This is such a nice feature, knowing your car and belongings are safe (mine doesn't have any dedicated parking near my unit. people just park in front of other people's storage units and hope it doesn't block anyone!) Did I mention that the building has sliding glass doors?! This is super convenient when moving stuff. I came here to help a friend, and since the gated parking was limited, I pulled up my car to the non-gated area, where there was no one else parked, and I was able to pull the trunk of my car directly in front of another set of sliding glass doors. Rolling carts were ample and easy to find. The keypads worked flawlessly. Finding the unit was easy, and the hallways did not seem as narrow and claustrophobic as mine. All in all, seeing another unit definitely gives more points to the CubeSmart brand.

In March 2026 I accessed Unit 411 and found two dead rats inside the unit and severe rodent damage to my belongings. The unit was clearly unfit for storage at that point: about 90% of the contents were contaminated or destroyed, and I had to hire a debris removal company to clear everything out at my own expense. I immediately notified the on site manager. No photos were taken, no inspection was done at that time, and the only response I received was an offer of a broom. After I vacated and cleaned the unit, I requested a refund of three months' rent as a reasonable gesture for an unsanitary, unusable space and the costs I incurred. Management refused and told me to take it up with my insurance company. Their rental agreement may disclaim responsibility for contents, but it does not change the reality that I was paying for a storage unit that ended up with dead rats, extensive contamination, no proper on site documentation, and no willingness to offer even a modest rent credit. If you are considering storing anything of value here, you should factor this into your decision.

When I tried to put my review on their Facebook "write a review" page I was blocked. I have rented a storage unit...and even 2, for 3 years at the Davie, FL facility. Please read the contract VERY carefully. They claim to not be responsible for rodent damage among other things. I moved all of my belongings into a unit 3 years ago, I never expected it to be that long. I moved into a new place on 12/16 so excited to have my own place again and my heart broke when I saw my things in my storage unit. My belongings were ruined. Though my clothes and purses were eaten by "rodents" and covered in feces...Management advised THAT is not covered by insurance. Fortunately, my unit also had a roof leak and THAT damage is covered. Though this storage facility will "lock you out" for non-payment after day five...I have been advised my insurance claim reimbursement can take months. No bed, no furniture and having to throw away 30 years worth of treasures...heartbreaking. If that isn't enough...I was advised that I need to remove the ruined things from the storage unit before the end of the month to not incur additional fees. Please be careful who you do business with. While I was shopping for a unit the others in the area told me "don't go there, you get what you pay for"...I was a single mother who learned a hard lesson. It is now 10 days later and I have submitted my claim, which I was told would be expedited and I have heard from no one. Today I contacted my local management and was told "they are probably closed for the holidays". Very nice! Do people not even acknowledge inconvenience? To date I have paid more than $7,000. to store my belongings. Be careful and aware! Update: it has now been almost 3 weeks since my loss. I paid insurance, had coverage and this company will not respond to any inquiries nor have I been contacted by their insurance company. They allow moving in and out until 10pm seven days a week although the office closes at 6pm, which should really be open until 7p or 8p to assist possible new tenants upon leaving work. There are several sizes of Uhaul rentals available at the north side of the building.
