the arrangement for the smaller unit the person handling it could not get my email address straight. Therefore when a payment was due I wasn't notified and they made me pay a $45.00 late fee. I tried calling the district manager to try to resolve the problem but she never answered by calls. It took several calls to the main office to find someone to listen to me. It was useless. They told me that once the late charge was processed they could not reverse it. I never had a late charge in the 12 years that I have been there. These people are totally insensitive. I can't wait to move out of there. read more

So I think, what could go wrong I've got a third floor unit inside with A/C. Well, these guys don't take care of their place and the building leaked really bad through a window. They called me and said I needed to come over and move my unit. When I looked in the area where the water was coming from they had a bucket that was full and a bunch of paper towels that looked nasty like they'd been soaked forever. Had to throw out thousands of dollars of personal items and collectables due to mold and water damage. Who knows how long these guys knew about it. This was mid July. I check just the other day in mid September and the same towels were on the floor, the bucket was still there and it looks like they ripped up the roof but c'mon this is nasty. Looks like they aren't renting the two units that were damaged. I asked the manager and district manager about helping me out for my troubles in having to move everything and the damages and they said they can't make that decision. I've file all the paperwork with the insurance company that they force you to have when you rent and they're going to give me $900 which is crazy because that doesn't even cover the brand new unused beds that were in the unit that were ruined. I gave them information for $3500 worth of stuff that didn't even cover everything. Just take this advice if you're reading this, get some pallets and make sure that at least the bottom of your unit is lifted off the ground. If you want to further protect everything, put a layer of plastic wrap on the top of everything incase the sprinklers go off. I'm not a pack rat, this stuff was everything from my condo because my wife and I are currently living with my parents to help them out. read more

Well to start off the pricing seems to depend on who you are. We are paying 390.00/mo. The website calls out 316.00 and my "neighbor" at the storage pays 290.00. Why, I don't know. I asked the guy at the counter and even showed him the print out from the web and a copy of my bill. He knew nothing. The is a business running out of the facility complete with UPS trucks coming and going, using all the hand trucks and just making it impossible to get in and out during the week. The facility used to have a place to sit and vending machines to grab a soda after busting your butt moving but no more. We are out of there and we have been there since before it was a public storage. read more

I have been a customer for several years since the beginning when it was a Store-All. Once Public Storage bought them out...the service and quality of the experience as well as the cleanliness of the store did a complete 180 and became a dirty, hot, impersonal experience. First thing they did when the took over was raise my rate. Then they raised it again...and yet again. In a span of 2 years, my rate has gone up $50. I started in the $160's and they raised it to $212. When I called customer service to express my dissatisfaction of the 3rd rate increase, I was told "I am below market value". When they are advertising in the $180's, $212 was below market value. At this point I told my self it was just not worth the convenience anymore. So I moved out today....swept the storage unit. Walked up to the inside office door and knocked....the office Manager looked at me and pointed to the sign and told me "9:30" which he means 9:30am. It was 9:27am. I stood in front of the glass door and stared at the clock they had inside. He paid me no attention. At 9:30 he unlocked the front door who had nobody waiting then came and unlocked the door I was standing at. He asked me no questions, other than did I take my lock. I swept the unit to return it in the shape it was in when I first moved in...he did not even bother inspecting it. I was shocked for the lack of concern and the lack of care for me....in a soft cast...standing in the door waiting 3 minutes for him to open the door. I knew at that point I made the right decision. The back gate is always left open. There are no garbage cans to throw small trash away. Poor Service, not worth the price....stay away...trust me...stay away. Find another location of you want to be treated like a human being. They will be nice to you until you move in....after that...you are just an account paying the bill.....until you become "below market value". Whoever runs this business has not figured out that if people are happy with what they pay and receive decent customer service....they will continue to pay. Stay away...trust me. I have been in the Service industry for 26 years....they do not provide good customer service or seem to have any concern for loyalty. Stor All was such a better experience....shame they were bought by Public Storage. Stay away...Stay away. Carolyn Y who left the review in June either works for them or does not know what clean is. Poorly managed , no one is ever around on week ends, gate and keypad are frequently broken. Location is good and property is in good shape.
