We are planning on doing some renovations to our home and needed a storage unit for the belongings which we have accumulated over the years. My husband wanted to come here because of the close proximity to our home. We met with Brian on Friday (5/13) who happily gave us a tour of the units which were available since we weren't sure what size we would need. As we walked around, we noticed that the facility and the units are kept very clean. Brian told us that he does a daily walk through of the premises to make sure that everything is spotless and that none of the locks have been tampered with. They have different prices (in-store and online) on their units. They can't match the online price because it's set by their Corporate office but it just requires a phone call to their Corporate office who will get your info and set you up with a unit. They offer specials on units that they have a couple of, like 25% off for the first 4 months, and also offer a Long Term Discount if you pay 3, 6 or 12 mths in advance. Once everything is set up with their Corporate office, they do require that you go into the local office to finalize the paperwork and get a lock for your unit which we did today (5/14) and dealt with Tammy who registered us. They sell different sized moving boxes, wardrobe boxes, packing tape, box cutters, locks and mattress bags in the office. It was a very simple process and I am looking forward to getting rid of some of the stuff in our house. It will be the perfect time to go through our belongings and figure out what we really want to keep and what we need to get rid of! read more

Last week we rented a storage unit because we will be moving soon and wanted a place close to our house to bring boxes once they are packed. We moved a couple of carts full last weekend. Great. Today we come by with a truck load and the carts to put your boxes on for the Mile long walk to the units are locked up. You now have to go into the office and leave your ID to get a cart. That's great until we come back with another load at 2:05 pm and the office is closed. There are four other cars here unloading furniture and boxes and no one has access to a cart. Had I known this last weeki would have rented a unit at another facility. She didn't bother to tell us that when we rented, in fact it wasn't that way until a week later. I'm beyond frustrated and so is everyone else that's here. Beware!!!! If you rent a storage unit here and plan to loaf or unload your things in the weekend, make sure you come before 2:00. Super inconvenient!! Update: thanks for asking me to call so we could straighten this out but I've called for two days and it goes to voicemail and says that the mailbox is full. I'd really like to speak to a district manager but haven't connected yet read more

Everything was great until they decided to raise my rate by 50%. I can understand up to 10-15% yearly, but 50% in 6 months!!! Wow!! It would have been great to know that they were going to do that before I moved all my stuff there (6) months ago. I Would have gone somewhere else if I knew this before hand. I'll be canceling asap. Hopefully just a few more months. My plan was to keep it to store Xmas lights after my home's construction project was completed, @ their new rate, I can buy new lights yearly and save money. read more
